  1. Good but the Fiat commercial was special.
  2. Giants were looking like they did not know the play?
  3. I think I'll buy a Fiat tomorrow.
  4. He is always boring and repetitive.
  5. Oh no. the Pats* have officially adjusted.
  6. Clint Eastwood still kicks azz. Even in corny commercials
  7. Held best QB and best offense to ten points and that is bad?
  8. Way too much time for Brady. Close half. I like the Giants chances in the 2nd.
  9. Giants outplayed them but stalled drives hurting. Marsha taking the little stuff to move the chains.
  10. Keep hitting Marsha
  11. Good move. Crank it up.
  12. Watching with my surround sound home theater. Lots of crowd noise. Go G Men!
  13. You have the gift of hindsight and you are a GM knowing what each player will accomplish in their careers. Let say all of these players, including Reed, are on the board in this years NFL draft. Its your pick, who do you take? I cannot believe that Reed did not get in given this class of players. Kennedy and Doleman ... Really? Curtis Martin before Reed? Wow.
  14. Good info. Thanks. I loved the North Buffalo and Kenmore area.
  15. No. Recall that we beat the Pats* and had four pics? We also played them tough in the second game. Did you watch the games?
  16. I think your "turn of the century" comment just shows how far behind Buffalo's Glory Days are. There has been another turn of the century since then. I love Buffalo, I defend Buffalo, but you must realize that the city is in very rough shape and the number of nice areas within the city are eroding, not growing. That doesn't get Brady off by taking a cheap shot. Not to mention the citizens that live in the run down neighborhoods. They have some accountability for the condition of their homes and neighborhoods. People should not expect the government to fix things for them.
  17. In no particular order: Romo Butkus Dobler Rodney Harrison Big Bad Ben Davidson - this guy was a complete jerk and king of the late hit and pile on Jack Tatum was feared but not dirty. His hits were legal (at the time) and lethal.
  18. True. Namath not only put the AFL on the map, but his signing with the Jets made the AFL a real threat. The AFL was not going away and Namath was it's show piece. I am biased of course, but as a kid I thought the AFL games were more fun to watch and by the late 60's the AFL had better players. After Namath, you can argue that OJ Simpson was the next biggest star of the NFL.
  19. Bingo. Their half-hearted attempt to convert to a 3-4 brought us Troup, Carrington and a bunch of recycled LBs. Not good enough Mr. Nix. Not good enough for any DC to work with this crew.
  20. linky Base defense is switching back to the 4-3 with Wanny in charge. No surprise there. Typical quote from Chan: "If you look around the league today people are playing four-man fronts and three-man fronts, they're playing a little bit of everything," Gailey said. "We're going to try and put our guys in position to be successful, whatever that position might be. If it's odd spacing sometimes or even spacing sometimes." I wish the Bills would stop looking around the league at start looking at their own roster a little closer. The move to the 3-4 was poorly concieved and poorly executed. It caused us to reach for Troup and Carrington when there were better players on the draft board. Finally, it sounds like Chan is getting what many already knew: "[A], I think that we want to utilize our personnel to the best and we feel like this will allow us to do that," Gailey said. "B, Dave is very knowledgeable in this defense and he's the guy we wanted doing the job and that's another reason we're doing it. And, C, it's easier to find people. It's tougher to find people in the true 3-4 in a lot of ways. It makes it a little bit easier to find people from time to time to run a four-man front than a three-man front. It gets extremely hard to find those outside 'backers year in and year out. It gets tougher and tougher." The wheels have been spinning for over a decade. It won't matter what scheme they play, they need to upgrade the talent and the coaching to win. Oopppps. I see someone posted this already. Sorry Mods, its early.
  21. Our O-line is better than the crud he was playing with the last few seasons in Indy.
  22. Yes I do. I think that may have been a factor in Fisher choosing St. Louis over Miami.
  23. We had Marshawn Lynch and Freddy Jackson and then we drafted Spiller. ?
  24. 1. Franchise QB 2. Game breaking DE 3. Ultra dominant OLB 4a. Premier LT 4b. Supreme WR 5. Impeccable TE 6. Shut down CB 7. Dominant LB
