  1. The Bills are a contender again for the SB this year. I think in the whole this board is aware of the AFC East getting stronger. Not many underestimating. Yes the loss to the Bengals was surprising more in the lack of energy the Bills gave. Injuries happen and the circumstances of the year took its toll. I will say that the pressure is deservingly high on McBeane. Will it be a tough year, absolutely. But I would not assume the Bills are not going to be very much in the mix. Years ago a contending team would bring unreal excitement. The negativity seems a bit over the top imho.
  2. You win the right to be right? I’m fine with you winning actually in that I’d like to see the Bills make some moves 👍.. the article from CBS definitely says it’s done deal.
  3. Yes we get your CBS take. But it hasn’t happened yet. If it happens then the Bills will take a plan forward on FA. It’s possible they don’t restructure both JA and VM. So it’s currently not a fact.
  4. Yes that has been speculated. But hard to make any moves until it’s all done. I expect BB to improve the team and with the cap.
  5. Well since FA hasn’t started.. seems like BB will improve the Bills. We have holes at every position ? That’s a lot of holes. Certainly some areas to address. But Dolphins are the favorites already is a bit early.
  6. Hmm I’ve only seen about $7 m In restructuring so far. JA and VM only speculation at this time. But if they do those then yes about $22-24m available. Enough to get a G, re sign Poyer, and grab a WR like Paris Campbell. And depending on Motor a RB.
  7. That’s a good place to have the best player.
  8. Hmm he’s got an ego that has him play overly aggressive. Glad Dolphins used $$$ of him.
  9. He got torched a lot the past few years. Not sure he’s a guy who is coachable.. lot of $ for a bit of a me guy. Certainly talented but glad Bills didn’t do it.
  10. Hey I totally respect your opinion. I’m hoping they restructure more contracts. It’s pretty complex stuff. I’ve got my thoughts but certainly doesn’t mean I’m right. If we don’t do much then your spot on.
  11. Think I’m going to wait and see what BB does before any assumptions are made. Let’s see how it plays out 🤷🏻‍♂️.. I think Miller still makes sense. Better players make your team better.
  12. Hmm I’m not sure how this eliminates resigning Edmunds ? They are freeing up cap space for potential moves.
  13. Nobody was shocked but you. Whatever you’re clever.
  14. So hysterical 🙄Yes he certainly lived a long live. Doesn’t mean he can’t be honored.
  15. Sure I’d like him to play a full season. Last year he got injured. Guys get injured. He won’t see the full 6 years of the contract. I’m glad we signed him. In two years we can discuss if it was a good signing.
  16. Why is it a done deal for Davis ? His cap hit vs production is very reasonable. Oliver not so much. Ok we move Davis then where are we at with WR. Draft 2 rookies who need to be #2 and #3. That’s exactly the opposite of supporting Josh and improving the O.
  17. Seems like he played a huge factor in the win in the road vs KC. How did that pass rush look without him ? The NFL is a this year league. Let’s worry about future years when we have to. The Bills with BB will be a contender for years to come but in particular this year.
  18. How about Oliver for Hopkins ? The $ make sense and both teams have needs at added position. Davis moves to the 3rd spot. And Shakir is 4.. add one more late in the draft and all set at WR.
  19. Why would we trade Davis ? Makes no sense. He’s currently our #2, more suited to #3. I don’t think his ankle was right all year coming out of breaks. He’s on his rookie deal.. no way I would trade him. Leaving the Bills with who ?? Love Shakir but who else. We need more not less WR’s.
  20. Seems like a bad match at this juncture. The Jets have some young talented skill players. AR the aloof super star didn’t seem to relish the mentor be patient approach with the Pack rookies. Now the Jets commit likely 2 years to a huge cap hit, regressing diva, media seeking malcontent. Seems like a plan🤓
  21. Yes you nailed it.. hey world I’m giving my all so it’s not on me. Imagine if JA had this approach. And he certainly could equally take that position. But Josh is a leader and Diggs is not. Great Diggs what’s the endgame? I’m great the rest of the team isn’t. Meanwhile ..stop gonna be traded out of the blue to the Boys. Massive lack of self awareness.. but he’s a me guy. It’s not gonna change anything other than to erode his relationship with teammates. Well done.
  22. Absolutely. By the way is he perfect ? Is Josh? Does every player and coach have opportunities to get better? Sure… I’m confused at what’s he trying to accomplish with all his attention seeking dialogue. Basically I’m doing my job.. it’s not on me. The rest need to be better. And despite the Bills redoing my contract and giving me $$$ I’m not happy. This is stuff that should be behind closed doors. It’s the state of the current athlete. The Bills should just say let’s discuss where we can all improve. Otherwise just ignore his immaturity. I’m sure things with Dak throwing him the ball in Dallas would be perfect 🙄
  23. Good idea but he will be long gone by 27.
  24. Wow seems so simple. It’s very unlikely we tag him unless we already have a trade partner. At $17m you better know that. Every team has FA that walk for nothing. The value of him gone vs the Bills spending $17 is the win. Beane is pretty smart. On the whole he’s been good. How did you like our GM’s for the 15 years before he got here? He’s not perfect but he’s a good GM. I expect he will continue to put this team in a position to win.
  25. So you use an example of the Vikings getting a 1st rounder for a pro bowl WR. It’s rare that trades like that occur. It’s not that Oliver for example isn’t a decent player. But at $11M it’s just not good value. Teams want value more than anything. I proposed sending him to ATL ( they need DT and have cap $) and getting starting LB Mykal Walker at around $3M due to his value. And.. we give them a sixth round choice next year. The player + $8M cap relief is like getting the “great” deal like a second round pick.
