Yes a WR who is paid minimally and is not the face of the franchise at $35M year. This is toxic even if he’s not criminally charged. He also was happy to sign this contract a year ago when he certainly could have by then formed his opinion of the owner. I don’t think that helps his value either. The guy is simply not worth it in the short term. Unlikely this will be resolved in advance of the draft. Post draft Texans are not trading him this year.

Oh I agree I’m not giving him a pass. But it seems like the NFL network would be very sensitive to this issue and has him on the air. Not defending him but surprised NFL would have him working if it was physical violence. Don’t know every nuisance of the case.

All this draft capital is great. But it only tells me they value Tua over anyone not named Lawrence or Wilson. The🐬 were lauded for moves made last year, but they are seemingly quick to move on from coaches and players. That lack of continuity will hurt them again this year. Particularly if the union wins and mini camps are all virtual. If your good continuity wins the day. Teams like the Bucs and Bills will benefit.

Not getting over it. He got 3 years probation for false imprisonment. I thought his media career was over. I would assume NFL vetted the case and moved forward with him. The guy certainly has struggled in his personal life.

Leaf is really good imho.The guy tells his story about his challenges and inability to deal with the pressure of the NFL. But he’s really knowledgeable and I’m hoping he can keep his stuff together.

KC played best game in past 8 against Bills. We are much closer than many suggest. G who can run block, 2 edge players, speed TE. KC will struggle with this loss. They had bad calls but quit.

Wow Wyche never ending attack on any non minority hiring is something. It’s about candidates being in the funnel. OC’s and DC’s generally get the coaching jobs. Focus on getting more in funnel. Seems as though Sirianni although young has paid his dues for many years. Attacking these hirings essentially as racism is just not a complete evaluation of the situation.

Bills getting insane amount of credit. It’s not ridiculous for Bills to be the underdogs this week. With all due respect to JH, all athletes thrive on creating this us vs world mentality. But as Bills fan I’m overwhelmed with the positive respect the franchise is getting. And deservedly so. So I’m pretty appreciative of the Buffalo love. Not what we are used to. But nation is aware Bills are good and it’s not a short term trend.

Morse, Star, Matakevich, Gaines cut create about 23m. That keeps Milano and Willams. Likely the least painful way to do it. Unless you keep Star over Butler or Jefferson.

Thought the discussion was about Williams? JA certainly will impact the salary cap but think Bills will structure it in a way to best keep as many good players as possible. Morse, Yeldon, Winters, Norman added to Murphy, TN, and Kroft. Each player while part of great depth have an option to replace (again not ideal). This creates 30-40 M allowing Williams and potentially Milano to sign for average of 10M each. Won’t be easy but can be done.
