So she died because she went to a customer's house due to 'stay in place' orders, this one should be a covid-19 related death. Thoughts and prayers.

Damn covid 19!!!

i have grown to loathe Doug and Carrie from "King Of Queens", now that it's always on seeing repeats over and over you start to see how vapid they are as people. Totally selfish pricks. Really used to enjoy the show, but over time i have really begun to despise them, yet i still watch it on TVLand during overnight hours

The Next Pandemic: SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19
The Poojer replied to Hedge's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Just saw this video, posting it simply to show that there may be more out there and we need to listen to more than one side. If there is any truth in this video, it's scary and disgusting. I'm sure the truth lies somewhere in the middle -
Biggest concert “miss”, biggest concert “letdown”?
The Poojer replied to 4_kidd_4's topic in Off the Wall Archives
probably my biggest miss was of my own doing. Steve Martin on his "let's get small" was playing the NYS fair and i had tickets, then i went and got myself grounded and my parents made me give my tickets to my sister. It killed me that i had to miss it. She repaid the favor a year or two later when she got grounded and had to give her REO "High Infidelity" tickets to me, that concert sold out in like a half hour, in the late 70's no less -

the full text of the headline should include the main part of the article that the warnings are for "outside a hospital or formal clinical trial setting" -

The Poojer replied to Hedge's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Just had this discussion with someone on Twitter.....sadly it seems facts don't matter these days resolution is bad but basically the reply to me was "OK Boomer" which i replied that i'd be willing to discuss using facts and not calling names. -
The Next Pandemic: SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19

couple of questions that may have been answered already..... why is NYC area so hard hit as opposed to other metro centers like LA, Chicago, Boston and DC, and i get the westward creep, but Boston and especially DC should be on par with NYC, as well as Philly, but Philly is higher than the others mentioned other than NYC How did the USS Roosevelt get the virus when the area they stopped at 15 days prior to first diagnosis had virtually no cases Nashville is a major destination city, and one that refused to shut down but eventually gave in, and this right after major tornado destruction that brought thousands of people to the area to help the relief efforts. Why weren't they more affected? I was there 2 days after the tornadoes and trust me, my eyes were totally focused on the post 14 day mark on my calendar as were the 15 other friends i was with, not s single whiff of any symptoms from us or any of our family members. Just curious -

thank you for saying this...people are looking at the percentages and claiming that Trump was wrong....you nailed it. That and a study of 365 is hardly a "statistically viable" study -

Watched season one of Ricky Gervais' "After Life". I thought it was excellent. Very well done. Season 2 starts Friday so I picked a good time to binge S1. Also want to mention Silicon Valley and Veep. Both excellent shows. -
2.5 years ago I brought 2 friends, north of 50, to see dead and company in Camden NJ. My one bud is as conservative and reserved as they come. He now asks me each year what shows we're going to. It's definitely not everyone's cup of tea, but it's a whole lot of fun watching people get on the bus.

It's bad, but not that bad. The subject matter is horrific and a number of pictures are gut wrenching, but as a society I think we owe it to that little boy to try and make sure nothing like that ever ever ever ever.....happens again -

The Trials of Gabriel Fernandez should be watched by everyone simply to Honor his legacy. I'm halfway through and I'm really sad that in the aughts and beyond this is still happening. -
Tom Hamilton of JRAD, among others, just joined him onstage. The two of them jamming on acoustics with Don was slapping the stand up is really fun to watch, naturally Jay lane does a stellar job on drums as always

Weir Wednesday on nugs.tv right now. Bob Weir and Wolf Brothers From philly Fillmore last year. Bob, just messed up the lyrics to bertha ?
-
Dead and Company One More Saturday Night is on their YouTube channel.
-
Oh Bob is definitely keeping the tempo slow, but Mayer, Oteil and Jeff C are really sitting back and doing some really special things to keep the spirit of the band moving forward. The trick is catching Jeff and Oteil in the smaller venues/clubs really honing their "Dead" chops then seeing them on the bigger stage
-
I'm just really happy to have the music continuing on. I'd rather have John mayer than no Dead tours. I'll go to the mat defending Mayer but I fully get the resistance. I'm just happy to have fall and summer tours I can escape to
-
perhaps my all time favorite Dead moment. Brent at his best
-
Of course we all miss Jerry but Brent brought so much soul into the band, and his keyboard jams were otherworldly. Drugs did a major number on Jerry, but i think Brent dying was almost as lethal. Jerry had so much appreciation for him as you pointed out with his smiling as Brent took over. Phil doesn't get enough credit either...sure we all hated when phil songs came on, but his playing was incredible. I'm glad he felt strongly enough to get out and enjoy his life with his kids and play when and with who he feels like, but he was as important a piece of the band as any of them
-
for my money probably their best show...i think Jerry and Brent were at the top of their game during that whole 89 summer tour, but Philly was the pinnacle as far as i am concerned
-
I think I love you!!!! ♥️?
