  1. It’s going to be tough for sure, especially since there’s no preseason and the fact that some of the Bills DE can move to inside. With Star our this year, there might be chance if they can beat out Vincent Taylor as a 4th DT. I think a lot depends on the health of Harrison Phillips...and whether they want to keep 4 DT’s on the roster
  2. Im kind of surprised they released Easley. I liked him last preseason and the Bills kept him on the PS. I thought that he had the potential to be a decent slot WR down the line.
  3. That’s the calculated risk Beane took. He traded a first-round pick in exchange for a proven WR in Diggs.
  4. At some point though isn’t it going to catch up to them? It seems like a lot of players signed contracts that were very team friendly in the first year
  5. Interesting viewpoint from Sal a few weeks ago. He said that Motor was close to breaking longer runs. He was one player away in some cases. If he’s right it’s great news because the knock on him was that he didn’t have the speed to bust a long run
  6. At what point is KC going to have salary cap problems? It seems like they are giving everyone monster contracts
  7. It makes sense. The NFL isn’t their full-time gig. It’s probably a lot of fun for them and pays well, but I can see them not thinking it’s worth the risk
  8. Right but it seems like this kind of thing is pretty common in the NFL. Josh Allen said that at his press conference he reached out to Drew Brees and Peyton Manning. I think Manning himself said that he consulted with a number of QB’s in the offseason. I just didn’t think reaching out to Joe Gibbs was that big of a story. Maybe it’s just me
  9. 50% of 80,000 is around 40,000 which would be one of the largest indoor gatherings (I know they can retract the roof) in the US for quite some time
  10. Hopefully Chris Brown was not signed to a multi-year contract extension. Seriously though, McDermott has made such a big impact on the organization behind-the-scenes and on the field. This was the only decision to make
  11. Something doesn’t add up... either Ed was racially profiled (which he kind of denied) or there’s more to the story that he isn’t sharing. Either way, it doesn’t matter. It sounds like he’s moved on. He actually seems like a really cool guy that would be fun to be around
  12. I think it’s a salary issue. Plus we don’t know what type of shape he reported at. There could be a lot of factors
  13. He was supposed to be the WR on the roster that could make contested catches. He missed some huge opportunities in the playoff game versus Houston. That’s why I think he’s on the outside looking in given who the WR room.
  14. Duuuuuuuke I really his story but without a preseason it’s going to make it tough for him to make the team.
  15. Not just money but also control after Tom Donahoe did a ***** job both building the team and running the org. From that moment on, Ralph would only hire people he knew or worked worked with in the past as GM in Marv, Russ Brandon, and Buddy Nix. That’s your drought, people
  16. I really like Marcel - he seems like a real good guy. But you could tell that he was extremely offended. by Fromm’s comments in the text messages back in June. In terms of Fromm, he might be correct that his answer could have directly addressed some of the concerns that critics like Marcel said about his text messages. I’m guessing that Fromm didn’t want to to go anywhere near making a public comment on the topic of racism for fear of saying the wrong thing.
  17. The dude loves his family - no doubt. Gotta love his heart. But I thought there was way too much at stake for his family’s future to sit out this season. He talked about it only supporting his immediate family but also financing some businesses for his immediate family/friends (why does this not sound like it will end well???). He’s a smart guy - Sitting out this season would have made the financial part more challenging
  18. KC had a good team that year. They owned Buffalo bad on a Monday Night game at Arrowhead when Christian Okoye plowed through a tired defense. If he doesn’t get hurt that year the 1991 playoff game might look different
  19. Maybe it would be the right decision for him personally but it would be a terrible business decision IMO. In the NFL your career could end a flash. You try to make as much money as possible. By sitting out he loses just about any leverage he has with the team in contract negotiations. Maybe it’s me being overly positive but I don’t think he does the interview if he’s leaning toward option out. But we’ll see
  20. I’ll say TBD. The Bills seem to have a lot of faith in Josh Norman so I will give them the benefit of the doubt there. If Norman continues to play at the level he did with Washington last year, then look out. I think Levi Wallace did ok but was a weak spot on the defense.
  21. I used to listen to One Bills Live when Murph was on. People didn’t like him but he carried the co-host - whether it was Donald Jones or Steve Tasker. I listened a few times since Brown took over and the show has been bad. I can’t listen to it. While they still get good interviews it’s painful to hear Brown and Tasker conduct interviews. Again, say what you will about Murphy be he made the show better
