  1. Once you break your collar bone once, it's an injury that keeps on happening. Especially in football. It's just one of those bones that never goes back to 100% once it's broken. (Of course, this is not a medical fact, just my opinion from watching the careers of many NFLers get derailed by collar bone breaks). That said, he's not a safe bet by any means.
  2. There was nothing that went right this year. Unless you consider being a terrible team from start to finish is going right. Even during the winning streak this was a bad football team. Were there positives? Absolutely. But I would never classify anything about this team did all year as "right".
  3. If you think Ralph has anything less than the final say, you haven't been paying attention.
  4. Is this argument from 2009? I don't think many have been clamoring for Brohm to be the starter in Buffalo since last season. Certainly not since Fitz caught fire.
  5. I guess. But you'd think the head to head match up would show who was the better team (at least on that day). Since in this case the rule works in the Bills' favor (a rarity -- or so it seems) I'm not complaining
  6. If you're logical, you'd be correct. But the NFL isn't logical. Head to head doesn't matter in this instance. Not sure why, it's an odd rule. SOS is weighed before H2H. I think a coin flip is before H2H too ...
  7. Thanks for that. That's what I thought it was, but I never bothered to do the research ( ). Appreciate it!
  8. I'll allow it! Since, you know, I have that power ... ?
  9. Please do. I'm curious now ... thanks!
  10. You're right ... on replay it wasn't as bad as it looked.
  11. That was awful. But Stevie has to play better defense on that.
  12. Isn't it between 2 and 3? Not 6. Or am I wrong?
  13. McKnight looks like a pro bowler today. He should savior the moment. It won't happen much in his soon to be short career.
  14. I'm fine with taking D first. But if there's a QB sitting there that they've graded as a Franchise type guy, you take him first because they're harder to find. There won't be though. Luck will go 1.
  15. Hahahaha! Steve Tasker is such a prick. "If you can't run the ball against this Buffalo Bills' defense, you don't belong in the NFL". True, but still a dick thing to say.
  16. This I know ... it's about entertainment now
  17. Agree to disagree. That's fine. But the premise isn't moot. Since it's a fact that if the Bills win they will have a lower draft pick than if they lose. They could fall out of the top 10 with a win. A loss they could pick as high as 2. That's a big difference -- especially over seven rounds. Go Bills!
  18. It's not one pick. It's seven. Momentum doesn't carry over from one season to the next, so seven better (in theory) players WILL help more in 2011 than a win in 2010. Yes.
  19. BB had a couple nice throws on that drive.
  20. What means more to the future of the franchise? A win against the Jets' scrubs when there's no chance of getting a winning record in the season OR the division -- or SEVEN higher draft picks?
  21. Fleeting is the key word. A win in January against scrubs in a rivalry that means nothing to anyone outside of WNY when it could potentially slow down your teams rebuilding process is about as fleeting as it gets. Sorry, I'd rather root for a super bowl win than a win against the Jets back ups.
  22. Here we go. Backups vs our starters.
  23. Sure, but as fans we don't play the game. We watch the game to watch (hopefully) our team win a championship. Not a meaningless game in January against backups.
  24. The players and coaches will be playing their hardest for a win -- as they should be. But I'll be hoping they come up short. I won't complain if they do end up winning, but realistically, winning this game means nothing in the grand scheme of things. No one will care if the Bills win, not even Jets fans. The only ones that will be soothed with a win (besides the players and coaches themselves) are the Bills fans who want nothing more than instant gratification.
