Tom Jones Turns 80... and it appears to be a long time coming...
The Poojer replied to T&C's topic in Off the Wall Archives
I was probably pre teen early 70s, my mom fell ice skating, we spent the night at neighbors house while my folks went to the hospital. The room I stayed in had a Tom Jones poster. I threw up and that began my lifelong intolerance of that welsh devil -

that's asparagus...get your green veggies straight man!!! -
This is something i really don't have a problem with at all, it's way better than ruining buildings and still makes an impact. Plus i'd be a hypocrite if i was against it as I love the shamrock painted on the road in Tipp Hill in syracuse every saint patricks day...or green lines painted along parade routes.

I lived in Richmond for 25 years and Monument Ave was one of the most beautiful avenue's i'd ever seen. I'm not a native southerner so to me they were statues that were part of the history of the south. I personally never glorified it. I understand that a lot of people feel very strongly on both sides of the confederate issue. I always thought of Monument Ave as an outdoor museum. It's a damn shame because the statues really were aesthetically pleasing to look at as statues.

I posted a link yesterday that he was identified as one of the peaceful protesters that opened fire in the crowd that led to his being shot and killed, allegedly he was caught on video from his own BBQ shack as well as other businesses

I didn't see a ton of spin...they certainly highlighted Clinton's numerous trips and visits and that one employee in VI said he never saw anything inappropriate from Clinton. I do think it showed an awful lot of pictures of President Trump but really never linked him to anything other than a friend/acquaintance. I thought the doc focused mostly on what a despicable piece of ***** eptein was. I think they treated the victims with a ton of respect. I didn't get a lot of obvious spin out of it, which i appreciated

Honestly I've listened to and sang that song hundreds of times and always sang and heard "virgin snakes" I knew it was odd and made no sense but never bothered to read the actual lyric

You walk through a crowd that you know already hates the President wearing a Trump t-shirt, you better expect some sort of reaction, but that is absolutely despicable. I hope they identify the person who spit on him and that she is charged with something serious. Absolutely horrendous.
