  1. Yes. The overall team defense is hard to argue with though. It’s a shame that they hold a team to 9 points on the road, despite 3 offensive turnovers, and we can’t win the game. The OL is the cause of many problems, it starts up front.
  2. Good assessment. The Jags had a plan to get into our heads. Their receivers went after Tre White twice in the he first series. The goaded us into retaliation penalties all day leading to FOUR unsportsmanlike penalties on Buffalo. I do think the penalties hurt our offensive rhythm more than you indicated. There was a procedure penalty on 4th and 2 that forced us to punt. It looked like the defense encroached. CBS did not show the replay. Our punter then kicked a line drive into the end zone for a net 23. Frustrating plays happened all day. There was an unnecessary roughness on RT Williams that killed a drive and it looked like a bad call. The Jags took the Miami film and exposed us. There is no Buffalo running game to worry about. Keep Allen in the pocket by applying blitz pressure from the ends. The OL could not run block and they were confused on stunts and blitzes. Many untouched defenders got to Allen. Josh Allen was all we had and it was not enough. For all his mistakes, Josh produced 314 yards combined passing and running. Singletary/Moss together only produced 22 yards running. The Bills had 301 yards total offense when you factor in the 4 sacks allowed (-35 yards). The premature talk of home field in the playoffs can now stop. The first step is always to win the division title and New England is now just 1/2 a game out and they are improving. Bellichek has more film to study on this one. Like it or not Urban Meyer out-coached us. Daboll had no answers, no adjustments. McD had some curious moments as well. The Jets are improving and will be a very hard road test. All of a sudden we look average and we are in a battle.
  3. 1990: Will Wolford - Jim Richter - Kent Hull - John Davis - House Ballard Yesterday: Dawkins - Boettger - Morse - Ford - Williams. There is no comparison between the two lines and the 90’s OL back ups were also much better. Even with Feliciano back at LG, Spencer Brown at RT, and Williams at RG there is no comparison. 1990 KGun RBs : Thurman Thomas, Kenny Davis, with FB’s Jamie Mueller and Carnell Garner Yesterdays RBs : Singletary, Moss, Taiwan, Gilliam or Brieda running back talent is not close. Neither is versatility such as ability to catch down field and the ability to block. Kenny Davis was far better than any back on the current roster. None of them could touch Thomas or even deserves to be in the conversation. 1990 TEs: McKeller, Metzellars, Rolle. Yesterday TE: Sweeney, Q Morris, K Warring, (Knox injured) 1990 TEs we’re all multi faceted. McKelkars was a multiple threat player. Metzellars could block like an OT and catch passes. With Knox out the current TE cast has no real contributions from anyone. The 2021 Bills are Josh Allen, some very good receivers, an excellent defense, and a good PK. They have a very questionable OL with no depth, no running game outside of Allen, and a below average punter. Our team defense in 2021 is better, especially the DBs.
  4. No time to get deep. The OL didn’t block, looked like they didn’t know who to block at times. Jax was getting to Allen untouched. Daboll had no answer. No screens, no draws, no slants … Makes me wonder what is happening in practice and preparation.
  5. This happens for bottom feeders, not contenders.
  6. This is a very good team trying to be a great team. It’s a journey. It could take a few years to win a title. The team made up of a lot of great professionals, and great people, and they are fun to watch and follow. This team deserves great support. You are pouting. ROI is an odd take if you are a dedicated fan that supports them. You love football and the Bills then ROI is not a consideration.
  7. I was watching in the mid 60’s. This was one of the most surprising, horrendous, bizarre, and disappointing games I’ve seen. They can use this as a much needed wake up call, or not.
  8. Morning walk - check Workout - check Breakfast with wife - in progress Watch game with Bills Backers Bills 41 - Jags 14
  9. The Pats* have a lot of new players. They are just starting to get the system there. They will be a challenge.
  10. Some People expect a pro bowl difference maker because of his draft position. Unrealistic but true.
  11. Marino wasn’t even their QB during the streak if the 70’s. That was Griese with help from Morrall, and Strock, and anyone else they put in their.
  12. Very sad to see. I hate seeing injuries. Hope he can recover.
  13. I was trying to watch everything on the field. After getting the formation and coverage I put my binoculars on RG-C-LG to start the play. From what I saw Feliciano had a worse game than Boettger.
  14. I didn’t mind the TD but I don’t understand the need to go for 2 either. Yes, mathematically 17 would be a 3 score game but there was not enough time to get even 2 scores. Other than that we will see them next year.
  15. I went to the game. Long day, started tailgating at 9:00. Was out in the drizzle for hours. The first half was not good for the offense. The guards are really not playing very good right now. Lots of shuffling of personal led to missed assignments. I had the binoculars on them a lot. The second half Allen showed why he is a franchise QB. The defense was good. This game was a testament that every game in the NFL is hard. The Jets beat the Bengals. The Steelers beat the Browns. The Pats* beat the Chargers. The Saints beat the Bucs. I am pleased we were able to right the ship and get the W.
  16. I’ll be heading to the game soon. Tail gate early with Covid check requiring you line up early to get in the stadium. Go Bills !
  17. Social media gives a platform for a lot of bad things. Players posting on social media about their fans is an example of it.
  18. So do you bench Sanders or Beasley? Knox or a RB? Diggs?
  19. Great video and thanks for posting. I miss the simplicity of those times.
  20. I don’t think all of our interior OL sucks. That said, I wanted them to use the 2nd pick to address a stud OG. That will have to happen next year. We have our team in place and the coaches need to coach up the OL that we have and put the offense in a position to succeed. We have brought our team to the party.
  21. No. Despite the standings and some obvious bottom feeders, every game is a challenge. Every game requires you have a good game plan execute the plan. They will be challenged from week to week.
  22. Dehaven’s plan might burn 6 to 8 seconds. If Johnson gets picked, or takes a sack, or we get a penalty we have no time outs and then we can discuss why he didn’t just kick for 3.
  23. Does not really matter. We kicked off and they had time for the play. The mid range kick was not a great idea either. Kick it deep or squib kick it. 20/20 hindsight helps a lot.
  24. I am not sensitive about it but I don’t laugh at it either. It pains me to see it. Ten years of terrible hockey, no identity, and a dead arena - pretty much wipes out a generation of young fans. I sure hope Adams and Granato are the answer.
  25. I am surprised at how many Bills fans are not Sabres fans at all. Not even casual fans. Ten years of the Sabres sucking has taken a big toll but I thought Buffalo fans in general had a higher level of loyalty? In the Sabres 40 years prior to the Pegula reign, the Sabres were the better run and more consistent franchise, especially when under The Knox Family.
