  1. I thought Lamar was going to sh*t the bed on the last drive. He did a solid job of leading them down the field but just ran out of time. I think he’s still a top QB in this league
  2. No doubt an advantage for NE. One thing that will help is a limited passing attack. Everyone knows NE will be running and the Bills should be prepared to stop it.
  3. This take is maybe a bit premature but it’s no inconceivable. Compared to other Bills coaches McDermott has been extremely successful and has done more less
  4. He just didn’t put his house on the market, he set a deadline for Tuesday at 5 which is the trade deadline. So he’s gone but the only question is when will he be gone? If Belichick thought this team had a reasonable chance to complete there’s little doubt that they even entertain talks to trade Gilmore
  5. Yes I would say so. At least the fans who are most vocal on social media. Bills fans are more extremists than anything and somewhat out of touch with reality. They think of think is absolutes so when the team is playing well they are Super Bowl bound and when they are struggling it’s a given they’ll lose out the rest of the season. They also are very big on scapegoating. Offense. Defense. QB. Coach. Offensive Coordinator. It’s always one person or one unit’s fault and never a combination of different factors. Of course, some members are untouchable like Josh Allen or McDermott to a lesser extent. I think the drought did some major damage on the fanbase.
  6. It sounds like the perfect acquisition on paper but then again, Dallas has one of the worst defenses in the league and they are releasing these players. So there has to be a reason why
  7. Joe Douglas supposedly knows what he’s doing. You have to think he brings in a decent HC. Once they happens NYJ might be a better franchise. So much of the issue is Adam Gase
  8. Funny because other analysts who also watch each play are saying that Edmunds is struggling to correctly diagnose plays. He either will be fooled by play action or will incorrectly shoot a gap. This was the case in the game last week. The Bills run defense has been terrible and a big part of the blame falls on Edmunds...you can’t deny that
  9. So.... how long do we wait then? Next year is going to be year #4. It’s nice that he’s young but rather than improving he seems to be regressing. It’s not just the injury either, we’ve seen missed tackles, poor reads and a failure to get off blocks. I’m not sure he miraculously bounces back. What has been the takeaway?
  10. Not surprising. The Bills have struggled to get anyone off the field this season
  11. Im sorry but this is season 3....he’s just not playing good enough. I’m almost certain the Bills pick up his option because they seem to love his potential and character, but how many games like this are we going to have to endure? I say if he doesn’t pick it up by the end of the season, it’s time to move on?
  12. Thats like saying the KC only won because CHE’s knew was down. This logic works both ways
  13. I can’t remember specifics, but there was some stat that Jim Nantz was given on the broadcast this weekend. Romo basically questioned the validity and ripped it and was like “that’s not a real stat.” Poor Nantz was fumbling around trying to respond. It was classic
  14. Harlan has grown on me.
  15. Collinsworth is brutal. Do not like him. The easy choice is Tony Romo
  16. Bills are in a good place for OT with Dion, Williams and Big Ty and Ryan Bates as backups. I feel that they was Feliciano in the starting lineup and then they can move Winters to the left side until Ford gets back. The line they want will be Williams, Feliciano, Morse, Ford and Dawkins.
  17. Out of all the names getting tossed around Dalvin Tomlinson is the player that I think makes the most sense. Many have speculated because the Bills need help at 1DT and because Beane worked under Dave Gettleman. But, I’m not convinced Gettleman is even to trade him. While it would make sense, you can argue that there’s a chance he won’t even be around to use the draft capital he could acquire for Tomlinson in a trade. Also as poorly as NYG has played this season they are a few plays away from being first in the NFC East. If I am a GM on the bubble I’m in “win now” mode rather than thinking of the future
  18. He is very hard on Sean McDermott due to an altercation they had last year. McDermott took issue with something he wrote and really tore into him at OBD. I think there’s resentment on both sides and sometimes you can hear it in press conferences Bruce Nolan is tremendous. Just wish he would be himself instead of the Jim Carrey character from Bruce Almighty.
  19. Not really.. they usually beat the 2-4 teams. They usually lose to best teams in the AFC
  20. So this isn’t too much of an exaggeration. McDermott is 0-6 versus Belichick. He’s come close to winning the past few times. Hollywood stuff here. The champion is a shell of what they used to be. They are tired and on the ropes. The Bills have the perfect chance to land the knockout punch. Or will the champ use their cunning, intelligence, and whatever heart is left to get out of a situation where they are overmatched? We’ll find out. But this is the perfect chance for the Bills to finally beat NE.
  21. I love these kinds of stories. Same thing with me but it was Rich Stadium.
  22. So every Bills fan is from Buffalo? I don’t think that’s true. Also there are plenty of fans from Buffalo that aren’t Bills fans. I’m curious to know why people are fans and why they’ve stuck with the team Kelly, Thurman and Bruce were my favorite players. And still probably are to this day
  23. The Ronnie Harmon game! If the Bills don’t go on a SB run the next few year, there’s a great chance that he becomes the “Bill Buckner” of Buffalo. That drop is more of an after thought now
  24. I’m curious to know why everyone here became a Bills fan and why.... For me, I knew of the Bills as the local football team but never really paid much attention. Members of my family were Bills fans because they were local but they didn’t follow the team closely. The first year I remember paying attention was in 1988 after the big win versus NYJ to capture the AFCE championship. I also remember the home playoff game against Houston. There was definitely a “buzz” around Buffalo around 1988. It’s the first time I remember seeing a lot of Bills merchandise in stores at the mall - which would increase in subsequent years. For some reason I didn’t follow as much during 1989, but as soon as the team went on a roll in 1990 I started following and never looked back. I’ve watched almost every game since then. After the 4 straight Super Bowl appearances, I remember thinking I wonder what it’s like to NOT finish a season going to the Super Bowl? Sadly, I’d find out many times!!!! But win or lose, I’ll probably always follow this franchise. Just like a Josh Allen game, the good times more than outweigh the bad ones!
