Jeremiah has us taking a DT at 28 in his latest mock
QLBillsFan replied to Pine Barrens Mafia's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yes he has a similar skill set to Oliver. We need more depth behind Jones as later in the draft DT’s are plentiful in the Oliver mode. Sweat and the big DT from Texas AM are the other DT’s who fit in the Jones mode. 2nd or 3rd round. Then in 4th-6th get the other DT. Just my thoughts 💭 -
I get ya on Simmons. Blackman a bit younger and possibly his best seasons are ahead of him. Due to some injuries concerns might work at $5-6M/2 years 🤷🏻♂️
-
Russ is gonna develop Russ. If he plays well Steelers resign him. If he struggles Fields gets a shot. But make no mistake Russ isn’t helping Fields he’s not know as a team guy.
-
The Bills I’m sure would love to trade him at this point. The cap hit would destroy any semblance of building this year’s roster. Diggs signed the extension and knows this. He’s a diva who loves attention and he is fully aware he can’t be traded.
-
Yeah throws bombs in most critical time against KC and Diggs drops it… tired of the diva. If not for the cap issues he would have already been gone. Dude has no mirror or emotional intelligence.
-
Like the KC game ? Where Diggs dropped the excellent pass for Josh at a critical juncture of the game?
-
By the way Shakir was drafted for his WR flexibility. He can play in or out and did effectively in college. BB has an open view of the team concept in his WR room. I’m guessing Brady the OC said “hey BB go get Samuel, and let’s put the incredibly versatile Shakir on the bench. “
-
Love Gabe Davis. Not at $ 13M so the Bills get Samuel and resign other players. Crowder got injured and Sanders was ok. Outside these walls a lot of people are thinking the Jags overpaid. Not that they have ever done that repeatedly with WRs 😂
-
I love Shakir and think he potentially could be a#2 at some point. You are picking only the data you want. How about the post having Samuel at 3rd in the NFL on separation? Don’t like that ? It doesn’t support your arguments. You are providing only what you want to see.. and zero possibility of upside given Allen, the Bills OL, Cook.
-
Ok well I disagree. You were comfortable with a #1 WR at 28 having more impact than Samuel? I would disagree. Come back and gloat since you have this all planned out. If not can you admit you’re wrong? Cant imagine how you see multiple good receivers as not helping the Bills. Saying they are terrible signings is bit much 🤷🏻♂️… The 2 WR from last year didn’t nearly have the upside Samuel does. Should be a fun offseason for you. Enjoy !!
-
At 28 the Bills take Worthy so add it all up and it’s a better group than last year. Samuel is 27, on the upswing of his career. Who exactly would you have wanted at that FA value who stretches the field ??
-
Wow not consistent with Samuels production on teams with average QB play at best… so agree to disagree based on the data that is being shared. He’s an underneath guy who gets open and has YAC. Hollins fills the 4/5 role and that is ok by me!
-
😂 it’s unlikely that it’s enough value to your point. WR, DT or bpa.. just saying we don’t have to go WR at 1.. maybe Legette in 2nd. Although adding Worthy with that speed and suddenly our receiving core looks fine👍
-
Think this allows Bills to take BPA at 28 from WR, S, DT 🤷🏻♂️..
-
Nobody cares what Diggs diva has to say. By the way X/Twitter is as much a forum for players to mess with fans while keeping their brand in the spotlight. Thats all.. he will be here one more year and I happy about that. Like his play on the whole so glad he’s on the Bills.

Arik Armstead released, signs with Jax
QLBillsFan replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall
Spot on!!!Why on earth would the Bills move Douglas??? He our best CB by a wide margin. We need another CB in the draft but no way is Douglas getting moved for any reason. -
Our starting Center isn’t on the roster yet
QLBillsFan replied to Big Blitz's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah I’m thinking depth C in 4th or 5th round. Some really good value at that spot. I would be shocked if they go C in 2nd. WR,S, DT go 1-2 depending on the remainder of FA. -
Shakir is being underestimated. The highest target to catch ratio.. so as a solid 2/3 he’s going to be a very important part of this O!!
-
How do the team's moves so far impact the Bill's draft needs?
QLBillsFan replied to GASabresIUFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
And they brought them both back. Good news. WR, S, Edge, C/OG, DL, OT, LB. -
He’s played excellent football. Can’t imagine how you can see this as anything but positive. Doesn’t mean the Bills won’t draft another DT but this was critical.
-
I was not aware he’s a liability against the run? Is data showing that? Just trying to understand. Very young guy still certainly with pass rush and pass blocking skills. Can’t replace too many players in one position area. Allows Bills to focus now on adding one more DE either via draft or veteran. Good move I say 👍

Dion Dawkins doesn’t like the Jets DL very much
QLBillsFan replied to Buffalo_Stampede's topic in The Stadium Wall
DD is a good LT in this league. He’s a fun loving guy and like able. But this seems a bit over the top.. why instigate your opponents at this point. Perhaps spend a bit more time getting fit so your qb isn’t under pressure on key plays? I kid I kid.. but just seems unnecessary. -
They didn’t hand them Mahomes. Mahomes is great in part because he plays for the best coach in the NFL. The Bills got TW and leverage to get Dawkins and Edmunds. JA would have at least 1 SB if playing for AR.
-
Total speculation on my part. My thought is when the Bills grilled him about his involvement in the case , he may have not told them everything. I’m not saying he was guilty but perhaps the Bills got a bit blindsided by some aspects of the case. Otherwise the Bills are just incompetent as he is clearly better than who they have had since.
