  1. They definitely overpaid last season. All of those contracts are a little high though Henry and Bourne were good contributors. Smith and Agholor are bad contracts and they are stuck with them for atleast 1 year. It’s funny because Patriots fans things the team just needs a #1 WR. Pretty sure the problem is a QB who can’t push the ball downfield
  2. I won’t be man to man - I don’t see one player assigned to Kelce
  3. I wonder if this guy gets harassed by a certain moderator through PM for starting this topic
  4. Laugh all you want about Jones and sons but they have accumulated some excellent talent. I think the issue is that Dallas has hired some sub-standard coaches and held onto them longer than they should.
  5. Maybe if signs for a vet minimum. I’m guessing the Bills move on from Star and use the cap savings to re-sign Harrison Phillips. You have to think Vern Butler doesn’t get re-signed. That leaves Boogie Basham and Justin Zimmer as the only DT’s on the roster behind Oliver/Phillips. I think 1TDT is what the Bills need more but if we can get Jordan for cheap…why not?
  6. It sounds like Watson really wants to play with Flores. I think that if NYG hires Flores, there’s an excellent chance he ends up there. I would prefer that too…we don’t need another good QB in the AFC. As far as NE, I don’t think they have the draft capital at this point or the cap space. If you’re Watson and you have a trade clause, are you going to want to play for 70 year old Bill Belichick? Probably not. With that said, I would not be shocked to see NE consider all options to upgrade at QB. But in the end I think they are going to take the same approach as Miami and try to get better weapons
  7. This is all true. But go back and watch week 18 against Denver. Denver was one bad Melvin Gordon fumble away from pulling an upset. KC is a damn good team for sure, but they aren’t unbeatable Context is important. Our receivers are a lot more healthy than they were last year when struggled to beat press coverage
  8. It goes both ways though. KC looked unstoppable through the 2nd and 3rd quarter. I am a little worried how the defense will handle the speed on KC between Hill, McKinnon, Hardman etc. But then again, Pittsburgh’s offense was so crappy that the defense probably got gassed very early on. Either way, one very good team in going to be going home Sunday
  9. The fact that he showed in Buffalo to watch the game in the stands in zero degree confirms that he really loves Buffalo. How great would it be for Fitz to finish his career out in Buffalo as Josh’s backup?
  10. Was this the cassette tape of song parodies about the Bills? I think they sold these at Dunn Tire?
  11. How do you feel about this matchup? It’s not the same KC team we beat earlier in the season. But when you go back and watch Week 18 in Denver, they certainly look a lot more beatable than they did tonight
  12. He actually like Bills fans. Had a blast tailgaiting a few years ago
  13. The aura around NE is dead. It was dead last season when Brady left but that mirage of a 7 game win streak forced the media to pretend it still exists. All of this stuff about Belichick taking away an offenses best player, never losing after a bye, never losing 2 in a row, never losing in December is all ancient history. Remember how brilliant he was to “zig when everyone zagged.” It caught up with him today. There’s a limit to how far a run first offense without a legit QB can go in the NFL. Belichick will go down as perhaps the greatest coach ever in the NFL. You can argue that he’s probably the best defensive mind ever. But the aura of invincibility around him is gone.
  14. Yes…higher team plays the lowest seed
  15. I think if Hyde doesn’t make that INT, the game could have been completely different. It seemed to set the stage for the game and the offense did their part by turning the turnover in 7 points.
  16. Josh had so much time in the pocket. He looked like Jim Kelly against Cleveland in 1989
  17. Matthew Fairburn loves to push these narratives. First it was Belichick is in McDermott’s head. Then it was The Bills can’t beat NE when it matters. Then it was Josh can’t play in the cold
  18. Best of luck man.
  19. So this is just what I was talking about. A HC candidate is going to be asked to take Tua as his QB in the interview. Will they turn down the interview or try to make it work? So much for it being a “ridiculous” question eh?
  20. Daboll gets blamed for everything that’s gone wrong and little for what has been effective. I don’t want him to go but hope that he’s given a chance to be a HC. Same with Frazier.
  21. Gabriel.Davis. He probably was already a mismatch for Mills. Now he’ll be defended by JoeJuan Williams, who I understand is that great.
  22. I struggle with this too, especially in the post season. The nerves before the game are always worse than how you feel at the end of the game - regardless of the outcome
  23. I’m getting anxious now. I hate these 8PM games
  24. The biggest question mark is Christian Barmore. He was limited in practice but didn’t do anything when the media was there. He couldn’t put any weight on his leg last Sunday. If he’s active, it makes you wonder how much he’ll play and how effective he will be. There’s no way he isn’t hobbled by what happened last week I’ve also heard they may start start Ononwe and flip Trent Brown. This lets them keep the best 5 on the field. Herron was not good last week
