  1. I don’t like it either. AJ is a really bad run defender and has been a liability at times so the team has to play him situationally.
  2. Floyd’s production came in spurts and early in the season. 8 of his sacks came in 4 games. He never had a sack in December or January when the team needed him. Dont get me wrong. He’s a good vet to have on defense and a great signing by Beane. Not at $10M a season.
  3. How many years are we gonna use this excuse for? It’s about four right now
  4. AJ is a decent pass rusher but he’s horrendous against a run…a big liability. So I hope that whatever they pay him isn’t crazy.
  5. We don’t even know what kind of money Ridley is getting
  6. Look for the Bills to draft a WR in the first round and maybe another. I think they’ll likely sign an undervalued player while potentially bringing back a player like Trent Sherfield for ST/WR6
  7. The comment was “Ridley is a downgrade from Davis.” I’m saying I’d rather have Calvin Ridley than Gabe Davis at WR. They downgraded the WR2 position from one season ago
  8. You’re the one who got butthurt over the fact that I DARE question the credibility of an “insider” on a message board.
  9. Going from Ridley to Davis seems like a downgrade to me.
  10. Between Knox and Von it certainly seems that Beane is leveraging the threat of a release against the players
  11. Thanks for sharing actual examples rather than just screaming at me. Appreciate that
  12. Ok can you give me some examples of what he’s called out? I haven’t been following this place too closely - just want to know
  13. Ok so no evidence..got it
  14. I can see that as well
  15. Really? What evidence has there been? I must have missed that
  16. Who told you this?
  17. I don’t buy that. The Bills could have extended him for 2-3 years. They didn’t want to likely because of his age and injury history.
  18. Shouldn’t this go in the Mitch Morse released thread?
  19. That’s fine… Neal can’t really play defense. He’s a decent special teams player that was getting paid like a top tier one.
  20. Ed Oliver is a good player. He’s not anywhere close to elite. He will feast on inferior talent but when facing top interior line play he disappears like he did against Kansas City If you watched that game, it was clear Allen and maybe Shakir were the only guys that showed up to play. That’s why I can understand the incorrect narrative as annoying. It was Allen disappointing as much as it was the rest of his teammates and coaches
  21. To be honest…not really. You have Josh Allen and no one else on offense and that is a major problem. Diggs? Watch the game against Kansas City and tell me he’s elite. Kincaid has the chance to be elite, but he’s not there yet. Defensively I’d argue that Milano is/was elite and Taron Johnson is among the top NCB’s in the league. So that means the Bills have 3 at most. Here’s where you can fault Brandon Beane and maybe McDermott as well. They’ve drafted and signed lots of “solid” player and only a few busts which is good. But you need a few more “elite” players to get over the hump. All of the 6 out of 7 players you listed from KC were draft picks - including 3 draft picks added over the past 4 seasons. 3 of the 7 SF players you listed (and don’t think all 7 are “elite”) were acquired through FA/trade. The Bills have not landed high end talent either through FA or the draft and it’s one area that’s holding them back.
  22. Poor analogy. The only similarity is that they both play LT. It appears that Dion loves the team, wants to stay in Buffalo but is on the final year of his deal. Peters signed a new contract, but wasn’t happy in Buffalo, so he demanded a new deal using the rationale that he switched to LT. it was a tactic to get out of Buffalo and it worked.
  23. I think he was in play the whole time
