I don’t think they’ve been magnificent and also there’s been so many different combinations over the past 3 weeks. I think what happened today was getting Dion back AND having his play at a high level. He kicked Williams into RG Brown back to RT and I think Bates was better than Boettger at LG.

Dion Dawkins on this play - amazing hustle

This had to have been his best game of 2021. Crazy to think it came right after coming off the COVID list. -

Hell yeah…. I didn’t think the Bills had it in them -
This was our best performance by offensive line

You take those 5 and make them the starters for the rest of the season…keep Ford and Feliciano on the bench -
Pretty sure if it was something major with Star’s family we would know

Showdown with Pats is a judgment day for Sean McDermott, Bills

Agreed and 1 disappointing season also doesn’t make him Chan Gailey. -
Who has the bigger impact: McKenzie or Kumerow?
JohnNord replied to ChicagoRic's topic in The Stadium Wall
McKenzie only because I don’t think Kumerow gets the targets -

New England 28 Bills 14 I can’t see any way this ragged roster beat NE in Foxboro -
About 90% that Dion doesn’t make it back by Sunday. That would be 9 days which falls in line with most cases. Only 20% of players with COVID return sooner than 10 days

I haven’t been enjoying this season. It’s more on me but I’ve been pretty disappointed several time this year. It’s been super nerve wracking in big games and many time the Bills have disappointed us again.

Showdown with Pats is a judgment day for Sean McDermott, Bills
JohnNord replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall
The problem with this is you’re factoring in his two season where the team was pretty much devoid of talent. If you focused on the past three season where the team reached the postseason their record is not nearly. 3 of the losses this season were 1 score games and there is usually some randomness at play with those types of games. So basically you’ve formed an opinion and you’re using data lacking a lot of context to push your bias There’s truth that McDermott needs to cosch better in big games but he has made some progress over the past two years. I think the emotional takes about him are ridiculous. And by the way, he’s going no where. He’s the most powerful person at OBD outside of the owners. It’s going to take a giant collapse for him to get fired any time soon. I just think it’s ridiculously reactionary. Don’t get me wrong McDermott has his faults but fans want to blame him for everything. Some things are out of his control. I think he’s a pretty good coach and while this season has been somewhat disappointing it would be foolhardy to fire him -

Your premise is flawed and ridiculously emotional and reactionary. Good thing you’re not running an NFL franchise. To say McDermott has never beaten a good coach is untrue and there are countless examples from last season alone - including two in the playoffs. It’s a tired argument that a lot of Bills fans will make that isn’t true. I don’t think he’s the best coach in the NFL and he’s definitely not perfect but I also think he’s a lot better than people who think like you believe. -
Should we bring back John Brown for the Patriots game?
JohnNord replied to transplantbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall
It’s an idea that sounds better on paper than in reality. Brown has fallen off a Cliff. There’s a reason he’s a street FA. -
Let’s hope..: I can tell you’re a very positive person. That’s hard to be as a Bills fan sometimes

Ravens down to 13 defensive players at practice due to Covid
JohnNord replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
Why does the NFL delay games for Cleveland but not Baltimore? Or any other team affected by COVID? -
Thought the same but you can’t go by that. McKenzie, Poyer and Feliciano all supported him. They are all vaxxed Right but that’s never happened. You test positive for longer than 2 days
-
Not gonna happen. He just went on the COVID list. There’s no chance he’s off it in 2 days
-
Man this sucks…No Beasley, Davis, Dawkins, Feliciano, or Ford. Another shuffled OL. This is going to end very badly for Buffalo

Not everyone thinks the Bills will lose Sunday
JohnNord replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall
Not everyone on this lists are “experts.” Many of them are fans just like us with a blog. Second, the ratio is 54-46. Nearly 50/50. Third, the Bills were slightly favored on pickwatch in the first matchup. How’d that work out. They can also make more space by getting out of contracts -
Showdown with Pats is a judgment day for Sean McDermott, Bills

Good article but a few things stuck out to me: ”It’s also on McDermott to manage the game flawlessly, because Belichick is brilliant at game management.” Belichick is a brilliant game manager? Wasn’t he criticized for his game management last week. I’d say he’s good but wouldn’t call him “brilliant” when it comes to game management. “Coaching is huge, but Belichick is right. The players have to execute. Hughes, Addison and Lotulelei have three of the top six salary cap figures on the team this year. The Bills need a good finish to the season from all three.” Yeah so this isn’t happening. None of these three will have any impact on the game. They’ve been largely invisible all season long and might make a nice play here or there - but they aren’t affecting the game in a big way. -
It should be noted this article was was written by a Boston radio DJ in an attempt to boost engagement/interest during Bills-Patriots week. Its a weak attempt to get attention and many of the people here, including the OP, fell for it. Never crossed the OP’s mind. It was “fair and balanced” in his opinion

I agree they could utilize him a little better but who gives a shot about his “numbers?” It was going to be nearly impossible to duplicate the season he put up last year. This years there’s been so many factors as to why the offense has struggled
