Early in the season is when he’s at his most dangerous -
8-18-20 Any Training camp news?
JohnNord replied to Don Otreply's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Sounds like an up and down day for Allen. Missed some throws but made a few nice ones. Diggs and Moss have been as good as advertised -

Who is Ranting Ron? His name has been coming up a lot online in Bills Twitter -
There was no chance of that happening. Gore looked great when the season began he straight-up sucked toward the end. How many times did he need to see Gore run right into defenders at the LOS for no gain? Is the lone partially to blame? Probably, but so was Gore’s straight ahead running style. Singletary had more success running behind the same line.

Hogan developed into a good complimentary WR but I think injuries and age have taken a toll on him. Not playing with the greatest QB ever probably doesn’t help your production either. Probably not a bad signing for a street FA in August, but then again - there’s a reason he was a street FA in August

It’s going to be tough for sure, especially since there’s no preseason and the fact that some of the Bills DE can move to inside. With Star our this year, there might be chance if they can beat out Vincent Taylor as a 4th DT. I think a lot depends on the health of Harrison Phillips...and whether they want to keep 4 DT’s on the roster

Josh Allen’s offense vs Sam Darnold’s offense

That’s the calculated risk Beane took. He traded a first-round pick in exchange for a proven WR in Diggs. -
Chiefs and Kelce agree to 4 yr 57 million contract extension
JohnNord replied to Greg S's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
At some point though isn’t it going to catch up to them? It seems like a lot of players signed contracts that were very team friendly in the first year -

At what point is KC going to have salary cap problems? It seems like they are giving everyone monster contracts -
NFL officials are also opting out this year
JohnNord replied to Greg S's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It makes sense. The NFL isn’t their full-time gig. It’s probably a lot of fun for them and pays well, but I can see them not thinking it’s worth the risk -
Bills coaches called Joe Gibbs for advice
JohnNord replied to nucci's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Right but it seems like this kind of thing is pretty common in the NFL. Josh Allen said that at his press conference he reached out to Drew Brees and Peyton Manning. I think Manning himself said that he consulted with a number of QB’s in the offseason. I just didn’t think reaching out to Joe Gibbs was that big of a story. Maybe it’s just me -

Not sure how this is newsworthy -
Hopefully Chris Brown was not signed to a multi-year contract extension. Seriously though, McDermott has made such a big impact on the organization behind-the-scenes and on the field. This was the only decision to make

Ed Oliver interview - NFL put him in the drug program?
JohnNord replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Something doesn’t add up... either Ed was racially profiled (which he kind of denied) or there’s more to the story that he isn’t sharing. Either way, it doesn’t matter. It sounds like he’s moved on. He actually seems like a really cool guy that would be fun to be around -
I think it’s a salary issue. Plus we don’t know what type of shape he reported at. There could be a lot of factors

He was supposed to be the WR on the roster that could make contested catches. He missed some huge opportunities in the playoff game versus Houston. That’s why I think he’s on the outside looking in given who the WR room.

Duuuuuuuke I really his story but without a preseason it’s going to make it tough for him to make the team.
