Bringing Josh Allen along slowly - Always the debate
QLBillsFan replied to Billsfan1972's topic in The Stadium Wall
Also no way of knowing if he would have been worse off by playing more? Beane was cleaning house and not interested or likely able to attract free agent talent at that juncture. So it can go both ways. But we can respectfully disagree. I’m gonna focus on the now and the future. -
Bringing Josh Allen along slowly - Always the debate

The NFL is littered with high drafted QB’s immediately thrown into the fire too soon. That’s the argument of why the Bills were patient with JA. So now that’s he’s where he’s at what does it matter ? If he started the entire year one he might have been overwhelmed and not where he is now. -

I’m confused. Seems JA was brought along rather effectively. By every measure and eye test he’s a top 5 QB in this league currently. His peers from the same 1st round are not remotely where he is ( except Lamar). With respect to Lamar likely every GM in the NFL would take JA over Lamar for next ten years. KM is a fine QB who as the season progresses.. regresses. And has yet to get in or win a playoff game. That doesn’t mean he won’t. JA has been developed masterfully by the Bills imho! -
Seems that Kirby as the head coach could have called a TO. Poor clock management and if he’s so accountable how come his QB had zero sense of urgency. I have no allegiance to either team but Kirby came across obnoxious. Constantly on the field yelling at refs.. when his team got away with the worst PI I think I’ve ever seen. He was playing intense coach guy and it was embarrassing. Having said all that he’s a really good coach. College coaching is about the Jimmy’s and the Joe’s not the X’s and O’s! Kirby and Saban have that figured out. The SEC has been running the NIL system for 30 years 😂

CFB Playoffs: Orange Bowl/Michigan v UGA
QLBillsFan replied to YoloinOhio's topic in College Football
Michigan is as embarrassing as the refs non PI call late in half where Georgia gets int. And they have to watch the play to review targeting. Ref has to be saying omg we really missed that. Must be same crew who did Bills vs Bucs 😂 -
All-22 Grades for Bills/Patriots (The Athletic)
QLBillsFan replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall
Dane Jackson gave up two big plays on one of the second half TD drives. One was a 15 yard out, the second a big yardage crossing pattern. Otherwise he’s hanging in giving us decent play. Levi’s continues solid play.. would have had huge int up 20-7 that might have put game away early. S Neal solid in run situations. If we hold teams to 21 points we win in playoffs. -
Move Tremaine Edmunds to DE next season.
QLBillsFan replied to r henderson's topic in The Stadium Wall
Interesting how the rest of the league think he’s a good player. Would we all like to see him read and flow better in run D ? Absolutely. Is he a very strong pass defending LB? Absolutely. He hammered the Pats in the check down game this week. If we choose to not resign him it opens up a gaping hole that has to be filled. If Bills offer him a fair contract to stay I think he will do so. If not he will have multiple offers in the LB position he’s currently playing. -

Yikes.. agree. Like the Bills coaching staff having committed a career to position and talent evaluation would not see DE potential. I’ll go with the Bills staff on this one as well 🤓 -
This has to be the year..Tasker semifinalist for HoF

I heard JC as well. He was very very dismissive of ST’s chances. Essentially based on snap count vs regular players. Many players become eligible in the current era of increased stats. It unfortunately doesn’t look good for ST anytime soon. -
A starting level CB is available.. Breeland

Neal is a solid option. Bills had him on field on obvious run downs. Bring very physical style. Dane gave up a couple big plays vs Pats but overall has not been a detriment to team. -

He’s a great player in space. OL get him moving side to side and over pursuing plays. I think he would get eaten up by OT’s on the edge. He is a top coverage LB in league but imho he needs to sit back 5 yards at LB to read plays better. Let’s keep him at LB. -
#44 Marv Hubbard from Randolph pro bowl FB for the John Madden Raiders from 69-75. Legend on NFL films for rivalry with Chiefs. Still has one of the highest avg yards per carry in NFL history. Chuck Christ Salamanca played for Giants,49ers, and was pro bowl S for Saints. Early to late 70’s. Played basketball at Penn St then FA made the Giants and had 7-8 year career.

Hey Levon... You made the wrong choice
QLBillsFan replied to kirkwoodus13's topic in The Stadium Wall
Again just don’t think he’s an upgrade. Nor a process guy. Do you actually think he would be the featured back for the Bills at this point ? So more likely option two or three at best. Given his lack of acceptance of a limited role don’t think he’s a fit. -

Yes he played well for the Steelers where he fit in with an outstanding line and a balanced offense. They helped him thrive in his peak years. He responded by turning down 14m per year which he never recovered from. Subsequently he has done absolutely nothing. He is not currently viewed as a fast guy. Do the Bills have a great running back group ? No, but can they win with them-yes. Is Bell an upgrade at this time ? No …. -

Well if we want to comment on anything posted I guess we can. The guy is on the tail end of his career. He has trashed each of the three organizations he played for on the way out. And he has not demonstrated to anyone based on the past three years that he is better than what we have. He is not a process guy he is a me guy. Finally , not too smart to rip AR /Chiefs and the Steelers (while leaving 14m) who are arguably two of the most respected franchises in football. Thank you. -

Levon likes his money… I’ll take a hard pass. He’s been not much of team guy based on Steelers, Jets, and just publicly calling out the Chiefs and Andy Reid. And he’s no longer that good. So I’ll take the three guys we have.- 194 replies

Jordan Poyer Interview - OTAs June 2, 2021
QLBillsFan replied to wppete's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I appreciate the positivity and we are all excited for the season. But I think the Bills players have brought the vaccine discussion up and JW is just doing his job. BB and McD have put a lockdown on any additional discussion. Jordan shut him down because that’s what he was told to do. -
Urban just can’t quit Tebow! (Update - Cut by Jags)
QLBillsFan replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Agree he’s fighting for a back up TE role on a bad team. Has great leadership qualities that his former coach likely thinks are valuable. That is it, oh forgot. He is religious and does good things for others. If he doesn’t help the team win he will get cut. -
I didn’t turn this political. But yes in fact he absolutely thinks for himself. And yes he adeptly challenges and that is rare in the media.
