Just like Buffalo (had they built a dome), the chances of Cleveland hosting a Super Bowl is a long shot. The accommodations and infrastructure would be huge question marks. Plus, no one wants to fly into Cleveland in February. The league seems very set on have a desirable “Super Bowl experience.” I know Detroit hosted one but that was 2 decades ago.

The helmet is fine… I’d like to see it with the charging buffalo though. The bigger issue is the black helmet with the red uniform. It just doesn’t match. The Bills are long overdue for a 90’s throwback uniform

Tucker is probably #2. I think Butker is better. Still he’s one of the two kickers in the NFL that you trust without hesitation when the game’s on the line.

Say what you will about his views, he’s the best kicker in the league - especially when the game’s on the line.

He did an interview with Kay Adams and said something like he could have an INT against Buffalo and the his former teammates on the sidelines would be cheering for his. This is so true and IMO it’s the same for the fans of Buffalo. Unfortunately because of his contract and injuries, the Bills had to cut him loose. It sucks but it had to happen

What I don’t understand is, what was the point of signing him to a three-year contract versus the typical one-year deals most players sign? The Bills coaches have to know that Gable was a long term project and likely not going to make the roster this season. But if they cut him and re-sign him to the PS it’s a one-year deal again.

You kind of glanced over Morris’s ST ability. He’s a huge part of that unit and IMO it might be the biggest reason why he wins the job. As far as Davidson, unless he shows out in the preseason there’s a decent chance they can sneak him on the PS. If you’re the TE3, you need to contribute on Special Teams which is a strength of Morris. I don’t think Davidson offers nearly as much which could be a deciding factor

I don’t get how Miami can be spending this much money on QB and 2 WRs without being in cap hell

I thought the offense played kind of crappy. More picks than you’d expect, though 2 bounced off of WR’s hands

He did something similar on the Patriots website each week where he broke down a selected play. He’s actually very good at this, though he was very rigid and serious. I’m sure the is new show will allow him to be a little more relaxed

The team was far from listless against Miami. Go back and watch the game. Josh consistently put them in a bad position with turnovers and taking horrible sacks. The narrative that Skylar Thompson did anything to beat them is pure bunk. He was 18/45 for 220 yards and a 44 rating. Hill and Waddle were held in check. There was 1 Miami TD drive of 75 yards. The rest of their points came off Allen turnovers, including a fumble return for a TD. If you remember they were toasting Miami 17-3 and cruising before he got reckless. Not sure if it was related to Damar, personal situations or what but Josh’s playoff games in 2022 were uncharacteristically bad and nearly cost them the game against Miami.

My bad… I remembered it incorrectly. But the Bills did start to get some momentum on offense and that fumble by Kincaid was huge.

The Bills caught some momentum late and were a Dalton Kincaid fumble in the red zone away from taking the lead. Then they were a missed Von Miller tackle away, from getting the ball back for a chance to win late in the game. The Bills have struggled to stop Burrow/Chase/Higgins as most teams have, yet they have up surrendered 27 and 24 points. The offense has yet to score over 20 bs. Lou Anarumo’s defense

Fans aren’t the one that gets to fire McDermott. The guy who actually can determine his fate loves and admire him. Every Buffalo beat reporter will tell, sans a major catastrophe, McDermott is one the safest coaches in the league.

Josh was Beane and McDermott. Terry allegedly loved Mahomes in 2017.

I don’t think it’s a certainty that he turns into the same QB in Denver. In 2018, the HC was Vance Joseph - a terrible head coach and an average Defensive Coordinator on a good day. OC was mediocre Bill Musgrave who would be out of the NFL after 2018. QB Coach was the unspectacular Mike Sullivan. The roster on offense was terrible. Beane and McDermott, scouted, drafted and set up a good multi-year plan to develop a franchise QB. Elway tried too with Paxton Lynch and failed badly.

Still 6 weeks until Week 1. Hopefully it doesn’t happen.

You think they keep 5 safeties though? I think the only way he makes the 53 is if one of the safeties ends up on IR.

Joe is right. With Edwards facing a multi-week absence Jackson is the replacement. I’d be surprised if he’s on the roster Week 1.

You’re not in Fredonia anymore! Getting autographs is extremely rare unless you have VIP access on the field. If you’re lucky players will stop by the bleachers on the far side to sign. But there are so many people it’s nearly impossible to get autographs otherwise, like it was at Fred.

Josh was the one who help recruit. When he wants a WR that’s reasonable to attain (I.e. Beasley, Brown, Coleman) Beane usually gets him

I used the same exact example you did. Hollins is not getting cut, so just like Allen or Oliver he’s not even candidate for this topic.
