  1. No correlation there…but this writer has been dogging Josh since he came out of Wyoming. So many Bills fans enjoyed dunking on him on Twitter. It should be noted that Ruiz quite often spoke on racism in the NFL in the past including the infamous pre-draft tweets Allen wrote in high school. IMO I feel he was very much biased toward Josh when evaluating him
  2. Saying that he “struggles with pre-snap” is a critique that he probably could make in 2020 and into the first half of last season. But I think Josh really got better at reading defenses toward the end of the season and eventually audibled or figured out where to go with the ball when facing two high safeties. The rest of his write up makes sense. Josh is not technically perfect but his athletic ability allows him to get away with it.
  3. Like most GM’s, Belichick had his share of hits and misses. It always seemed like NE had additional draft picks, so you might argue he’s missed more than the average GM. Brady helped elevate an average cast of players on offense. Once he left, NE saw how depleted their skills players were in 2020. Rather than rebuild slowly they tried to overhaul the offense in an offseason and missed badly. Belichick’s strength has always been defense. His drafting on defense is better and he seems to always find players he can plug in to become productive.
  4. Could be…neither us watched him much in 2021
  5. IIRC I think the issue that he signed an extension as an RT. They then moved him over to a LT who are paid higher. His argument was that after changing to a more premiere position he should be paid accordingly. To be honest, I think Peters just wanted out of Buffalo and this was how he forced his way out of town. It all goes back to relationships between the front office and players & agents. Brandon, was horrible, Nix and Whaley weren’t great. Beane is excellent. This happened to just about every major name who played in Buffalo and it goes to show how crappy the Bills were run during the final years of Ralph Wilson.
  6. This would be a great move in 2014. Peters is washed…my best friend is an Eagles fan and said he was terrible in 2020. Bitched about him every week and said he should retire. Couldn’t believe he was still playing in 2021.
  7. Gotta cut him…have to
  8. Sounds like the Bills knew about this already…possibly before they cut Haack. So there’s a possibility they investigated it already and still kept Araizia on the team. Beane and McDermott aren’t the type that will takes these kind of chances so maybe there’s more to the story. We don’t know yet
  9. Not the same situation but yeah he could be banished from the league. my point was, he’s not facing criminal charges. Someone alluded to him going to prison - as of now that’s not on the table
  10. This is where I’m at. I see a lot of Bills fans saying “Duke lacrosse.” Also a bad look…we don’t know enough to say this a false accusation
  11. More like the wages-garnished god. He is facing civil…not criminal charges
  12. This is pretty awful if true… If what she says is correct there should be some documentation from the police which should give us more info. But man, this is an awful accusation
  13. Nope… first off contractually I don’t think could make it work. Second, the knock on Golloday has been his inability to create separation. These type of receivers have not done well with Josh
  14. I was just listening to this the other day. Howard and Jeremy sounded really bummed LOL O
  15. Ah ok… I didn’t follow his career too closely but tried to connect the dots when I saw him play last week
  16. It’s insane how many former Bills that Schoen and Daboll have brought to NYG. I watched WV’s own David Sills have a very good game last night and given their bad depth at WR he might make the team
  17. The problem with Cody is that he doesn’t that’s the speed or athleticism to play RT. You can play him at RG and he’ll do a decent job blocking but he struggles in pass protection. I’d have to agree with Thad here in the sense that I think there was a chance the Bills move on from Cody. So rather than eat his salary they get a decent sized pick and clear up a little cap space. A good trade but man what a whiff the selection of Ford was
  18. Highly doubtful. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Barkley play the majority of the game
  19. Agreed…but he lives in Texas for most of the off-season so he probably didn’t put effort or money into that
  20. That is tragic. I didn’t realize he had a brother who played college football. After seeing the headlines, I assumed the brother was one of the two kids his family adopted featured in the embedded video
  21. Rally about sexual abuse…as long as it’s “non violent”
  22. I think the entire idea of Spring football is flawed and always will be. Nearly every Spring league that has started ultimately fails to generate enough interest/revenue to make it sustainable. I will say that The Rocks seems to be taking the right approach with this version of thr XFL in terms of taking time to scout players, hiring execs with NFL experience, and using his connections to sign deals. In the end though, I think football fans enjoy the break from games and that any spring league always comes off as second rate. The only chance for a spring league is to make the produce different from the NFL like an Arena League.
  23. What puzzles me about this is…if you throw an item at a player from the stands, how are you supposed to get it back? Do you plead with a security guard to give it to you? Come on… I hated seeing these videos not just because it’s disrespectful but because the Bills have really been accommodating to signing things for fans. I’ve read reports that Allen, Diggs, Von Miller and Dawson Knox (among others) have spent up to 40 minutes after practice signing for fans. This is rare in the NFL for superstars of that caliber and it shows how the Bills players are appreciative of the fan support. But it seems that because of this, fans expect them to sign items. It feels like they are taking advantage of their generosity. Throwing items at players is so disrespectful Good on Allen for calling out BS behavior
  24. I know a huge Bears fan who speaks of Smith the way some of us talk about Edmunds. He seems to be very much underwhelmed by Roquon
  25. Yeah I thought about Paup too. Still was a good player but never the force he was during his DPOY campaign in 1995
