  1. I’m happy Vegas has us down a bit. Under the radar then stay healthy!!
  2. Lamar is so much more challenging to coach. Rodgers w his hand picked OC will be set to go. Hackett post Denver disaster then gets Lamar who needs a very specific offensive design. Certainly better than what they have had, but it’s no automatic it will work day 1 🤷🏻‍♂️
  3. The Bills should go Edge and DT with the first two picks in the draft 😂
  4. Your points are solid. If in fact the teams were following the Browns lead. They are not and for good reason. The reasons on Lamar have been presented multiple times. If he thinks his value surpasses Mahomes or even JA he’s delusional.
  5. AM should give back the $ he stole from Ralph Wilson. The only thibg currently going on in sports is that of black athlete privilege. AM is unaware that the NFL has caught up to the cred and rev talent that is Lamar. He’s somewhere between the 12-16 best QB in the league with a downward trajectory. Sorry that’s the facts. And he’s made completely avoidable poor decisions that have impacted his value and reputation. MM doesn’t have the courage to speak to the current black athlete privilege that is overwhelmingly negatively impacting sports.
  6. The talked heads at ESPN are employed by Disney so that’s the kind of dialogue they want..
  7. The Ravens are a well respected franchise. I don’t happen to like them but they have been for years. They will outlast Lamar and imho they have handled this respectfully. Newsome is a front office legend and it’s a top 10 NFL organization. Oh it’s already ugly! RGlll trying to make his name 💯 support of players against the “man”. Lamar is over his head and yes the NFL is a machine.
  8. Seems to be working out well for Lamar.. well played
  9. I think in each of these cases, they were aware of their market value. Lamar for a variety of reasons sees his value significantly higher than the market. He’s been offered a great deal that for some reason he’s not good with. Had he taken that offer I would have agreed not having an agent would have worked. But QB is the highest paying position by far and encompasses a certain “face of the franchise” aspect to it. It’s more $, more term, and generally more complex contracts. While the average agent typically gets 3%, he could have demanded 1% and I think someone viable would have taken it. 1% of 150m is a fair amount at $1.5m but keeps the high profile leader of the team out of the stress of negotiating. Unfortunately a lot has come out with respect to Lamar not being a leader. No further evidence is needed other than comparing him to JA. The two top franchise QB’s in the same draft year. JA hires an agent keeps out of it and continues to be a leader. Lamar does the opposite. JA signs a win win contract and Lamar wants significantly more than that (based on the idiot Browns). Most recently Lamar refutes any and all reporting about what he and his mom and non agent Francis are up to. If your a potential team what about this entices you to offer him a contract ? That’s generously assuming they are of equal talent. It’s crazy and really unfortunate.
  10. I’m guessing he’s the short yardage guy. Cook and Hines are the receiving backs. Hines in particular hopefully gets a screen game going. Bills have been bad at it on both sides of the ball.
  11. Totally agree. I don’t want the Bills to reach. But if the right guy is there I’ve just posed the question why not. Certainly LB and WR need to be considered. But I think if Josh is consistently upright more often …he can find they open guys. Again, if WR or LB are at 27 and the BPA that’s fine. Just RT needs consideration. I’m glad for all the dialogue. First thread I’ve started although I’ve been chiming in on others.
  12. All due respect the NFL doesn’t work like that.
  13. You could very well be right. That’s for the Bills to evaluate. But if they take a RT at 27 they think he’s better and will likely start. And I’d be good with that.
  14. Got ya. Ok I would argue that the RT position has taken an increased value in the current NFL. The Chiefs have handled the OT position better than the Bills have. So that’s my point. I don’t see improving the OL either RT or OG as anything but smart. If that’s in the 2nd I’m fine, just improve it.
  15. Hmm not sure. I’m not saying I’m out on SB at RT. He or another player need to improve that spot. He certainly can run block. Just not sure if with his height inside will work? That’s a solve for our OL coach who is supposed to be a guru. But last year was disappointing with respect to our OL development. Yeah I get you. I wasn’t sure where that was going. Yes the Bills are in fact a SB contender.
  16. I follow you. In fairness to Hollywood KM being injured really takes the comparison out vs the teams. The OL for the Ravens has certainly been above average. I will agree in the right situation Lamar could be solid. He’s also had the benefit of a stout D where 24 points will win most games since his W-L record is impressive.
  17. I’ll take Campbell then at RT in the second. I think my bigger point is not someone to just push SB but to get better at RT. LB and RT first 2 picks.
  18. You make some good points. But while they did not provide him great WR’s the entire O is the RPO set. WR’s seemed to be happy to leave partially because the O is run first but also they don’t see Lamar as an elite thrower.
  19. Outside of LB the Bills greatest need is RT. I’ve been a big SB fan but last year he fell back. BB has mentioned his injury and lack of prep leading into the season. Also blocking in the NFL vs at NI is an adjustment. All that is true but just bringing in a vet to compete isn’t enough. Our QB is Josh Allen let’s continue to improve around him. Harrison from Oklahoma or Jones from Ohio State in the 1st. If SB wins the job great but most likely he become the back up. What do you all think ?
  20. All true. But they created an entire O around him to generate his stats. He will not be good in a traditional O. Good luck to the next OC with him.
  21. All good. You’re right in the sense he got too expensive. We shall see how the Bills fill his spot. It’s the single biggest concern outside of OL improvement.
  22. We don’t have the $ and they like Bates. RT is the next OL move.
  23. Does this mean the Bills have a shot at the 3 back up OL guys that dominated us at home in the playoffs???
  24. Spot on !! I think for the $5m they will want some comp. They will ask for our 2- we give them our 3? Frees up $5 m that can be used for FA LB or OT.
  25. Well each franchise has the right to do stupid things. The Browns seem to be adept at that. Watson to me shouldn’t be able to play this year. His suspension should have been longer. But he has his rights apparently to make a living.I think many NFL fans aren’t too excited about it. Having said that it appears Lamar has miscalculated his worth. And other teams would be foolish to give him a contract offer while being 💯 percent unable to make other FA moves. The Ravens have played this well since Lamar turned down very appropriate offers.
