  1. He had just a horrible game between causing the fumble, dropping a pass, and stumbling in the end zone. At the same time, he’s shown that he can step up in big moments. But yeah I think Shakir is going to take some of his snaps
  2. Interesting…how was he bad? No push up the middle? I know the running game wasn’t much of a factor
  3. I’m skeptical of anything that a fan site posts - especially when it comes to airport visits - until it has been verified by the local press. He’s saying he isn’t a diva and that he cares more about winning than anything else
  4. I love all of these ideas and would not be surprised if they were saving some of the playbook specifically for KC or later in the season. The Bills, perhaps more than other teams, seem to be playing the long game
  5. I think it has to do with what happened with Tua. They wanted to take extra precaution. This week Isaiah said he was disappointed they wouldn’t let him play Sunday
  6. Oh well.. it gave you cool stories like this one! I always wonder what happened to the media content during the Super Bowl years. My guess is that because it had to be stored on physical cassettes or tapes a fair amount was just recorded over? I would love for local TV and radio stations to release whatever footage they still have for old-time Bills fans like us.
  7. The bowling ball shot is so disgusting. You could retire the entire Pinto Ron tailgate antics and I wouldn’t miss them
  8. According to Greg from Cover 1, the Bills can get McCaffrey for relatively cheap, but I don’t see the Bills making the move:
  9. It seems like trade deadline is a huge topic here ever year and every year no move is ever made. I don’t expect that to change this year. The Giants have a shot at a wild card spot and they aren’t trading Barkley. Carolina won’t give away McCaffrey for cheap and I don’t get the impression Beane wants to trade away a high pick for him. In the end, I don’t see any moves being made
  10. Yeah… I mean it’s hard to tell because while he has played well, he was pressed into playing due to injury. But once the WR crew returns closer to full health, his role will be telling
  11. Yeah that’s a good point. The other thing to consider though, is that Josiah Anderson, who is close with OBJ, seemed to indicate that he is interested in coming back to NYG. She also refuted claims that it wasn’t more than a recruiting visit, though I still don’t believe it was officially reported as a FA visit. If the Giants can somehow split with Dalls/Philly, I think they have a shot at the WC, and given their meh WR crew, the move to NJ might make sense
  12. I can’t quite figure out whether OBJ rumors are legit. If the Bills sign him, he’s going to likely bump Shakir or Crowder (once he returns) off the roster. If you were going to add to a position group on the roster, you otherwise wouldn’t add to WR. Im not sure if OBJ is as big of a priority as Von Miller makes you believe but I guess we’ll see. He’ll be on IR all season long
  13. They really aren’t the walking wounded. A number of players should back next week near full health leaving the injury list at Hyde, Kumerow, Benford and Crowder
  14. Is the next evolution as starting MLB?
  15. I do wonder what effect the wind had on the passing game. The end zone throw to Diggs looked like the ball sailed on him. The end zone INT looked like he just didn’t get the ball high end for Davis to have a chance.
  16. It seemed to me from the start Romo had a strong feeling that the game was going to be one-sided - which is usually on brand for him. He makes jokes in these games, when the outcome is decided but there’s still a long portion to go. After the Morris fumble he joked “well, these are how big comebacks start… 😂
  17. I do agree about the current Bills team. But I think part of the reason for the difference is that 30 years ago there was noaccountability and players could be jerks in public. In 2022, with social media/internet/cameras everywhere you can’t get away with what you used to. Plus our society is way more litigious. Because of pressure from social media, players are at risk of losing sponsorships and other financial deals. The NFL and player agents have been much more proactive in training players how to cultivate a positive public persona. So in many cases players have been trained with how to handle themselves in public situations that won’t bring them bad press.
  18. Not having Poyer available on Sunday is going to hurt the Bills just like it against Miami
  19. I agree…many of us weren’t professional athletes but still were immature in our younger years and would probably struggle with being a professional athlete in our 20’s. It was likely even harder decades ago before so much training and dialogue was available through sports agency. I just have an issue with people characterizing and making judgements on Kelly by his actions 30-40 years ago. I also don’t care for people trying to bash him with discreet statement without providing details or context.
  20. Not as annoying as people saying: “I met Jim Kelly once 30 years ago. Let’s just say it was not good. I’ll leave it at that.”
  21. My uncle claims to have met many members of the late 80’s Bills teams at Sundowners in NF LOL
  22. Even back in McGee’s playing days, I’d be curious to see how much he considers “a small monthly allowance” 😂
