  1. What did Duke in was the playoff loss in Houston. He had a tremendous opportunity coming off a good games versus NYJ. In big moments Duke came up empty including failing to make contested catches twice (1 in the endzone at the end of the half) and dropping another pass toward the end of the game. His calling card was that if he could get his hands on the ball, he could make the catch. His play dictated the opposite. If Duke makes one of those catches, you can easily argue it would be a different game. From that moment on, I think it eliminated any thought that he could be a contributor at WR and the team knew they needed a significant upgrade at WR. I like Duke and hope he catches on with another team as well. I think he has pretty good talent and could contribute on ST’s. I don’t think he’s a starter but can him helping in 4 wide or different passing packages
  2. I’m shocked that this is actually a news story. Clearly Smith used “parking cars” as a euphemism for being out of the league or not playing in the NFL. Putting this in the headline makes it seems like he’s literally parking cars. The author must be on a pay-per-click deal He also had the TD catch that was ruled incomplete on NE. Pretty sad that’s considered a “highlight”
  3. Which is why you’ll likely see Jon Feliciano make the initial 53, only to go on IR the next day. So you may a lineman like Ike Boettger released today only to be signed tomorrow
  4. Rosen’s not coming to Buffalo. Not happening.
  5. I think he’ll bounce around as a backup or a fringe starter for teams that desperate for a QB.
  6. Foster’s value is more on ST’s than as a WR. I’d be surprised if they can trade Foster or Croom but then again Beane did get a 6th for Russell Bodine - so you never know
  7. Sal played this one very straight which makes sense but there are always surprises and he didn’t really account for those.
  8. Maybe.... he’s someone that could probably get brought back on the PS
  9. it seemed that Smith’s penalties came at the worst possible times
  10. I think we could be in store for some known players not making the team. It’s all but certain that the rookies will have a spot INT he roster which will give the Bills 5 WR’s + Andre Roberts as WR/KR. I don’t think they keep 6 WR plus Roberts, so that means the following are likely gone: Robert Foster Duke Williams Isaiah McKenzie I don’t these players will be out of work for long. The OL could be interesting as well, if you believe the reports that Daryl Williams and Cody Ford got some work with the 1st Team OL. If people like Ryan Bates can step up as OL swingman, then I think either Brian Winters or TY Nsekhe could be gone. I don’t think they could trade either. I think that Murphy stays and the team tries to sneak Daryl Williams on the PS. I don’t think there’s much value on the trade market and that they are better keeping him in the DL rotation Some other possible cuts that I think could happen: FB Pat DiMarco - I have a feeling the team loves the versatility of a younger Reggie Gilliam. Also they’ve filled a few voids on ST, so they no longer need DiMarco here. RB TJ Yeldon - With Taiwan Jones on the team, I’m not sure there is much space for Yeldon. Yes he can play ST’s but it wasn’t enough to keep him active last year... it might not this year. TE - Jason Croom - Theres just not a spot for him at TE. TE - Lee Smith - less likely but if Williams is playing OT and Ford is inside, Smith on the become less valueable as a blocker. He also wasn’t very last year. QB - Jake Fromm - Logic tells you this doesn’t happen but reports out of camp are that he hasn’t impressed. The team also like Davis Webb Is there a spot for him anymore? Daboll doesn’t use a FB much and this year you’d expect the Bills to run a lot of 3 WR. I know he was valued on Special Teams, but the Bills brought on Taiwan Jones, Tyler Manekevich, and Andre Smith as upgrades. I think there’s a decent chance they move on
  11. I never got to that point with Tyrod until the 2017 season, though the loss at Seattle really made me wonder, because while he played well - he wasn’t able to bring them back from behind when it mattered. To his credit, he did lead the Bills to a lead very late in the 4th quarter against a playoff bound Miami Dolphins team and in the process threw for over 300 yards. I thought he had turned the corner that day for the better.
  12. No - that’s a distinct possibility for sure. But I think that he’s still fast enough to gain some good yardage scrambling.
  13. I don’t think we’ll see a whole new Tyrod in 2020. He’ll be exactly what he’s been his whole career. We’ll see him make some good plays with his legs, take care of the football, and probably hit a few nice deep passes downfield. If the team can get ahead he’ll do a very good job nursing that lead. I don’t think he’ll be the QB who can bring you back when falling behind or the QB who can lead the team to a TD on the last drive. If anything, we know that Tyrod is a really good person so I’m rooting for him in SD.
  14. I never thought he was a serious option for Buffalo. The team likes the versatility Singletary and Moss offer as runners. Fournette, while good, is more one-dimensional. That means he’d end up 3rd on the depth chart. For a RB that wouldn’t get many carries, would not contribute on special teams, and would carry a $4M price tag. PLUS a RB who allegedly had locker room issues in the past, the deal just didn’t make sense for a position not of need. I think if you follow the moves Beane makes, you knew this was a deal that probably wasn’t going to happen. Just like you know Clowney to Buffalo will never happen this year No wonder why your screename is “Logic.” This move couldn’t have been summarized any more concise!
  15. As many have pointed out - it seems to be a no-brainer! The problem is many teams know that the Bills are stacked at WR and will likely be releasing the WR’s you mentioned. They really have to like a player to trade a pick (even if it is a 6th or 7th) because they are scared of another team swooping in. Its like buying something at the end of a yard sale, when you know they’ll just put the stuff out on a curb. Also, I don’t think that not having a preseason could hurt the value of some of these players.
  16. It’s more so White than Wallace. Levi is a passable CB but he’s been picked on at times which is why Norman was brought it
  17. Sal is disputing that Shefter said the Bills called on Fournette. He said it’s an internet rumor from a blog that people ran with, without fact checking. he says the audio/video of Shefter saying this doesn’t exist
  18. From everything I’ve read recently, it seems like a better chance that both sides will get a deal done. Oddly enough, there were a few sites that speculated the Bills could be a candidate for Kamara. While it makes sense on paper, I’m not sure that they would go all-in on a RB position with Singletary and Moss under cheap contracts for multiple years. Also trading Kamara will probably come with signing him to a new deal - which again, I can’t see that happening in Buffalo with Milano, Tre and others looking at new deals soon
  19. I think there’s a good chance of this happening, obviously not at the stadium but at a public location. I don’t see the pandemic forcing Pinto Ron to not pass around the communication bowling ball shot ???
  20. Remember when he got ejected against the Bills for leaving the bench to fight with Shaq Lawson!?!?!!
  21. Yep.... never should’ve gotten to the QB with 2 blockers in his path. That play boggles my mind - it never should’ve happened
  22. You’re not completely wrong. Thad does throw around some snarky comments and Bills criticism on Twitter and yes, it does get annoying.
