I do believe that if he is called upon he will be ready and play well.

CBS: Bills QB Situation "Mild Intrigue"
Bob in STL replied to Rubes's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Pretty bad article. Bills will extend Allen and maybe they bring in some competition for #2. Depends on what Fromm is showing them. -
Yes, I remember the Boston Patriots and their cast of AFL players. Never understood why Jim Nance didn’t dominate more. What a load. Two really great seasons, 66 and 67, then he faded. Another Syracuse monster fullback (Brown and Csonka). I could not say that the old Boston fans are any more “worthy” than today’s version. Times have changed a lot. They did stick with the Sox for decades but they jump off that bandwagon quickly too. I have four unsolicited emails/texts from my New England Colleagues and friends after this weekends elimination: 1. “We just need a QB, our defense is good, and BB is the Goat, yadda yadda ...” 2. “ We should have kept Brady, the Bills still suck” 3. “ 6 rings to 0. Blah, blah ...” 4. “Good luck, I’d like to see Buffalo win one”. I just want to beat them on MNF and take this one game at a time.

Is Jake Kumerow a potential Tight End?
Bob in STL replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He is not a TE. But he is a ST maniac. If he is good enough on ST he will be an added asset big body asset at WR. Could be a bigger version of Steve Tasker. I hope so. -
49ers sign Josh Rosen
Bob in STL replied to Giuseppe Tognarelli's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He might pass Fitz in teams. He won’t pass him in games started, passes completed, yards, percent complete, or TDs. -
Well of course they have a fans that do know football, i am exaggerating that point. I travel a lot for work, and I spend about 1/4 of my work time in New England, and I find very few students of the game. Winning has created an arrogance and expectation that i see and there unlike no where else. Eating or drinking at my favorite places and getting to know the people - they are quick to say the Bruins/Celts/Sox suck if they are not on top (no matter how recently they won a championship). Have not experience that with the Pats* because football is played one day a week and i am home on the weekends. I cant wait to go back and hear what they say about the need for a re-build. Back to my point of the thread - i don't think the Pats* fans will care about that billboard one iota.
-
You apparently don’t travel to New England much. The Pats* are smug and arrogant. They don’t really follow football, they follow the Pats*. They don’t care about being called the best fans. Any discussion with them on football quickly gets to these three things: 6 rings, Brady Goat, Bellicheck Goat. That’s what they know and care about. They don’t know other teams very well and they respect very little about them. The sign will fire up the Pats* team more than the arrogant fans. Not that the Pats* need anything outside to fire them up. I’m sure they are all pretty passed right now about this season.

The Shout Song needed a Shout Dance...ITS FINALLY HERE!!
Bob in STL replied to StHustle's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Lighten up Francis. It was fun. Never gonna catch on because the Shout! Song allows for improvisation. Anyone can do just about anything during that song. -
Who do you guys want to play in the playoffs?
Bob in STL replied to Adamb412's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Try to win every game that you need to win. Then play whoever you play. Never try to game the system. -
Mine was a Pats* versus Bills game in the 60’s. I think is was 1964. On the opening kickoff our fullback, Cookie Gilcrest, destroyed a Pats* player. He got up from the pile and asked the crowd of Pats* players “which one of you mother Fockers is next?” I want that to start again. Right now.
-
All I want to do is beat the living ***** out of the Pats*. Just like the good old days. Let’s start the trend.
-
The Browns don’t scare me. I’m watching them against the Giants (more like midgets) and Mayfield is small.
-
I hope we beat the living chit out of the Pats*. No mercy. Kill them. We can move up in the seeding so any thought of resting a starter that can play is crazy. Drive a Gigantic Stake straight into their heart and move on. They are *****.

Happy for Jerry Hughes
Bob in STL replied to SageAgainstTheMachine's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I guess we saw that Jerry is a freakin great athlete. For a big man he has hands, coordination and agility. As a kid, no matter what level he probably always had the ball on offense and he played defense. -
Happy for Jerry Hughes
Bob in STL replied to SageAgainstTheMachine's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He was always a very good player but now he is more. His leadership and buy-in to what McD is selling is what will extend his career. -
The last thing I look at is seasonal total point differential. Those early and middle season weeks are over. You are your record. We are 11-3. We played a challenging schedule. We clinched the division with 2 games left and still have a shot to seed higher. All phases of our game are improving and we are (knock on wood) pretty healthy.

Some info on Diggs and Tre Injuries
Bob in STL replied to MAJBobby's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He probably did ask about Diggs but no one talks about injuries, at least not until the league makes you report injury status. If it’s major it’s known quickly but no teams openly talk about their player war wounds.
