  1. I've actually started consuming more fermented foods rather than supplements, been reading and hearing a lot about gut bacteria and how important it seems to be to overall health. I got some milk kefir grains from a Mennonite farm, kombucha starter on Friday, making and eating a lotof fermented vegetables as well. So far results look promising in a small sample set. We'll see how it goes over time
  2. Another network show that I'm watching on Hulu. Flatch, it's pretty damned funny. I get a corner gas/letterkenny vibe from it, mostly because of the small town aspect of it, stifler is the only actor I recognize, and he's even pretty much a supporting role. I'm about 6 episodes in and am really enjoying it
  3. I'm a hicks and gallo fan, but it's time to think before we lose andujar. I get the contracts are big factors but I'd hate to see miggy leave like that, not that the Yankees are going to just let him leave
  4. Just started E1 of apple+ prehistoric earth with David Attenborough and done by Jon favreau. I would watch Attenborough narrate paint drying. The cinematography and CGI is visually stunning. I think it's 5 45-60 minute episodes. I'm always a sucker for the BBC planet earth series and this one seems to be a homerun so far
  5. Guilty of being awesome!!!
  6. Just starting the Norm McDonald Netflix show. I'm about 3 minutes in and I'm not sure I can make it the entire show. I think he was funny AF, but this format of him speaking into a microphone at home isn't working. Norm's brilliance was in the crowd or interviewers interaction. This is just him talking into a computer. I'm gonna try to stick with it, but it's not going to be easy
  7. Thanks for reminding me about that show. I have wanted to check it out
  8. Can vouch for all ages except the good place. The rest are awesome! Never watched any of them live, only repeats on streaming
  9. I'm watching Barry on HBO Max, it's pretty interesting. Very dark, some funny moments, gotta suspend reality while watching it, but definitely worth checking out
  10. Letterkenny spinoff "Shoresy" finally dropped on Hulu, 2 weeks after Canada got it on crave. Watched E1, didn't blow me away, I guess I was expecting more like letterkenny. But I follow a podcast that recaps each show so I'm not going to binge this one. I need to hear the recap to see what I'm in for
  11. I love Kim and Saul, never liked Howard, but honestly never crossed my mind he'd be disposed of in any sort of dramatic fashion. I guess I figured he'd just fade into Bolivia. That mid season finale completely shocked me.
  12. not usually a network show fan but Ghosts on CBS/Paramount+ is a VERY funny show. also just started on "Barry" on HBOMax. Very interesting. Love Bill Hader so i am gonna stick with this one for a while
  13. i appreciate the effort @Shaw66, @Bill in NYC and @Virgil among others have done recapping the games the past few years. They were always my first reads after the games to get good analysis and observations. I can't imagine the time and effort that went into those weekly nuggets. Thanks for what you all did and continue to do for the rest of us
  14. Billy Bob Thornton in Slingblade is the first to come to mind for me
  15. Warriors all the way for me, but I love Jimmy Buckets so I'll definitely root for them over Boston. I also have grown a lot of respect for spoelstra as a coach. But golden state for me now that the Sixers flamed out.... again
  16. I thought he just paused ticket sales in some strange gesture to honor the victims of yesterday's tragic events
  17. Interesting that buffalo braves in a very convoluted way became the boston celtics and the celtics became the san diego clippers.
  18. Sometimes it's just not worth the effort, actually don't even know if it's possible when replying on my phone
  19. I loved Malcolm in the middle and I think this is the first time I saw the last name of the family 😲
  20. and another thing, probably would have followed Melo, but just so happened my oldest was 12 or 13 when Melo arrived on campus and he was probably among his biggest fans, so that's probably why i went into adulthood with 'idolizing' an athlete
  21. I always followed the Buffalo Braves as a youngin, but other than being a big fan of several players, i didn't really latch on to individual players as much as i did Football and Baseball. Being a syracuse guy, Carmelo was the first one i TRULY followed start to finish. Maybe Pearl, DC and Sherman Douglas, but Carmelo was on a different level even before leading them to the NCAA championship
  22. OJ Simpson, Fran Tarkenton, Greg Nettles, Carmelo Anthony to name a few
  23. just another in a long list of Spinal Tap drummers LIST OF SPINAL TAP DRUMMERS (ALL DECEASED) John “Stumpy” Pepys (1964–1966) Died in a bizarre gardening accident, that the authorities said was “best left unsolved.” Eric “Stumpy Joe” Childs (1966–1967) Choked on vomit of unknown origin, perhaps but not necessarily his own, because “you can’t really dust for vomit.” Peter “James” Bond (1967–1977) Spontaneously combusted on stage during a jazz festival on the Isle of Lucy.
