Miami blitzes all the time. They get plenty of sacks on Josh but also get massively burned. Bengals won’t do that. Josh will take the underneath stuff and we will run more. They will put 30 plus up and win.
I don’t expect to see Josh to get crazy and throw deep into double coverage. May need Knox and RB’s more. Josh certainly needs to protect the ball when rushed and use the quicker throws if needed.I think he hears literally everyone say how reckless he’s been. He knows this better than anyone. He adjusts and Bills win.
It’s gotten so bad qb’s are allowing it to hit zero and not even worrying about. Bills included! Why even have a play clock if zero means nothing. Why put additional stress on the refs who are already having a hard time making in play calls with any level of consistency 🤷🏻♂️
Well actually it had a huge impact on the game. Marginal call at best. Seahawks worst case scenario get a FG. Either ahead 24-23 or down 24-20 with 2 minutes to go in the 3rd quarter. Niners are the better team but allowed a pretty average team to hang around. That pressure would have immediately been on the niners O.
And the point is every nfl offense could be called for that. At that juncture in the game virtually no penalties had been called other than false starts. So it was a very bad call that impacted this game.
No excuses on db execution. It’s not been very good. Elam had a penalty and got beat on a great play by Pats. But at least he showed some semblance of tight coverage. I do think some of the Bills overall lack of execution has to do with very limited practices. From before Thanksgiving to the Pats game they haven’t had anything remotely resembling a normal practice routine. Back to back Sunday’s at 1 should really help. Just my thoughts…
