  1. Why would the Bills actually select HH at 27? To flip him in some deal? When ? Why, if he has first round value would the Bills simply make the trade with the team clamoring for HH? Taking him and hoping for some value that may or may not happen is simply illogical. He’s not a first round QB, and so typically after the first round run QB’s pick back up in the 3rd or 4th round. Bucs and Ravens would be the possible teams of interest along with Dan Snyder’s outfit.
  2. Distant as in another galaxy. JA is not 35… yikes. If someone values HH at #27 super, the Bills trade down. Who after the first 4 are gone will need a QB? Levis may not go in the first so I don’t see anyone making a deal. More importantly the Bills have several needs that don’t include their incredibly valuable first round pick.
  3. OT or LB for me in first unless TCU ‘s Johnson falls to 27.
  4. Feel free to watch TE early in his career vs Phil Rivers. A home loss to the Chargers where PR just messed with TE’s inability to cover backs and TE’s. I too like Sanders but I think the learning curve in the NFL for starting MLB’s with no experience is rough.
  5. That’s fine. But why not go with Campbell is equally athletic 6’5” and currently ready to play that role immediately. Thinking it was a mix on TE as to best position. The two guys we are discussing suggest they have best scenarios as what they are good at.
  6. Good athlete but certainly not in line with replacing Edmunds without significant coaching. He’s a pass rusher type more than coverage LB. Micah Parsons light vs Edmunds the coverage LB. Bills are not picking this particular fella unless he falls to the 3rd and he is put on the edge. Great value at 33-48 if we go that route with Campbell. But who cares if we take him at 27. We need about 3 key spots filled in this draft. # 1 is LB. If he goes at 27 it means they think he’s the immediate starter and that’s ok with me.
  7. I’m fine with a trade back and taking him in the 2nd. But, the Bills likely take the best guy they like in the biggest position of need in the 1st. The Bills then need contributions from drafted positions including WR and RT. After that is the best depth players as they present in the draft.
  8. The criticism from McBeane isn’t negative. It’s a protective approach and seed planting with Josh. They aren’t saying Josh needs to protect the ball better which they certainly could. Obviously I think Josh understands it and is aware of it. And, he will consider it, and then do what he wants. Maybe the first half of the year he will try. But it energizes him and guys like Judon hope he stops running.
  9. I agree. He’s been more of an edge rusher and a good one. But not been in the coverage aspects of the D much. If we had the mike solved already he’d been a great add. But I think Campbell Henley Willams are a better fit. If the 2nd or 3rd is an OT i would like it much better. Don’t see Smith lasting to the 5th. Mingo may be close. He’s got the physicality and good speed to be a nice addition.
  10. Judon knows the deal. He also knows Josh isn’t changing. McBeane have it right but Josh is exactly what Judon described. He plays better that way. Be interesting to see if he can change. I for one want him to play his game.
  11. If so that will come out from Willie’s camp or TMZ. Shocked they don’t have a spin on this. Makes me think not as sensational as you suggest. If it’s not USC Perhaps Willie likes this version of the assault vs drugs, women, and such 🤷🏻‍♂️.. possible I guess.
  12. Could be but could be a comment about USC. I’m assuming if it wasn’t about USC that would come out. You could be right but it’s possible you’re wrong. Either way WM’s TV career doesn’t survive this. Slowly the BB excusers are fading out.You should at least have an idea if you know it’s not this. TMZ or someone would already have it.
  13. Seems like the guy deserved it 😂.. I kid!!! Wow talk about unhinged. Over a USC comment? Apparently WM was slightly disappointed in his Trojans. The beating and the N word!!! Wow smooth talking Willie not so much.
  14. Yes that is true. For that assignment he was outstanding. Move forward, take the hand off, run people over. But that is significantly different than moving to TE or DL. Goal line FB takes not a lot of time or technique/ adaptability. Complete position changes in the NFL are rare. And if done generally involve a undrafted FA. So it doesn’t really work like that.
  15. I’ll buy everything but TE#2 over the needed improvement of the RT position.
  16. Hmm great point I think Milano and Edmunds were a unique pair.. a different look may be the answer in alignment
  17. Who cares he’s a good player. Great tackler. Coverage average is average. PFF likes him whatever that means 🤷🏻‍♂️
  18. You are correct sir. Adding CC brings flexibility and incredible experience and leadership.
  19. What does the conference have to do with it ? Plenty of examples of great lbs have come from the PAC conference. USC for example. If you want to discuss his skills vs Bills system or needs that’s fine. But he’s certainly played very competitive football.
  20. Yes for both Poyer and Hyde. If Damar comes back we now have 2 solid back ups.
  21. Wondering if anyone can find positive fan posts about this guy. From what I’ve read this is an excellent signing.
  22. Good depth signing. With 2 great but aging starters and Damar in some question this in a good move. We saw in particular when we had to go to JJ at S 4 we needed to improve.
  23. Yes agree that I think they prefer to keep him. He’s certainly good and it’s not impossible that he can lead them to the SB. The QB desert is real and the Ravens would be set back if he goes. It remains to be seen how long that set back is.
  24. If an owner felt he was worth it they would give it to him. Of course the NFL is in control. The Browns Watson contract was irresponsible and foolish. That’s not the NFL. Mahomes maybe Burrow ? Josh ? Herbert. Not Lamar he’s just not that good.
  25. Actually, the strategy the Ravens are employing is smart. The non exclusive forces other teams in the NFL to create his current market value which they can then match. They gave him the 133m guaranteed offer which he didn’t think was of value. If they don’t match it they get 2# 1’s which allows them to move on. From a 12-14 ranked qb who has to some degree been figured out, injury prone, who needs an offense geared around his skills. That to me is the making the best of the situation. The Ravens will survive this. Lamar 🤷🏻‍♂️?
