Week 6 Postgame Thread KC at Bills
Bob in STL replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Because the Chiefs were running almost every down. -
EJ should not have been a first round pick. Even die hard Seminoles fan were shocked he was taken in the first round. His had marginal talent and slow reaction speed for the NFL game. That is why he did not make it.

Bills are a Good, Solid NFL Team.
Bob in STL replied to PUNT750's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Star missing is hurting the ability to stop the run. LBs are getting sealed off. Jordan Phillips missing hurts our inside pass rush. He was disruptive in pass rush. Lorenzo missing is hurting LB play and leadership. The defense is clearly not as good as last year. Injuries to Milano/Edmunds have contributed to poor play. Oliver is playing hurt and has not been a factor. Depth at CB and LB are problem areas, as they were last year. -
Lorax discusses Tremaine Edmunds
Bob in STL replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Edmunds misses Star a lot. Our defense is struggling because we are weaker up the middle without Star and Phillips. That and injuries to Milano, Levi, and Tre. The DL has to do more to keep blocker off of Edmund too. I think that missing Star and Phillips from last year is hurting. Star ate up blockers for other people to make plays. Phillips made plays. -
Postgame Thread: Bills at Titans
Bob in STL replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Let’s put this game away. We were not ready to play from the first drive of the game. Distractions, delays, injuries, poor preparation and execution in all phases, turnovers and penalties. Wow. Ok. Get ready for KC. Short week. No excuses. Get ready. -
Week 5: Bills at Titans on Tuesday Night Football
Bob in STL replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It is best to build your team with players that do not rely on external forces to get motivated. Motivation that comes from within is what i would look for. Players that are students of the game, always prepared and ready, and do not need to worry about being "respected". -
Wish Dark all the best in his recovery. Andy Dalton was clutch to get them the win. In that division the Cowboys can win with Dalton.

NFL Launches LGBTQ History Month PSA
Bob in STL replied to WotAGuy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
TV is not the only thing parents of young children need to monitor. You might be surprised to see how much different the public schools are now. Looking at it from my lens some is for the better but not all of the change is good. -
NFL Launches LGBTQ History Month PSA

This thread made me think of football commercials when I was a kid in the 60’s, laying on the floor on Sunday watching the games on tv. Lincoln Mercury - beautiful women in slinky dresses laying on top of luxury cars All season radial tires with a Dad driving his family in snow and ice and doing it safely. Prestone Radiator Fluid - put a hole in the can and the fluid stops the leak in seconds. Wow Sexy women watching men shave with Nozema “medicated comfort shave” cream. Can’t wait until my beard grows like Dad and Uncles. Investment firms and insurance policies - don’t know what they are talking about. Beer - lots of Miller, Bud, even Sclhlitz. Maybe a can mooch a few swigs later? Cigarettes - Marlboro country, Lucky Strike, Kool. Airline flights with happy and well dressed people going to exotic places (Pan Am, TWA ) Car Batteries starting in arctic conditions with the lights left on. Pretty girls chasing you because you are wearing Hi Karate. Midas Mufflers, Dodge Trucks, Chevy Camaro, Ford Mustang - I bought them all when I got older. Like today, it was a volatile and highly political time, but football was still a diversion. -

LBGTQ history? History? This is about product expansion. the NFL growing its fan base into a demographic with money to spend. -
Week 6: Chiefs at Bills (+5): Monday 5pm on Fox
Bob in STL replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You have to take them as they come to you. Now let’s go there and pound the crap out of them. -
I didn’t know his game fell so much until I saw this thread. He played a great game against us in the playoffs last year. He made several big plays. For him that was only 6 games ago.

MNF: Pats* at Chiefs 7:05 pm CBS
Bob in STL replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Pats* are garbage without Cam. Bills getting on props on National TV. Bills on the rise. Pats* gonna go down. -
Great execution. As previously stated, if this does not work then everyone is calling for DaBoll’s head Just don’t try this against the Pats*. Bellichek saw it yesterday. Im betting he spent his Sunday off studying the Bills.

I give him an A. No need for the minus, he came back after an injury. Nice road win against a tough team. -
Gameday Thread Bills @ Raiders 2nd Half
Bob in STL replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That drive ended with a penalty and 2 drops. Another bad series in the 3rd quarter. Tine for the defense to wake up and makes some plays. -

No to Shaq. A little to Phillips. Yes, to Star. Star helps the LBs a lot. -

Beasley. Big play. Allen seeing things. -
I am pumped about this game. Bills defense, need you to show. Josh Allen continue to have fun and shine. I think we can win impressively.

Hell hath no fury like Bon Jovi scorned ...and Bear Cams
Bob in STL replied to BringBackFergy's topic in Off the Wall
Rock star? He is a classic example of how unfair the music business is. Terrible musician and songwriter. Watching Talas play at Kenmore East High School dances was far better than anything Bon Jovi could do. -

What did so many of the draft experts miss about Allen?
Bob in STL replied to Batman1876's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Scouts can’t always measure: Heart. Intelligence. Willingness to work hard. Willingness to learn. He has all of that. He had the ability and courage to gain acceptance first, and then lay it out there and lead by example. The people around him trust him and he makes them better. -
Hyde is an effective player and team leader. I’m going to go with McDermott and Beane on this one.
