Week 11 Around the League
QLBillsFan replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So objectively you actually think that Tua will give them a better chance to win ? So does your coach ! He’s the starter for next week. Why did you say Denver winning was the biggest NFL upset in recent memory? Your kidding 🤷🏻♂️? -

We are sick of you talking about the Dolphins 🐬. I am not approving of name calling it’s foolish. But you come across a bit overly confident in your Dolphins. Example today’s game. I’ve said multiple times every game is it’s own challenge. You have specificity said Dolphins will walk through next 2-3 games. Despite the pick it is clear Fitz gives your team the best chance to win. Tua got exposed as a rookie and Herbert will be better. Tua may evolve into a good qb but at expense of a loss today, hurting the franchise. Your coach of year and GM own that poor decision. Hard to win 6-7 games in a row. Your team got breaks and played well. Facts are the O is limited now your have a locker room potentially divided. I enjoy your posts on your favorite team but your not objective. -

That was big time break on a soft holding call.. -
I couldn’t disagree more. Both RB’s are solid. If you recall Singletary average 5+ yards a carry last year. OL and lack of commitment by BD. We are throwing and scoring but we need some balance. I expect after they bye and full OL we will see a better run game.

McClappy has been calling late first half or end game TO’s since he got here. I would say they have been very effective. The guys didn’t execute. You could make the argument that they should have rushed 3-4 and dropped every one deep. It looked like Bills covered the intermediate routes. As has been mentioned it’s unfortunate, bad timing on jumps but rare. I will not blame that play on coaching.

Agree Pats are going to be super difficult for both of us. Bills 4-0 and Dolphins 1-2. Bills and Pats away very very tough for phins late in season. Bills 5-1 wins division. So we are missing the playoffs?

Ok This Dolphins talk is getting out of hand.

Your assumptions are impressive. Only a Dolphins 🐬 homer can be that pumped. Come out of the closet your not a Bills fan 🤷🏻♂️🤓😳!!! -

Listen stop comparing 2020 teams with teams from the 1990’s. Bills lost on a hail Mary. They will win the division and beat the Dolphins here. Please keep counting your Dolphins wins before they happen. Bills fans respect each opponent and after a well needed bye, Bills will compete and win the division. You now have them losing division and not making the playoffs. Your confidence in your Dolphins is impressive post miracle loss by Bills. -
OC play calling has been pretty darn good. How did we evolve into a team who can’t run the ball at all! OL run blocking has been atrocious!

Run and stop the run. Per Marv. But if a different era, but it’s amazing JA can do what he’s doing with literally no run game. And while our RB’s aren’t take it to the house guys, you can’t blame it on them! Need Morse at C and CF and JF to get this going. Not sustainable. Interior DL is getting manhandled. What the heck. Is Star that great? LB’s played pretty darn well today so DL is the issue. Some how despite that it took a miracle to beat us. JA is playing unreal considering. Some bad throws but how much should we expect with no run game ?

It’s the national media Tua newest toy approach. Easy and lazy journalism. I prefer when the Bills are under the radar. If Bills beat the Cards and go to 8-2 we are in unreal position. No easy task. Chargers or Bengals will upset the Dolphins as it’s hard to win 5-6 in a row in NFL. Really like what the Dolphins are doing. I still think pulling Fitz was a mistake. We shall see. -
B Jones may be educated, but he’s not smart. He’s got the I don’t like JA who at 15 made some foolish texts. As if that should be held against him the rest of his life. Very pro any black QB and anti JA. Apparently referenced JA throwing like W Moon and claims Bills fans didn’t like it. Acting like Bills fans weren’t educated about how great W Moon was. WMoon was great! And he actually along with James Harris(Bills/Rams) Doug Williams paved the way for the many great black qb’s we are now seeing. Saying JA is good doesn’t diminish the current plethora of really good black QB’s. B Jones has a plan for his narrative and he’s sticking to it.

Kind of enjoyed watching Vrabel and the Titans lose to the Colts again. He was kinda of a jack ass around the whole Covid jerk around that the Bills got. Any coach that constantly whines and ***** at the refs all game long gets on my nerves. He therefore gets on my nerves. Would love to see them come to OP in first round for a payback! But if they don’t even make it, that’s fine with me.

Local TV stations have no agenda. Again Sinclair owns multiple stations in the same markets that cater to a wide array of musical genres. Talk radio has a conservative bent to it because that makes money. Liberal talk radio has up to this point never been profitable. So it’s a business model to make money so I’ll agree on that. Conservative radio will thrive as an option to now what is a more liberal president. The conservative agenda won’t age out. It delivers to the 45-64 demographic which is the most affluent group. It won’t age out as many people become most conservative as they hit that demographic.

Question for those who witnessed the SB years?
QLBillsFan replied to whatdrought's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Norwood year ( the first one). The Bills were the best team in the NFL. Coming off a 51-3 thrashing of the Raiders. While the Giants won a hard fought 16-13 or so mild upset of the niners. Bills were the favorite and it was a epic perfect storm effort by the Giants to get the upset. The next three years the Bills were not the best team in the NFL. Would they have had more confidence? Maybe but I think they end up 1-3. Assuming they made it. Would they have been as driven? That’s perhaps the hallmark of that group. The fight, the drive. The incredible determination. -
Grumpy about our Press Corps
QLBillsFan replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think the negativity really hurt the Sabres. It became so negative I do believe it impacted the ROR trade. A cloud exists over that team and I do think naturally the poor play led to depressing coverage. I’m going to enjoy the relative balance with the Bills. -
Yeah this is painful. Welcome to 2020 and it’s only gonna get worse. It is more of a need to get more potential candidates in coaching early. That creates a funnel and over time the best will get hired. Forcing it seems to be a disservice to those who have really earned it. Teams have incentive to win. They will get the best players and coaches regardless of color.

Seems to me the mid week questions are generally of the soft variety. Generally the post game questions are where the more pointed questions come. McClappy is not a great interview. From the keep it close to the vest camp. I’m actually a bit enlightened with a less negative vibe from what seems like a younger group of “ Bills beat guys”. Not as much the grumpy kind of angry Sullivan and Tim G approach. It can’t all be the Bills homer Chris Brown (Bills employee) all the time. But I think on balance they blend the fluff with the needed tough questions. -
Would you want to re-sign Isiah McKenzie?
QLBillsFan replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Absolutely at the right $. I think he won’t have high leverage unless he gets a significantly higher number of snaps. Seems to fit well and it appears a really like teammate.
