It’s people getting upset and using social media as a platform. I agree with Aikman’s point. I don’t care that he said it in the manner he did. Not surprised there are complaints though.

I think I can recall the Bills getting that call.

Broadcast team ripping Bflo weather

I actually do know a few that did move back to Buffalo for weather. They simply hate heat and hot weather Buffalo summers are amazingly nice and comfortable. -
THE ROCKPILE REVIEW - First Draft, Second Draft
Bob in STL replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall
Is your goal to make this comment in every thread? He was introduced to the NFL in this game. Every cornerback has a few bad games in their career, even Pro Bowlers. If this was one of his then he will be just fine. Listen to his post-game interview and learn about the player. This kid will work very hard, and he has the potential to be a shutdown corner. -
Thank Beane that the Bills didn't draft him. Rosen is not a Buffalo guy, or an Arizona guy, or a Miami guy, or a San Fransico guy, or an Atlanta guy, or a Cleveland guy, or a Carolina guy ...

While I agree that Edmunds and Poyer are very good players and key pieces of the defense, yesterday was not the game that proves that. They we not missed and resting them was the smart thing to do. Pittsburgh scored 3 points. Zero points in the second half and they played against all backups for the last quarter. It was hard to notice we were missing any starters, let alone 5 on defense.

If Allen stays healthy, will Bills win 11 in a row?

It's a long season. -
Hot take: Shakir should be the starting slot receiver going forward
Bob in STL replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall
Shakir looks versatile and can rotate in and sub for any of the three (McKenzie, Davis, Diggs). Whether Shakir "starts" is not important. He will play and he will get targets. I like the possibility that we can move him around. He will make plays. Not sure we are going to see much of Crowder with his injury. Kumerow will go back to ST mostly. -
I am old school in that I love a throwback style MLB but that is not how the Pass oriented NFL works today, especially the Bills defense for that matter. Is Edmunds really a MLB if we play a 2 LB scheme? Does he need to be proto-type 6'5" and 250 to fit what the Bills do? I like the size but does he need it to do what the Bills do? The fact that Edmunds is that mobile and can cover makes him a freaky guy but is he better in our defensive system than Milano? If Bernard is a tweener than so is Milano. Bernad is 6'1", 225, he is a Milano clone in that regard. Milano is 6'0", 223. Dodson is 6'0", 237. If Bernard replaces Edmunds we have two "tweeners" at LB, so we better have some beef at DT to keep these guys clean. LBs, safeties, and corners all have to be quick and all have to tackle to work in our system. Final Comment: I want Edmunds to stay if Beane can figure it out. I think Dodson and Bernard are step down from him, despite how well they played against an ailing Pittsburgh offense.

Dodson is a beast on ST and he now looks to be a very competent back up LB for us. Any talk of him replacing Edmunds is a reach. Which is why Bernard was drafted in R3.

Tom Brady Roughed Up Says Jerome Bogar
Bob in STL replied to JESSEFEFFER's topic in The Stadium Wall
I get that the QB is critical, and Brady gets more protection than anybody, but what are the rules? Can't hit low, can't hit high. Can't land on them with weight. Can't swing them around from the waist. -
Tom Brady Roughed Up Says Jerome Bogar
Bob in STL replied to JESSEFEFFER's topic in The Stadium Wall
Bogar should be relieved of his duties. He is bad, I cringe whenever we get him. -
Tre after the bye sounds right. Beating KC without him will be fun. Our DL is the key and needs to dominate next week and get to the QB a lot.

Bengals with terrible play calling inside the 2. They have a power back who never touched the ball.

Gabe Davis...best deep threat in the NFL?
Bob in STL replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall
Good point for a thread. He uses size and his moves (reading coverage) to get open and gain separation. His "game speed" is pretty fast. -
Lets talk about the 3 big firsts today.
Bob in STL replied to PrimeTime101's topic in The Stadium Wall
Good looking draft class. Plus: Benford pushed his way into the lineup. Bernard is learning and got some reps. Baylon Spector too. -
My takeaways: I was surprised that a Mike Tomlin team played like that, even with injuries. We clearly beat them in the trenches. Allen was amazing again as was Diggs and Davis. The Team Defense is really impressive, especially looking at the quality of the depth. Frazier and McD have this side of the ball dialed in. Some of the players that came up big were Hamlin and Dodson. Hamlin just seems to be getting more effective and confident. Dodson was solid as usual and made himself known out there. Shakir played very well as a receiver and as a returner. Cook made a big play for a TD, he has to continue to gain trust and that means work hard in practice and be ready to go. Elam is a solid rookie, today he had his first rough one. They targeted him a lot and he seemed to be playing off the receiver too much. He had a tough match up with a big receiver. When he came up with the INT that had to be good for his head. He said afterward he has work to do. I am not worried about him bouncing back. On to the Chiefs.

Did Epenesa just earn himself the Jerry Hughes treatment?
Bob in STL replied to Sherlock Holmes's topic in The Stadium Wall
All true, Epenesa used his elbow but never really made contact, but he hung around and said something and that made Hussy throw his hat for the penalty. I doubt Eppy said "Sorry Ref, didn't see you" which was the only smart thing he could have said at that point. -
It was an odd game. We made so many great plays that they negated any mistakes, and we made a few. To start with the 98-yard Bomb to Davis and then Davis makes a one-handed catch on a contested ball for a 2nd TD. WOW!! To think we had an INT in the endzone and a fumble literally inches from the goal line. Could have put up 50+. The defense gave them short stuff underneath and their rookie QB took what was given, but in crunch time the defense held them every time. Next week will be a B I G game, once again in Arrow Head. Hoping we get a few more players back (Knox, Poyer). Did Oliver play, I didn't see him?

We win 38-3 and this is your take-away?
