  1. Good idea but he will be long gone by 27.
  2. Wow seems so simple. It’s very unlikely we tag him unless we already have a trade partner. At $17m you better know that. Every team has FA that walk for nothing. The value of him gone vs the Bills spending $17 is the win. Beane is pretty smart. On the whole he’s been good. How did you like our GM’s for the 15 years before he got here? He’s not perfect but he’s a good GM. I expect he will continue to put this team in a position to win.
  3. So you use an example of the Vikings getting a 1st rounder for a pro bowl WR. It’s rare that trades like that occur. It’s not that Oliver for example isn’t a decent player. But at $11M it’s just not good value. Teams want value more than anything. I proposed sending him to ATL ( they need DT and have cap $) and getting starting LB Mykal Walker at around $3M due to his value. And.. we give them a sixth round choice next year. The player + $8M cap relief is like getting the “great” deal like a second round pick.
  4. He’s a decent player, but our cap issues.. Atlanta needs D help. How about Oliver for LB Mykal Walker and we give them a 6th next year. We save about 7-8m off cap. And a potential replacement at LB.
  5. Diggs is showing great maturity and leadership. I don’t mean during game outbursts, those happen. But his current act is hard to understand. The Bills aren’t trading him. He took the restructure and gladly signed. So what’s the deal? He knows the Bills would get crushed on the cap because he got the restructure. Grow up.. they aren’t sending him to play with his brother in Dallas.
  6. The fallout of getting a hall of fame DE which is what we needed. Edmunds had plenty of time to show he’s a consistent game changer. He hasn’t been. KC won with a very average D. Help JA feed the O.. score more points !
  7. No brainer to go RB in first 🤷🏻‍♂️With OL, LB, WR, and S needs. Isn’t SB of Giants enough of a warning on RB’s in the first. The no brainer is to not go Robinson!
  8. Not amusing just logical. As you say the Browns foolishly tried to drive the new guarantee market. The NFL is being incredibly generous to the QB position. See Seahawks, Giants, Saints this week. But the fully guaranteed market is just giving away $ unnecessarily. It’s just smart business. Lamar has clearly benefited from having his mom in charge. Yikes…
  9. So highlighting he’s a me first guy. The Ravens are a highly respected franchise. I’m seeing Newsome and the leadership are not signing up for the insane guaranteed $. Add that to how things ended last season and that is resonating across the league. His play upside and O based on him, health, and leadership are all concerns.
  10. Again why a firestorm? David Tepper Panthers owner is spoken as a guy who wants to make a huge splash in the Carolina market. Lamar seems to make sense but why no interest ? The $ vs the future production don’t line up. Not a Ravens fan but that team is as respected as any NFL franchise. And they are saying.. feel free to make a deal with Lamar. That is really interesting.
  11. Media in Lamar’s corner keep taking about his MVP year. The league has adjusted and he clearly was either too injured or not willing to play a fair amount of games the past 2 years. He competes, he seems to be a good teammate, but could you see JA employing the same strategy?? He didn’t and he’s now comfortably signed to a contract and is the unquestioned leader of the Bills. Does anyone view Lamar as a leader of the Ravens? Poor decision making to not have an agent to take the burden off. No collusion, If teams think he’s worth it.. they will come after him and do a sign and trade. If not it’s a matter of value and he’s overpriced for the market. Right because all NFL don’t care about winning ? Really? Why would these teams not be excited to get better ? At first glance the play vs cost at least so far is not worth it. If one team steps up which is certainly possible then he’s met a particular teams value. That’s all.
  12. He’s just not that great. A QB has to be able to pass consistently. The OC ran a Lamar based offensive.. I don’t think every NFL team thinks that offense or his current skills sets are SB potential. The rapist contract was bound to cause problems so thanks to the ever clueless Browns.
  13. OJ had a significant knee injury when he was traded to the Niners, essentially as good will to him. Henry while on the backside of his career does not have said injury. Not sure it’s the prudent move for the Bills right now. But two completely different situations health wise. OJ was basically done.
  14. Good news. Players don’t like the dude and he doesn’t communicate with his hand picked coaches.
  15. Yup. KC won the SB with at best an average D. Bills get Hyde and Miller back. Replace Poyer and Edmunds with cap friendly veterans or mid rounds draft choices. Go get 2 OL starters and #2 WR. 2 in first and second round. And 1 vet via FA.
  16. KC told him when AR retires he’s not the guy. The off the field stuff as noted by many is an issue. Never really was considered the true OC (fair or not). And clearly doesn’t interview well. Owners are not obligated to hire the guy to appease the media. Having said that I wish him well in DC, he will likely need it. Well actually nobody has hired him as HC. It’s possible you’re right he could be dumped if RR gets fired. Or he could possibly get the gig at least interim if RR gets the axe. The team has decent talent so if they can solve QB he could get some credit and build his brand.
  17. It’s about consistency. They called zero all night. Neither OL was called for holding. We all know holding happens every play. And the Bills seem to get a fair amount, while the Chiefs almost never get called. So all night they call no OL holding or D pi or hold. Is it an accurate call? 50/50. It’s just a lack of consistency which harms the game. By the way, not suggesting the Bills deserved to be in this game. Fair to say KC has a bit of a horseshoe or just some good fortune. Seems as if PM is the next Brady.
  18. And you know this ? I’m thinking Josh could run that sneak play rather effectively with the way the Eagles do it.. Hurts has very little to do with it. On the one play he was clearly short and momentum was stopped.. but was further pushed by his team. Momentum and the zero clock have suddenly become calls that the new NFL reffing rules have somehow decided to not call correctly
  19. “I don’t ever want to see up with people ever again”.. Pete Rozelle 1986.. but I don’t think this is what he had in mind 🤷🏻‍♂️
  20. He’s been hitting “the supplements “ pretty hard this year. Playing the no respect fool … such a no class guy. No humility or props to Eagles or the pain his brother must be feeling. Complete idiot.
  21. Frazier and Kromer the guru OL coach for sure. Dorsey unlikely but possible.
  22. Ok top 5 OL. It’s a bit unique not sure every team can bank on late round QB’s. I’ll soul search that the Bengals would have won with their back up running back. They outcoached and outplayed the Bills today. Hmm didn’t seem that significant during the TV coverage.
  23. Sure if you have the best OL in the league that’s a great strategy.
  24. Like no other team can purchase tickets but the Bills and go on the road. They have a good team and they had some avid fans at the game. Seems logical. I’m guessing if the Bills won 27-10 they wouldn’t have been noticed.
  25. Great suggestion. Brilliantly articulated super impressive!
