As stated, Browns and Ravens are run oriented by design. Lamar and Mayfield are not bad. QBs. Especially Mayfield who is picking up his passing game. Statistics alone do not tell the story.

Definitely a strong game and a very good RT. I hope Beane can find a way to keep him.

I was on pins and needles all game right up to the last drive. great win. Another physical win. Another strong game for the defense. Allen had ok stats but played a smart and determined game. This time we made the adjustments and put them away in the 3Q. Then the final drive to run out the clock - that is what you want. Let the offense seal the game in the shadow of their goalposts.

I think they would rather sign Darnold than Wentz.

Never said he had a strong arm. Never made a comparison to Allen either. But he put that ball in a tight spot and he got it there fast. Give a guy credit for making a good play. It won’t hurt you.

They can beat Pats* and Raiders. Do not underestimate them. They are playing KC.

What they are learning is they should have taken Herbert. Put Herbert on this Miami team and, as a Bills fan, I would be very concerned. I’m no draft expert either but Herbert looks special.

Tua with -2. He looks very much like a rookie. If Mahommes can sit a whole year behind Smith then Tua can sit behind Fitz. The kid had no preseason. Not seeing the logic in this at all.

Tua has a lot to learn and the announcers are correct in stating he did not have a normal preseason. He looks like a good athlete that is learning fast but with arm strength limitations. Seems like Fitz might have fared better with the opportunities they had so far.

Always best to rest your starters on the last week if you can. Miami defense loaded with athletes that make plays.

Watkins is a good #2. Whaley sucked.

The Pegula’s need to just stay away. With the Bills the NFL provided help and resources. Thankfully they got rid of Brandon (don’t let Rex leave the building) and used the resources available to find McD. Some luck involved but they should get credit for the hire. The NHL has not been nearly as accommodating to the guy that was just gonna drill wells and spend money to win Cups. They also own that dumpster fire called the Sabres and have been at the root of many organizational issues and bad hires.

I have family in Pittsburgh and several friends from there as well. They are used to winning, very realistic on their team’s performance, and they are quick to jump ship. Just this morning my cousin in Pittsburgh and I talked and he said these things: “ The Steelers are overrated”, “ they had an easy schedule”, “they got lucky in a lot of games”, and he “really wants to see Buffalo win a Super Bowl”. Nice guy, I think he truly wants us to get a championship too.

In this situation they are pretty much equal but I picked Beane as more influential because he is responsible for the bringing in talent. McD can tell him what he wants and needs but if Beane cannot deliver it then McD is stuck. Example: McD - “ Hey Beane we need a franchise QB, Tyrod is limited.” Beane - “ Agree, I think we have a good shot at Josh Rosen, an all American that played in the PAC 10”.
