Objectively, I would not call a 20 pass from Josh Allen a deep ball. The guy throws lasers at that range. What he legitimately struggles with are true deep balls >30 air yards. Anything that involves lobbing it with a high arc and letting the receiver run under it. He does a lot of things great, but that isn't one of them. Thanks OK. Id rather a guy who can throw frozen ropes.

Star will be a post 6/1 cap casualty. That will spread his dead cap over two seasons instead of all 5.2 in 2022. So we will save an extra 2.6 million by waiting. If they draft a LBer, they could do something with Klein too. Honestly, they have tons of flexibility to create room if they need to. Beane is pretty good with the cap. I don't think Edmunds is a $12 million dollar middle linebacker. Maybe they work out a more reasonable long term deal. I'd love to see a Milano type deal for edmunds.

PS - a 15 million dollar average contract would put him at tied for 18th most among Dline. I'd argue he is a top 20 d lineman at this point in his career, even with some decline in his play. Dude wants to win a super bowl, but he also wants to get paid a reasonable salary.

What did folks think he was going to get? The top edge rushers are getting 20+ million. He is still a well above average DLman. The best you could have hoped for was 13-14million. 15-18 million is what I was anticipating.

Anyone listen to Lamar after the game? Man, it still sounds like this past playoff failures haunt him, even after their win. I don't believe he has beaten his case of the "yips" yet. Fluster him and the defense could have a few opportune turnovers that could change the game. The baltimore Dline scares me, but if we can beat them, we can beat any team.
