Not really. Fans are going to support teams and over analyze everything. The current sports media driven by espn and ratings generates sports discourse and controversy as a business model. And imho it is over the top and not always productive or of value. And yes we do feed off of that. Greg Gumbel seemed to deliver information in a way that was informative and helpful. I get that his role was not opinion based. But on all topics when issues were discussed he brought logic and reasoning.

I had the chance to play HS football against Conlan as I went to Randolph .. great athlete in 3 sports. And I was fortunate enough to play Rec league basketball with Chuck Christ and he was an outstanding basketball player. And a great guy! Bergey as noted above was for a few years one of the most dominant defensive players. At a time when D could play with the physicality the league no longer allows. A tackling machine who intimidated the middle of the field.

He played in the NFL at the same time as Marv Hubbard/Randolph/Oakland and Chuck Christ/Salamanca/NYGiants. Amazing all three from the Southern Tier small schools.

Wow you lost me at Coleman has not impressed in the slightest. Worthy seems better with other wr talent around him now. Coleman has shown me quite a lot. But they are different style players. I’m fine with it. If Coleman makes a few more big plays can you start another thread on this? Oh and we got DT Carter as well who has shown promise before he got banged up. The Bills wanted a wr who can contest for the ball in the air. So hence Coleman. That’s assuming the Bills didn’t try to move up?

Bills OL very physical. Add back Shakir and Cooper. Bills will score on ravens but can they stop them 🤷🏻‍♂️.. ravens peaking past few weeks as Bills did for several weeks. Who peaks when in clutch ? What team is healthy and can Lamar overcome his clear drop off in play when it really matters ?

Not me. They played reasonably well and get the standard favorable calls. Playing them in KC you need to win by 10. Anything close is going to swing KC.

They showed you what they are going to do. Kareem is next guy up and has earned that by being in the building on PS for months. Hyde is about 6 on the depth chart. Could change but they showed this last week. I’ll trust McD on DB decisions.

Jets looking strong on both sides. Rams played perfect O against Bills. Jets are going to be a very tough opponent next week.

His TE dropped a first down pass after the D held at midfield. That was the turning point in the game. Yes Stroud was emotional but the Texans still had chances. The missed PAT didn’t help.

I’ll give you that. The entire Bills team did not play well that game. Certainly the run D was part of that. But that was one of many reasons.

Well Patty was complaining about 3 games in 11 days!! I actually think CW will outplay what we have seen from PM so far this year. He’s not been good.
