  1. Can we put this to rest? McDermott has a deal until 2025. There is 0.0 chance he’s getting fired. Why even complain about it.
  2. Reich is usually very good. I am surprised he’s not higher. McDermott has much maligned by the Bills fan base, and I feel a lot of it is to avoid criticizing the players. Glad to see him get some credit
  3. Still gonna feel that way if the Bills lose? I think it’s time for a dome
  4. This is extremely frustrating when you consider that Klein, who wore a mask at the podium a few weeks ago, likely wasn’t vaccinated. He could miss 3 games now. 🤦🤦🤦
  5. I was reading up on Notre Dame’s recently named head coach head Marcus Freeman and saw that he had a brief career in the NFL. One of his stops was in Buffalo: Buffalo Bills Freeman was signed to the Buffalo Bills practice squad on September 22. He later was released in early October. You can put him along with Kliff Kingsbury in the category of former Buffalo Bills alumni…sort of
  6. Yep I hear you… it’s a huge game. The whole thing if the Bills lose Monday and then against Tampa, they can still finish at 11-6 or 10-7 and probably make the playoffs. If the Bills lose though, I think it will take a mental tool and wouldn’t be surprised the season will start to unravel a bit. Im super nervous but win or lose, it doesn’t really affect my life very much. I keep trying to put things into perspective
  7. They are playing better but they have really yet to get a quality win. They did best Baltimore but it was more of a result of Lamar struggling to handle the blitz
  8. you bring up a good point. The problem with penalties like taunting, roughing the passer, and illegal blocks is that there’s a lot of nuance to each infraction. As a result the calls have been very inconsistent. IMO I think the taunting penalties are an absolute joke because like you said - there’s plenty of “taunting” that doesn’t get called.
  9. The Bills offensive line is not the worst in the NFL. They are average with all 5 starters. The lines they’ve used the past few weeks are probably slightly below average. Mitch Morse is a little above average. Dion and Daryl Williams are not having good season but have performed better the past two years. Brown has shown promised as a rookie I don’t think Feliciano is that great
  10. Only for your Dr. Hap. The stat I was referring to was pressure rate:
  11. I read an interesting breakdown of sacks and pressure surrendered by Dawkins in 2020 vs. 2021 on Twitter the week before the NO game. Surprisingly the numbers were pretty close. The difference IMO is that he’s had more noticeable lows in 2020 than 2021. This of course, was before the Thanksgiving game which was one of his worst.
  12. Well said man… I think the drought did a lot to negatively impact the mindset of the Bills fan base - myself included. Whenever things get tough, there’s an immediate thought that everything will turn to crap. You see this a lot online.
  13. I don’t see any indication that Washington is being blamed for the lack of sacks. There’s really not that much of a drop off from last season. Also the pressures are up, as are turnovers and INT’s. Also I think McDermott sees Washington as a potential DC replacement for Frazier if he takes a HC job
  14. Smoke had two very good seasons in Buffalo and was a huge part in Josh’s development at QB. With that being said, I think the “Bills miss John Brown” crowd is a bit overstated. Their best offensive performances came last season when Brown wasn’t in the lineup. He did run the WR screen very well. Outside of that, I don’t think he’s as missed as some let on
  15. His accountant didn’t forget he was in the league. Agolor is very much over paid
  16. For some reason the McDermott/Frazier coaches defenses always get a lot of pressures but few sacks. Not sure why this is…. In the previous 4 years, there has never been a defender with double digit sacks. The highest was Jordan Phillips in 2019 with 9.5 sacks. The sack leaders in previous years have been very low as well: 2017: Hughes/Lawson 4.0 😳 2018: Hughes 7.0 2019: Phillips 9.5 2020: Addison/Klein 5.0 😳 Currently the leaders are Addison with 4.0 and Rosseau with 3.0. It looks like there’s an excellent chance of another single digit sack leader.
  17. I think they are a better team overall. It doesn’t meant the better always wins, unfortunately. I love McDermott but I think Belichick is still one of the best coaches of all-time. He built his current roster to combat teams like Buffalo and Kansas City. McDermott and the Bills likely knew he was going to gunning for them too. From a matchup standpoint, there’s a lot of concerns. I really do believe this game could come down to turnover differential
  18. I can guarantee he’s going to tested deep at least once by Nelson Agolor. Guaranteed
  19. No… this tells me they Bills have more in confidence in Dane Jackson and Cam Lewis (maybe Nick McLeod) and any other DB on their roster than they do with anyone currently available. This signing is a long shot and I don’t anticipate Harris sees any time
