  1. I didn’t want him to be traded but was down on him after he choked against KC in the playoffs. My hope was draft a top WR to play 1 season with Diggs and move on. This was my main gripe as well. It usually takes a rookie a season or two before they can be a dependable target. I wanted them to go back-to-back picks at WR
  2. This was always a concern with the WR room and the Bills have no one else to blame but themselves: Shakir - only WR that can separate (now injured) Coleman - doesn’t separate/rookie Hollins - doesn’t separate Samuel - non factor MVS - cooked When the Bills traded Diggs we thought Beane had something in mind to replace him. Maybe trade for Brandon Auiyuk or trading up trading up for Rome Odunze of Brian Thomas Jr. NOPE…just Keon Coleman and MVS
  3. Hollins wasn’t really open which makes the play that much more brutal
  4. He really wasn’t playing that good and only completed short passes. He also barely put any points on the board. The truth is Skyler is probably more of a 3rd string QB and Miami fans are killing Grier and McDaniel for that. To be fair though, many teams - including this years Bills team would probably be sunk with their backup QB playing meaningful snaps
  5. Sounds like McCourtey thinking out. There’s zero chance Wilson is part of any trade. I can see him being quietly unhappy if Adams takes his role but what can he really do? Also as far Mike Williams being “explosive” he has 8 catches on the season and struggled to get in the field. They’d have no problem taking snaps away from Wilson, Williams or Lizard if it meant getting Adams in the building.
  6. I think overall Hamlin and Rapp been ok. No impact plays really but also no glaring mistakes. The way Hamlin is playing reminds me a lot of 2022. I think Babich and McDermott have been able to utilize them in C2 to protect against the big play. I also think that the front 4 who had been generated good pressure prior to week 4 has helped a lot. With that being said, I think there are some limitations with both players and a big reason why the team will likely give more time to Bishop and likely Edwards as well. The safeties were being used deep to protect against big play. McDermott normally has been very effective coaching against McDaniel’s offense. Bills were ok giving up yards underneath in that game
  7. The Dolphins put themselves in a bad spot with Tua this summer. Given his injury history and decline late last season, I think it’s fair to believe they’d prefer to wait a season. But the team kind of decided to go “all in” again this season and Tua had the leverage, so they crossed their fingers and pulled the trigger.
  8. Worthy is pretty much the WR we thought he would be in the Kansas City offense. The lamenting from some Bills fans is ridiculous. It’s interesting how with the WR injuries in KC, everyone is talking about making a trade. I think it speaks volumes to Worthy’s role in this offense. With that being said, I wasn’t crazy with how the Bills approached the WR position and would love for the team to have someone that can threaten to go deep like Worthy He passed the test by catching 3 balls 👍🏻
  9. Why would a looming suspension affect the game on Sunday? Von didn’t play because the Ravens never had a 3rd down! Why would a looming suspension affect the game on Sunday? Von didn’t play because the Ravens never had a 3rd down!
  10. There’s a few issues on this play and Oliver is only part of it - I think the bigger problem is that he has a way of just disappearing in big games. Far too often he’s had a stat line on 0’s
  11. At the rate things are going now, Saleh and Douglas are getting fired at the end of the season. Even if they make it into the playoffs, the expectation was championships since the Rodgers signing. if Raiders are serious about tradings Adams, I have no doubt that he ends up on the Jets
  12. It was essentially the same exact game plan Indy used against Buffalo in 2021. Oh yeah… also the last time they were blown out. Bills defense figured it out then and I think the DL is better this year.
  13. Yeah, my only concern about Coleman is that he wins downfield with contested catches and I’m not sure how sustainable that will be. Either way, we need to see more snaps from Coleman, Shakir, and Kincaid and less of Hollins, MVS and Knox He played 42% of snaps and Hollins played 61%. Coleman was at 73% and Shakir at 59% partly due to injury.
  14. He wasn’t always in a spy role. Don’t be fooled Oliver had a bad game, as did DaQuan and the rest of the DL. Here he gets blasted out of the picture on this wham block. Reminds me of the Indy game from a few years back.
  15. Every loss is on coaching and every win is on the players…makes sense
  16. The Ravens confused Josh and OL with their pressure - mostly without blitzing much. But at the end of Sunday, Josh had the 3rd longest time to throw. While there was pressure Josh wasn’t getting the ball out like he did in past weeks. Baltimore covered everything short and dared the Bills to throw deep and make their WR’s win. They couldn’t do it. This is going to be a problem throughout the season with this WR room. Shakir is their best WR but doesn’t threaten downfield. Teams are going to put their best defender like Humphrey to cover him. When you take Shakir out of the equation the options are four receivers in Coleman, Hollins, Samuel and MVS who don’t separate.
  17. He‘s mostly a special teamer that has played decent as a starter at times. The past few games make it pretty obvious that they need more from the position. I would be surprised if Mike Edwards didn’t get some snaps
  18. He had a couple bad missed tackles for sure. Overall though, he’s been average. There’s a reason why Cam is a backup and not a starting NCB. Fortunately Johnson will be back soon
  19. He’s putting up WR2 numbers
  20. He said it was his lower back in the press conference
  21. When they fell behind early, there were times when Josh had time in the pocket and couldn’t find anyone. Also for a team that plays cover 2 shell it didn’t look like the Bills had receivers open underneath
  22. He wasn’t crapping on Shakir. I get what’s he means. Shakir is a good slot WR but not good enough to be the first option in a passing attack. The Bills need more pieces than just him.
  23. It’s not a dumpster fire but what I saw tonight was a WR group that’s extremely limited in certain game scripts. This was my biggest concern with how the position was addressed. Tonight the Bills fell behind and they needed to get open deep downfield and really no one could. I was fine with moving on from Diggs but always felt that the Bills didn’t do enough to replace him.
  24. I have the same concern at WR as you do and was hoping it wouldn’t come to this. But as pressures as Josh was today there were also times when no one was open downfield and this is a major concern to me. Shakir is a good receiver but outside of him, you have a bunch of JAGs at WR. Coleman is a rookie so I’ll give him a pass. But the Bills are getting nothing from Samuel, MVS or Hollins at WR. The lack of overall talent at WR bit them in the ass today and I worry it becomes a trend this year
  25. It just seemed too random for it not to signal “trick play” to the defense. Samuel never lines up in wildcat and Josh never is out wide. The execution was terrible but so was this play call
