  1. Taron not there on 3rd down.
  2. I will answer my own question. I selected free trail and “Bills“ and then it kicked me out and said it’s for areas with no other coverage. Direct TV /NFL Sunday Ticket is probably blocking it.
  3. Sports Bars are out for me. is this a place I can watch and pay for only Bills games with no hassles? Anyone know what it costs?
  4. From Bills fans view: underrated - Spain. Literally no accolades but he was the first that Beane re-signed. Murphy - overcame ACL injury, fans don’t seem to appreciate him. overrated - Hughes. He is slowing down so Beane brought in more bodies to rotate in.
  5. On a National scale: Overrated - None. We have not been relevant long enough to have overrated players Underrated - it was White until his All Pro recognition. Now it’s probably Milano and Dawkins. There is not much pub on them outside of Buffalo. Most scrutinized - Allen. Some of the negative press is ridiculous for a player that needed coaching and seasoning and was thrust into a rebuilding offense (recall the 2018 OL and the 2019 WRs).
  6. Yes. All of those could reduce cost. But also: Less gear - more police deaths and injuries ( meaning maybe less effective in tough situations) Less scope - more of a cost transfer than a reduction weed and prostitution - the police do not make laws. We the people do. Vote for candidates that support what is important to you.
  7. Yes and the workers own the means of production. Everything is distributed equally in theory. It is the basis for communism and socialism.
  8. Most people don’t understand the BLM Marxist connections or how they are funded. I’m not sure I do either and the media will not cover it. The basic concept of BLM resonates with well intended people, especially young people, because most of us are not racist and we did not raise our kids to be racist. However, simply blaming and defunding the front line Joe-Blow policeman for these problems won’t solve it either. Allowing protests to turn into destructive and dangerous riots, some lasting many months, that too is wrong. This is were we see a good cause become hijacked by extremists.
  9. Agree that the notion of defunding the police is a very bad message and bad idea. All of my black friends think this a bad idea too. Yes, get the bad ones out, that is a must - but let’s not throw out the baby with the bath water. How about more training for police? Most everyone agrees with that idea but training will cost more money, not less. We can see in some of these cases that the police did not have the training to de-escalate and control some very volatile situations. In other cases mistakes are being made that could be prevented with more or better training. Maybe even better selection of police officers to start with? Defunding will not improve policing, it will help the criminals though. Too very important jobs In our society are the police and our school teachers and we continually fail to develop them and pay these people what they are worth. Better training, better pay, and more respect would attract better candidates into these important jobs.
  10. The Jets are catching a break with a rookie LT playing his first game, a road game, with no fans. Bills fans are very loud and have been known to draw penalties, time outs, and mistakes. The 12th Man name is there for a reason. The league is letting teams pump in crowd noise but how much, how is it measured, where is it measured, and will the league monitor it real time? If I’m Buffalo I’m pumping in mega noise until told otherwise.
  11. I just read 12 pages of this ... most of it funny and some pretty sad. I don’t understand why people don’t see the purpose in what they are doing. It’s simple - public safety. No more than that. It’s inconvenient but best for the greater good. Let’s start thinking in those terms. Things are bad now and there is a serious leadership void. I talking about both parties too. .
  12. Dealing with this pandemic is NEW FOR EVERYONE and there are bound to be some rules that someone does not agree with. When this is over there are certainly going to be things we could do better that will be learned after the fact. I really like Feliciano but he needs to deal this it and keep his frustrations in check. Pull together, follow the rules, be civil and let’s get through this.
  13. The rookie will likely be very good someday. Tomorrow he benefits from no crowd at a road game.
  14. All the Jet jokes are sounding bad. They are not as far away as some think. I am fine with Levi. I just hope he is healthy. If he was he would be starting over Norman. A strong pass rush is important tomorrow.
  15. Yes, he is the best player on the roster and plays a critical position as an All Pro level. He is also a class act and fan favorite. Great move by Beane.
  16. I would advise to keep shaving for now and try again next year. More importantly, let’s hit those passes and make great decisions.
  17. Flacco has not had a better career when you consider the times and you think on broader terms. Not even close. A healthy Namath meant a great passing game in a time when running was the to go. Namath was the best player coming out of college and he chose the AFL, A few years later he wins a Super Bowl when everyone else thought the Jets did not have a chance. His legend is he predicted the win. He was a big part of the “pop culture” of the times. Yes, Joe Willie belongs in the HOF.
  18. Agree. Stats just don’t tell the story on how he played in his prime. He was the best player coming out of college and he fulfilled his promise with the Super Bowl win. He had tons of serious injuries. Played for good teams and bad. It was a different era and a different game. An era where quarterbacks were given a long time to develop, and yet he was one that made an immediate impact.
  19. I think Buffalo has the best Month of July, among the best In the country. It’s great all through September. I don’t see him as a Bill under this regime.
  20. I like Bills Stadium better than a Corporate name that will change again. Prefer Ralph Wilson Stadium too.
  21. Great player but he really hit a wall as the season went on. He averaged 3.6 YPC last season and he was not automatic in short yardage situations. His average YPC was more likely to decrease, not increase, with more carries. So no, that does not earn you 280+ carries. Sorry Frank. Much more likely that Singletary gets 1000 with more carries and still averages 4+ YPC.
  22. Chill out and understand that players have an obligation to respond to questions the press. If he boycotted talking to the press you would probably have a problem with that too. We all know his play has dropped off since his All Pro level play. Perhaps he can recapture his game under McDermott? He will only play if he earns his reps, that is the McDermott way.
  23. Tre White is already one if the best in the league. Edmunds is developing into a top ILB. If Oliver can take a jump this year we are looking great on defense. Hope to see All Pro levels this year.
  24. Sounds like you are in law enforcement so I will defer to you -. Oliver clearly did not get special treatment. I am just happy Oliver was clean on all testing. Good for him.
