  1. Nope. I’d rather play our young guys.
  2. I thought Kyle made noticeable contributions in his early years. He always looked like a gamer to me. Can’t say the same for Harrison. He looked good for awhile last season, before the injury. I think he ends up on IR and he gets another shot next year after more rehab.
  3. I guess I found humor in what you said. I don’t wish to debate the laughing emoji. Therefore, you are the first and only on my ignore list. Cheers.
  4. See below. posted 3 hours ago You almost offered something of substance there at least. Instead of a lame😃
  5. He made a few long ones and he responded to the pressure. Hauschka missed one today, as did Gostnowski.
  6. WEEK SEVEN: B 30/43 - 70% completion - 307 yards - 0 TD - 0 INT - 61 yards rushing - 1 fumble With all the injuries and the way the defense played for the first 20 minutes or so it was going to come down to Josh. In the second half he responded and became much more patient and as a result his completion percentage went up and he lead us on many long drives. The red zone woes were not on him. He had on TD called back on penalty and another were our TE fell while running for a score. We never punted today. Thankfully the defense played a fabulous 2nd half and help to enable the win.
  7. Somehow I think Belichick will have some new wrinkles. I expect he will try to run first since his QB play is limited and our run defense is suspect. Expect Cam to be an RB type threat Last year he got us with a blocked punt and then they knocked Josh out of the game due to concussion protocol. I want this game more than any other game in a long time.
  8. Nice, so your here to enlighten others. Great. My experience is that people who call other people names are not very enlightened.
  9. Nice to see the Pats* get pummeled at home. Here is to a good week of practice and a normal routine for a 1:00 home game. Get going on that film McD.
  10. Yes indeed. I hope to see him play more and push Singletary.
  11. It looked worse the first time at game speed. On replay the hit was not as high as I first thought. Those hits were common in past decades but these guys are so strong and fast now that anything to the helmet will get flagged.
  12. I am a big Beane fan. But it’s a little early to laud him on drafting Dane Jackson, the kid played one game. Beane has made some great moves and he has some misses too. We are still waiting on you though.
  13. The Fitz trade is a joke. But hey, let’s move the Fitz cycle to Jax.
  14. I know he got an unsportsmanlike flag. That was all I recall of the Zimster
  15. Probably a little of both. Throw in the Gase factor and we score 6 unanswered FGs to win
  16. Sure, nice pick. Now let’s talk about replacing Jordan Phillips with the people he brought in as free agents. Or replacing Lorenzo with Klein?
  17. No it seemed better WITH Moss.
  18. 47 yards divided by 7 carries equal to 6.7 ypc
  19. Moss was hitting the hole hard and fast in the 2nd half. Maybe Feliciano gets back and gets a few reps. I think we are primarily a passing team in a passing league but I agree, it’s time to run with authority like the top teams do.
  20. I see a trade for Fitz in the works.
  21. Not strange. They used him correctly. He saw some action. He made a few plays. His pec (not hammy) is healing. He will be better and play more against the Pats*.
  22. Count me out on this. We still look like a top 5, 6, or 7 team in the rugged AFC. We are 5-2 and lead the division so why apologize for that? McDermott is doing a fine job. I think we have less talent on defense this year than in the past. We simply have not replaced players like Star, Lorenzo and Kyle. We did not improve our defensive depth despite the many free agents that were brought in. Beane will not fire his coach and if the Pegula’s are dumb enough to fire McDermott he will get hired immediately and I suspect Beane would be sending out feelers too. I might remind you that Pittsburgh has had 3 head coaches since Chuck Noll in the 70’s. Three. THREE. Firing our coach would be immensely stupid.
  23. My take is that we played another shakey game but we’re good enough to win against a hapless team. The defense had a very poor start - bad run defense and no pressure. Then they came on and played a great second half. I wonder if McD took over the playcalling? They could have choked after the penalty on 23 but instead they played better. Finally got a big game from 55. We need to get healthier on defense. The offense never punted. Six field goals in eight attempts is an oddity. Josh was inaccurate in the first half, forcing throws in traffic, and the fumble in the red zone. Many bad penalties again, one nullified a TD. On the positive side Josh was patient and more accurate in the second half. Moss hit the holes fast and hard. Beasley always seems to be open. Special teams had two penalties on punt returns. Then Bass goes 6 of 8. His second miss really hurt but overall he built some scar tissue mental toughness this week Pats* next week will be much tougher. The Pats* game is huge and I can remember the last time we beat them in an important game.
  24. Too many penalties. I am surprised by the lack of disciple. Two punt returns in a row.
