  1. This is a historic WR draft. Stay at 28 or trade back a bit. Draft both WRs at 35 and 60.. then still can replenish the other needs. Going up is too much loss of value.
  2. No thanks! I think BB makes zero trades up. Maybe trades back to 35-40. Then takes 2 WR.. some combo of Legette, Franklin, McConkey, or Pearsall. If we trade I think it’s Aiyuk for #28. But then back to a $25-30 m contract. So instead, BB rolls the dice like the Packers and drafts 2 high 🤷🏻‍♂️
  3. Shakir was a multiple skill set. He’s capable of both the Gave and Beasley roles. Don’t know if he’s a #1 but don’t care. He’s going to catch 80-100 and surprise some people.
  4. I bet he won’t want the ball much 😂
  5. I get ya .. but had he stayed with the Bills and wanted to be here he’s making the$$$.. He’s betting that he will make up that $$$ after this year with another similar or higher deal. I just don’t see it based on his production as no longer being a superstar #1. But I could be wrong. He’s going to get more than $ 37m after his year in Houston? Ok could be.. I don’t see it.
  6. No at 31-32 he will get a 1 maybe 2 year deal. Those deals go to 25-28 year old guys on the upswing.. with limited drama. He walked away from a two year deal with the Bills to a one year deal with the Texans. So he’s betting he will make at least that much in yr 2 somewhere. Could be, but I don’t think so.
  7. Oh I get he wants to play with his brother. Just seems not a great financial plan. I wish Diggs well and he was very good with the Bills. But I’m glad he’s gone.
  8. Oh well then it’s brilliant to void guaranteed $$
  9. The most amazing part of this trade is Diggs and his arrogance .Allowing the Texans to only commit to one year of his remaining deal. Essentially demanding a trade and giving up at least $20m. Even if he has a good year, at 31-32 he’s not getting another deal at 20$M+… he must hate the Bills, and they must hate him! And side note the Texans think they are SB contenders this year. Maybe they are, but good luck with 3 receivers wanting the ball from a 2nd year qb.
  10. Good luck to Stroud who had zero pressure last year. He gets an aging diva who demands the ball. When last year he just played.. Josh is probably thrilled Brady can dial up plays that can go to any receiver!
  11. I certainly do .. thought the cap hit was too much 🤷🏻‍♂️
  12. Josh will never be in the top 3 or so in pass completion % in the current stadium. 3-4 games a year, the wind has an impact. In fact it’s amazing he’s as high as he is. That and his off script as they say keep it lower than elite. Compare with opposing QB’s at home I’m guessing he’s higher. In the new stadium perhaps. Having said that, for the next 5 years I’d rather have him than anyone.
  13. Trade back to 35-40 and pick up an early 3rd. WR, DL, S from those 3. Trade a couple of the late picks to move up. And draft 6 from 128-189. Picks 9 players, every one of which has a solid shot to make the team.
  14. Exactly our 2nd string lb was out.. most teams 3rd string lbs are not going to guard Kelce as 95% of 1st stringers can’t
  15. I would surprised if Samuel is returning kicks. TJ is likely and right now Shakir for punts. If Bills do draft more than 8 I suspect a designated return guy is drafted late to compete.
  16. I’ve mentioned they don’t want to change it. You apparently think it’s a good plan to continue as is. That’s fine. I just don’t agree. So agree to disagree.
  17. Yeah I’m a bit confused. BB signs a 4th DT to compete with other FA’s and Rookies. A 4-5th WR to do the same. They have like maybe 60-65 guys signed. So add in 11 rookies and these vet signings are not taking $ away from the drafted rookies. To get these 2 DT’s in a tough market is great. If a rookie beats them out then fine. AJ Klein played because the Bills were decimated with injuries and not too much available talent is hanging around in January. Both starting LB’s were injured so… ? BB can’t sign 25 year old up and coming players at every position of need to $8 M 3 year deals.
  18. We do not know that. We also brought in Clapp. It’s possible the Bills take JPJ at 28 but unlikely. Barton the G is more likely of C/G. Yet both are probably not either available or where the Bills go. But I think DE becomes a possibility if Chop is around or someone falls. BB has done enough in FA that some of these positions certainly are way more possible than we thought 🤷🏻‍♂️DE, WR, DT remain most likely.
  19. He will back up Oliver. Johnson at 310-315 backs up Jones. Williams was in a 3-4 5 tech DL position rushing in a contain position over the OT. The Bills DTs are more attack style. He’s 303 and has started 44 games over the past 4 years. Around 50% snaps. If he remains the 4 DT, he should get 30-35% snaps. Good fit. Remains to be seen if he and Johnson bring more as backups than the past few years. Certainly hope so!
  20. I have no misunderstanding. Zero is zero. It’s absolutely insane to have plays go well past that then create a big question . The league of course created this but it’s ridiculous. Get the play into the headset, qb call your reads, snap the ball.
  21. The rookies will cost 2-4M and BB said he had about 6-7$ M before DT Williams. The rookies can beat him out or not. With $10 M the Bills have plenty of $$ if they want another impact vet post draft like Floyd last year. I don’t think you’re an idiot but the Bills will have these vets and some rookies make the team. It’s a balance. 11 rookies are not making this roster because the Bills already have good backups. Now if they see an amazing DT at a value pick they will take him. If not they have a 4 man rotation set to go because BB wisely added these 2 “old” vets. Perhaps they will go after DE, WR, and S earlier than DT. But if they get Newton at 28 the DT it’s because he’s the best guy and not a reach. More likely they get DE or WR. But imho he is positioning the Bills to have a very good draft of 8-9 guys who have a great chance to make the team. WR, DE, S, CB, RB, OT, LB, DT, KR. One of each could make the Bills.
  22. These are veterans to add depth in areas of need. Jones clearly was a must resign and DTs have a decent shelf life. The Bills got younger at S and OL with the vet releases as difficult as that was. No 23-24 year olds on rookie contracts are available as depth, these guys are. Per the BB way he is going to have 3-4 need areas but this allows him to take the best player and not reach in the draft.
  23. Cole Bishop & Myles Cole 😂
  24. I have an opinion that the thread is not serious. I can have that and still debate. The intent wasn’t an attack, perhaps the word joke bothered you and that’s fair. Josh knows his body and his mind. Suggesting based on whatever evidence you provide that he doesn’t work hard is your opinion. It may be his body and mind need a break for some of the time. And I am assuming that he does work in the offseason in his way. He’s just not constantly looking for attention.Burn out is not healthy. And nobody has a more physical season at the QB position than JA. This board spends a lot of time on JA. He’s a top 3 QB with a defensive HC who blew a game his QB had dominated in. His playoff performances (Cincy being the exception) have been outstanding by any measure. Continue the thread but I’ll focus on the other areas of the team/organization that are holding the Bills back from a SB. JA not being one of them. Respect to the thread and I’ll keep attacking words out of my posts moving forward.
