  1. You sure about that? Their secondary gives up more yards to WR’s than any team in the NFL. Teams are going to move the ball on Baltimore through the air in the postseason. If you think there‘s any chance Terry is going to fire McDermott after a playoff exist, please study the current state of the Buffalo Sabres. McDermott is safer than anyone at One Bills Drive not named Josh Allen.
  2. This is true and perhaps that’s the problem because McDermott really has never had a great 1 Tech. The closest has been Star Lotulelei who was average at best and maybe DaQuan Jones for 4 games last season.
  3. There’s a common behavior among some Bills fans - whenever a former player has a modicum of success, it elicits extreme lament and cognitive dissonance resulting in statements like: ”WE NEVER SHOULD HAVE TRADED HIM.” It doesn’t matter if it’s Xavier Worthy, Isaiah Hodgins, Tim Settle, Tyrod Taylor, John Feliciano etc. This thread is a prime example of this behavior
  4. This is the move I wanted Beane to make and I thought Thomas closer to the Nabers, Odunze, Harrison Jr than he was the second tier of WR’s. It makes you wonder whether they actually had an opportunity to trade up high enough for him, or whether they deemed the price was too high.
  5. Keon has almost as many yards as Worthy does
  6. I’m not crying about Xavier Worthy. He’s a good gadget player and we all knew Reid would utilize him well, which he has especially around the goal line. But he’s far from setting the NFL on fire and shouldn’t be someone you pine over like this. He’s mostly catching shorter passes like a gadget guy would. As far Coleman, informed fans knew he was a workin progress. If you thought he’d step in as a rookie and light the NFL up, then your expectations weren’t realistic. He needed a LOT of work on his route running and that would take time. But I found it fascinating that Keon beat one of the best man corners in the NFL over the past two months in Christian Gonzalez on a fly route. Still Keon has almost as many yards and TD’s as Worthy does despite playing 5 fewer games and getting half as many targets: Worthy 59 REC 638 YDS 10.8 YPC 6TD Coleman 24 REC 498 YDS 20.8 YPC 3 TD So I’m not sure why you’re carrying on like this. Dry your eyes, solider
  7. I’m usually wrong so I don’t get a chance to take a victory lap but I was pretty spot on when it came to Houston. This is a team that was considered to be a AFC contender and some regarded their QB among the top 5 best in the NFL 🤣🤣🤣 Despite their record - due mostly to playing in the worst conference in the AFC - they were never serious. Whenever they had to show they were a great team they pupped the bed. Their best win was Week 4 against Buffalo and took some bad play calling and a 59 yard FG to win that game. Also Josh and the offense was severely hindered by his receivers. Aside from that you have the win against 7-8 Miami. Countless bad performances this season against Minnesota, Detroit, NYJ, TEN, KC and now BAL. They had some tough injuries on offense with Collins, Diggs, and Dell all out at different times. Every team has injuries. It sucks but not bad enough to get spanked 31-2 in a “playoff” atmosphere. Houston might be the 4th seed but they are probably the weakest team in the playoffs and are poorly coached…and yes horrendously overrated. Bobby Slowik, DeMeco Ryans, and CJ Stroud. Three most overrated players on the Texans and in the NFL Or Ryans just plain sucks as a head coach?
  8. This is exactly right. Results from past games don’t usually indicate future performances - especially in the playoffs
  9. Yes they totally can. Each game will be tough. Even if Denver gets in, I feel that Sean Payton is going to try his damndest to exploit the weakness of the Bills defense - as will every other OC. It won’t be easy but it can be done. Also the same people who can’t see Buffalo getting by Baltimore were the ones who said they Bills couldn’t beat the Chiefs. And the ones who said Buffalo couldn’t run the table last season
  10. TBH I feel the talent on the respective teams along with team record is the needle mover with MVP. Everyone knows Lamar plays at MVP level. Josh had been close proved it this year. I think he edges Lamar this season but we’ll see.
  11. If Josh wins MVP great. If he doesn’t. Great. 1 accolades trumps them all…Super Bowl champion
  12. I tried tell you all they were an overrated defense. I said they were two weeks ago and you debated me on that. Besides, I thought injuries were no excuse when Buffalo was missing 3/4 members of their secondary
  13. How bout that Houston defense though 🤣 Come on man, they suck big time
  14. Well looks like Buffalo will have beat the best to be the best. Baltimore and KC…. Here we come
  15. I would like that award, yes.
  16. Yes @Mikie2times and @LABILLBACKER were fighting me on this.
  17. I tried telling you all that Houston sucks
  18. I’ve said this for weeks now. Houston’s defense is an overrated piece of snot.
  19. Yes… LAC, BAL and DEN have to win out. PIT loses out and drops to #7 behind DEN (6) and LAC (5)
  20. LOL I was told McDermott’s defense hasn’t beaten any good offenses this season and that Kansas City doesn’t count!
  21. Merry Christmas to everyone here…including the select few that disagree with my Bills takes! It’s all good here. Enjoy talking football with this group
  22. Surely he will check his bank account the next Bills playoff game versus a good QB, then go to the Sportsbook and bet 2X that amount on Buffalo losing. He has seen the outcome already.
  23. The 3 Ghosts of Defense: @Mikie2times @LABILLBACKER @SoCal Deek
  24. Pretty sure I mentioned Spector. Maybe it was in a different thread. NE definitely went after Spector, but they also targeted Bishop and Elam as well. I don’t think either of these instances had anything to do with Spector’s struggles
  25. Finally a logical well-balanced take
