  1. Nah it was a Florida address. I remember you swung the ban hammer very swiftly
  2. I remember you from the old BBMB. We’re you the one who banned me for calling Ralph Wilson a “cheapskate” or Chris Brown “baldy?” Once I remember a poster shared your address because he was so mad at you
  3. That was where I got my start with message boards and it was quite and adventure. I used to regularly get suspended for criticizing the Bills - this was during the drought years so there was plenty of criticizing. My claim to face once I called Ralph Wilson a “cheapskate” for hiring Dick Jauron. That was a suspension. Chris Brown used to write the most patronizing articles in defense of Bills coaches/GMs. They were automatically posted at the top of the MB. I once said something like “No one wants to read your work baldy.” That was a suspension. There are a few moderators from BBMB that post on here. I know one was T&C who was notorious for throwing his weight around. Another moderator wrote a cool thread here about his experience. I forget what he said, but basically the team was very concerned about the MB and they were under pressure to keep it clean. They also weren’t told in advance that the board was shutting down
  4. I think you draft a C/G who can play next to Morse for at least one season before cutting him. You also need to spend money on legitimate competition for Spencer Brown. Quessenberry isn’t good enough. As far as the signing of Jakobi Meyers, I like him a lot as a player but he’s more of a slot receiver. It seems like we need someone who can play out the outside because I’m not sure the Bills will re-sign Gabe after next year. Who?
  5. This is true. Though I think he had a hand in a lot of the draft picks - especially on defense so he does bear some of that blame. Still I think as the year progressed and injuries to key players happened, the roster wasn’t as loaded as we thought pre-season. The areas which were neglected - offensive line, CB, and WR depth came back to bite us in the ass
  6. That because Bills don’t really have a power running game and the offensive line couldn’t block for our finned passing game
  7. McDermott didn’t commit to either coordinator. I think there’s a decent chance 1 will be gone. I think it might be Dorsey
  8. I don’t think so. It’s the whole offense from playing calling to OL and maybe a little Josh
  9. It’s a bad comparison. He’s not Marvin Lewis.
  10. Losing Von was tremendous though. The Bills lost the one guy who was supposed to put them over the edge. You have to have an element of luck to win the Super Bowl - especially w/ injuries, and that loss is extremely unlucky
  11. I agree… there is not way that the ankle isn’t going to effect him. Both Cincy or Buffalo will put forth a better defensive effort than Jacksonville did
  12. He’s not the brightest, considering his own team is also selling tickets to the AFCCG in Cincy against Jacksonville
  13. Yeah very true. It’s a tough balancing act. There were a few balls like the INT that he didn’t need to throw. The Bills were up 17-3 and doing well. He would have been better served moving the chains. Maybe hold off on the killshot there…but you are right we don’t want him not trying when it is advantageous.
  14. It’s a decent write-up but the solution is a bit more challenging. We know the answer isn’t for Josh to simply start dumping the ball down and not take deep shots. He just needs to be a bit more opportunistic
  15. I kind of admire Boyer and don’t think he’s a terrible DC. He knew he was cooked when he played the Bills yesterday so he threw everything he could at Josh. The turnovers helped Miami stay close.
  16. It’s a given they will need to replace Saffold either through FA or the draft. Brown is the question mark. He has been inconsistent for nearly 2 seasons…do they fish or cut bait? In the past they have given prospects many chance to succeed. My guess is they bring in a veteran RT - maybe a small step about a Quessenberry to push him and potentially start if necessary.
  17. Ever notice how NE’s own Wickersham always picks against the Bills? He picked Miami last week…
  18. He was a trainwreck as head coach, though he did have his moments as OC in Buffalo and Jacksonville. The biggest knock on him was that he never seemed to be able to sustain the success that he had. Hitching his wagon to a bad coach like Doug Marrone doesn’t help. Not sure if he has ever lived up to his billing as the offensive “genius.” If his main task is going to be to save Zach Wilson…he’s not the man for the job
  19. Cover 1 recently did an extensive breakdown of the Bills-Dolphins game. For me, it helped change the narrative about the game. 1. Not all deep throws were bad decisions but the execution could have been better. .They highlighted some of the situations when it made more sense for Josh to throw deep in advantageous matchups with Diggs/Davis. He did bypass check downs but many times these were good decisions. The 4Q deep throw the Davis wasn’t a poor decision…but an underthrow. He had a few steps on the corner. The second deep pass was more of a throwaway due to a good play design by Miami. 2. The INT was a bit too greedy but not an entirely terrible decision Brown was open deep but Josh threw the ball inside which helped out Howard. A better ball to the outside might get completed. Here’s an example where he should have taken the check down. Bills were up 17-3 and rolling. Throw was on 1st and 10. No reason to go for the kill shot there. 3. The fumble was Josh’s fault Josh knew pressure was coming and wanted to go to Diggs. Engram dropped back to take away the curl. The hot read for Josh was to throw to Singletary. Instead he pulled the ball down and attempted to get away from Rowe which caused the fumble and TD. If he just goes down for the sack, he doesn’t fumble. 4. Miami’s YOLO defensive gamble worked Credit to Miami. They tried to smother Josh with pressure leaving their secondary vulnerable. They got just enough breaks to make it work. It should be noted though, that it was a bit flukey. Between the INT’s, and drops. Josh easily could have passed for over 400 yards and Buffalo could have scored 40-50 points easy. But that didn’t happen and Miami baited Allen into mistakes shortening the field for the offense several times. It also helped playing the Bills for a 3rd time as they were well prepared to defend Josh on the run - another reason why divisional opponents are hard to play. If you watch the game, you’ll see that Allen played pretty well and made a lot of big time throws. He definitely was not reckless, though I think he could have done a better job with knowing when to go deep, when to check down, and when to outright bail and live another day. He also made a few mistakes which turned out to be extremely costly. But IMO it seems like things he can learn from. But who knows? I’ve been wrong before 😂
  20. I partly agree. I think he has an excellent offensive mind for play design and offensive scheme. He would scheme players wide open in his offense creating easy throws for Tua. As far as a head coach I think the jury is still out. He had some very bad luck with injuries, which is a factor. But then again he went 1-5 down the stretch, losing almost every must win game along the way. Yes he made the playoffs but the team spent a ton of money and draft picks spent on players this season, and yet he was unable to build off the 9-8 record which Brian Flores was fired for. Then there are his antics like “I wish were colder” that just made him look goofy. Someone in the media said he was kind of like Rex Ryan in that regard, and it’s tough to disagree. He is very young though and has time to improve
  21. I was gonna beat the Bills and then I got high I was gonna sack Josh Allen too and then I got high Now I’m on the couch and I know why Because I got high Because I got high Because I got high
  22. I think it’s a coin flip. Either team can win. I’ll say 50%
