  1. Exactly…but why leave that out there? Either share or don’t, but teasing it is just lame
  2. Why even bother with posts like this? Either share your story or don’t How was Jim Kelly’s camp? Was it actually helpful for you as a player or more of a chance to rub elbows with NFL stars?
  3. Yes, I’ve met several at event, training camp at Fisher, and autograph shows but also a few random public encounters. Back in the day I ran into Gabe Northern at Eastern Hills Mall. He was freaking huge and stood out like a sore thumb. He also had a pretty nice looking leather jacket. I immediately recognized him and he chatted for a few minutes. Very cool guy that didn’t seem to be bothered that he was recognized. I also got to talk to Dick Jauron at a special Training Camp VIP reception at Fisher. I was not happy with him as coach at the time but he couldn’t have been a nicer and more personable guy. After leaving the event that day I remember feeling pretty good about the direction of the Bills….little did I know!
  4. If NE truly believes Mac is their franchise QB why would they rush him back on the field as opposed to allowing him to heal? To salvage a few wins which might not mean anything at the end of the season? I think Belichick might be feeling the pressure from Kraft
  5. I really like him and thought he did an outstanding job in SF, but yeah he talks a huge game in the press and I don’t think he has the team to back it up.
  6. I was talking to a co-worker who is a big Bills fan. DaQuan is the type of 1TDT that Beane and McDermott have always wanted. They thought they were getting him in Star who massively unperformed on a big deal. Then they hoped Harrison Phillips could be that guy and while he played well at times I think they were looking for more consistent high end play Jones has been what the defense has been missing and I don’t think it’s a surprise that Edmunds, Milano, and even Taron have been flashing a bit more often against the run this season
  7. Many CB’s have made a successful transition to safety as they got older and lost a step, but this isn’t a move you make midsession. Especially for a player coming back off a torn ACL. At this point, keeping Tre on a pitch count is a much better than idea that trying a new position
  8. This is my point. Even if the Bills were to trade for a new RB, I don’t think it makes much of a difference in the run game because of the OL has been.
  9. He said it was for 2 seconds. It sounds more like stinger. He doesn’t think he had a concussion
  10. I’ve seen many Bills fans clamoring to trade for a new running back. I think that the bigger issue is that the offensive line just doesn’t win matchups. Watch how easily other teams are able to pick up 2-3 yards on 3rd and 1 and the Bills struggle to get 1 yard. In fact, the Bills OL is by far the worst run blocking unit in the league. So how is a running back going to fix that? Unless your running back is going to break a run like Saquon Barkley after getting hit in the backfield, I don’t see how a new RB is going to fix the problems on the offensive line.
  11. I wouldn’t put too much stock in this play. It’s like saying Matt Milano ALMOST had an INT. He didn’t make the play… But yeah I’m always concerned with Singletary fumbling and perhaps that’s one reason why coaches are hesitant to make him a true RB1
  12. This is a great sign… typically they don’t make players available for interviews in concussion protocol.
  13. The offensive line was probably the reason the Bills lost the game on Sunday. I know there were 3 backups in but they looked like trash. I really think that this could be their undoing this season…but it seems like when all 5 starters are healthy and in the lineup, they do ok. I’m hoping they can get their act together next week
  14. If your team isn’t good, the #1 see doesn’t mean much. Just ask Tennessee or Green Bay
  15. If there’s one thing about Beane its that he’s not reactive like that. He will make the big move if it makes sense but he’s not going to mortgage the future for one season. With the recent contracts the Bills signed those high round, cost controlled contracts are all that much more important
  16. Who cares? I know I threw a pillow when they lost and only a few people have questioned my mental health!
  17. To be fair… Florio isn’t the only one who has made this comparison. I don’t necessarily agree with the narrative but until they start winning close games, it’s going to be there. And it sucks. With that being said, there is maybe a 99.5% chance that McDermott is the Bills HC next year and beyond. The situation in Denver was very different in a lot of ways - still it was a ballsy call by Elway to get rid of Fox. Beane doesn’t have that power and Terry has such admiration for Sean he wouldn’t fire him unless the team became a train wreck. In all honesty, he’s done an outstanding job building resurrecting this franchise and building a team. But the bottom line is, Buffalo needs to close out these football games or these narratives will hang around
  18. The Bills have not made a significant in-season move to their roster since signing Kelvin Benjamin in 2017 - McDermott & Beane’s first year. The only way I see a trade happening would be if Johnson and/or Hamlin struggles badly
  19. Here’s the crazy thing though… could Hyde be able to return for a playoff run? Playoffs are in 2023? Dr. Chao reported that if it’s a disc surgery, the recovery is 3-4 months which would put him on track…possibly
  20. Im pretty sure this is legit. It’s terrible news - he must have a herniated disc in his neck that will require surgery
  21. Al Good stuff…I think everyone jumping to “career ending” is making a helluva leap
  22. I would say so…I’ve also seen people jumping to the conclusion that it is season or career ending. I’m not so sure about that, considering McDermott said he avoided major injury. However, we could be looking at seeing Jaquan Johnson for a few weeks. There are worse players that you could put on the field as a backup safety
  23. I saw someone say that “only the Bills can stop the Bills” and I do think that’s true. Allen is getting to the point where he’s combating everything a defense does. I hate to say it but he’s starting to get the Mahomes treatment…as well as similar results: - Drop 7 or 8 in coverage - run the ball versus a light box - Rush the passer - dump the ball off quickly - Cover 2 protecting deep - dink and dunk to move the secondary up. - blitz - good luck I think unforced errors is what can hurt the offense - INT’s, fumbled, missed blocks etc. With that being said I don’t think they are invincible…but for a team to beat them they will either need to score points or the Bills will really have to turn the ball over.
