  1. This is true and possibly a reason why the Bills don’t need to take a big swing and pay DK Metcalf $33M a season. But also the team needs to upgrade Josh’s weapons as well to make his life easier. The playoffs has come down to a top pass catcher coming up small in a big moment. There were other times when the lack of ability at WR was on full display. I think the WR is looking decent but would like a rookie drafted drafted in R1/R2 that isn’t a Keon Coleman.
  2. I’m not getting the hate for this guy. Outside of Davante Adams (somewhat debatable), there wasn’t a clear cut WR1 available. I like Palmer better than a player like Darius Slayton who signed the same deal. No idea why people are comparing his Curtis Samuel before he took his first snap.
  3. Beane loves those modest free agent signings
  4. Means nothing… he said the same thing in 2022 and then signed Von Miller.
  5. My concern as well. They need to raise the ceiling and not the floor. And it seems that their approach is to raise the floor and have faith that the players they invested in recently take a big step. Not sure sure about that
  6. Right - they overspent on all of these signings. Williams might be turn out to be the best one
  7. That’s what you’d think… but then again last season we all thought they wouldn’t trade Diggs if there wasn’t a big plan to replace him in mind. There was no big plan - unless you think it was trading down to draft Keon Coleman and signing Chase Claypool. I think they are waiting to sign the undervalued type FA’s and honestly it might be the best plan
  8. Pittsburgh released Larry Ogunjobi. Solid player who would fit in well in Buffalo
  9. Yeah he was very good in his role with Philly, but not a $26M player
  10. Yup he pulled a Myles Garrett and had a “change of heart” when the Benjamins came calling
  11. I liked when they sent players to Jim Kelly’s house as part of their full court press
  12. Seems like a logical signing the fan base clamors for, that the Bills don’t make!
  13. Rodgers for Fields trade
  14. He’ll also have to work with Arthur Smith who many don’t feel is a good pairing with Rodgers. Get the popcorn ready
  15. This is wild… Jimmy Garoppalo signed a one year contract for $4.5M with LAR in 2023. He plays one game and re-signs for $11M in 2014. WTF
  16. 3 years $60M for Carlton Davis in New England. Likely an overpay on their part but that seems to be around the floor for Benford
  17. I think there’s a good chance. It is being reported by Gerry Dulac of PGH Post Gazette
  18. NFL media is floored by this deal. He signed larger contract than Ronnie Staley
  19. Spillane > NE @ 3 years $37 M
  20. Carlton Davis > NE @ $20M AAV Dan Moore > TEN @ 4 y $80M Milton Williams > CAR Paulson Adebo > NYG Javon Kinkaw > WAS @ 3y $45M Jordan Lewis > JAX Aaron Rodgers close to signing with Pittsbugh
  21. Age was definitely a valid concern among some. This wasmet by many in media about how Von “keeps himself in great shape.” Honestly age wasn’t a factor with Von until he was hurt. I was for the big move because the Bills had failed at boosting their DL They tried incumbents (Hughes, Lawson), mid tier Free Agents (Murphy, Addison, Butler) and high draft picks (Rosseau, Basham). The pass rush was average and lacked someone to step up in big situations. Plus Von could mentor the rookies who needed a lot of work. Everything worked exactly to plan before the injury.
  22. Even if you look to last season. Russell Wilson was decent in the first half of the year but killed them in big games down the stretch and in the playoffs. You don’t need a decent QB… you need a GOOD QB to content
  23. LOL OK you were the ONE person with injury concerns about Von Miller but can’t find any evidence to back up this claim? Got it. You know I was also the same the person that said the Bills needed to draft Josh Allen in 2018 and that he was a future HOF’er the moment the pick came in 🤣
  24. It’s mostly true. Find an example where someone took lower pay to go to a contender? I would bet anything that it’s slightly lower but that’s it. Players want to win AND get paid. And the paid part almost always trumps winning
  25. They aren’t cursed. Aside from Allen there’s no other star players on the roster. That’s why so many wanted Myles Garrett. I was told Kincaid’d catch was impossible to make
