I know NattyBo. My buddy that went to Hopkins used to drink that stuff. I remember going to Preakness one year and drinking so much of that stuff that I could actually see my hangover the next day.

I'll field that. I've had it and It's OK. Nothing too special. I think it's Jamaican? not sure.

Yes, Pacifico is the best. I love that stuff.

I like beer. But if someone hands me a Bud I am less pleased. But I'm not pouring it out or anything silly like that.

'Aints to San Antonio, Albuquerque or LA?
SF Bills Fan replied to Greg de'Ville's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The exact same thought occurred to me. There is a good chance that the LA team will be in Orange County (Anheim) anyway, why not just go slightly south? Build an enormo stadium and the owners have a huge fan base to draw from. San Diego people would feel less abandoned than if the team went to a sight near the Hollywood Bowl, for example. The local TV and radio rights alone would be a pile of cash. Then again, you don't want a 90,000 seat dust collector and a team nobody likes. -

Walt is one odd little dude. He's like Danny in the Shining. Minus the freaky finger conversations. -
Soft Spots for other franchises?

The Browns because my grampa was a big Browns fan. I think the fans are like Bills fans too. When the Browns left, I got really concerned because if they could go, no team was safe. In the NFC, I like the Packers. -

Movign to Albuquerque would be a step back for an NFL team, it's not that big (smaller than Syracuse metro) and there are no big corporations and nothing around it but Santa Fe. San Antonio is in an area saturated with the NFL. But they do have a dome in place. Over the weekend, I was in Houston and my friend from LA was there. He is working with 1 of 3 groups in LA looking to get an expansion team or buy a team. They want an expansion team first. Then, as the second option, they will buy an exisitng one. They don't want some idiot like Benson showing up with his gang. They are looking at the Chargers and the Saints. The Colts were the team they really wanted, but they got the deal for the stadium and left the picture. The Bills aren't even on the radar he said. This is only 1 of 3 groups and I don't know much about the others. My buddy from NO, says Benson is all talk and the Saints won't go anywhere. I think the Chargers are the team that is in danger. Of course, that leaves San Diego open. -

Yeah, he's a well known character actor. He was Big John in River's Edge. He'll be a permanent character now. -

The music on the show is great. I can't think of a show that uses the accompanying music better. -

Rather have them be the team to move to LA than us. At least wait until we all get to NO this year for the game. -
When I saw the topic, that is the one that immeditely popped in my head. Sledgehammer by Peter Gabriel is right up there too.

Other favorite part- The idiot savant Homer meets at the asylum, who can multiply large numbers in his head. Man: Homer, this is Floyd. He's an idiot savant. Give him any two numbers, and he can multiply them in his head, just like that. Homer: Okay. Five times nine. Floyd: Forty-five. Homer: Wow! -
Romanello's south is big and can handle groups. Service and food are great.

First Review -- "Revenge of the Sith"

There are always goign to be negative reviews for every film. There were negative ones for Schindlers List (just to pick one that I recall was a critical lovefest). You can't please everyone. When you have a percentage like 92% positive early word of mouth, that is a mandate to see it. I predict this one does north of 500 million domestic. -
That is a really great place. The Romaello's bought it a few years back. They own about 3 restaurants in the area now. Romaello's South is good too.

Good Buff News interview w/Ralphie

I was in Houston last weekend and that city is enormous. I think it's one of the biggest in the country. I think the metro area has 5-6 million. Denver draws from all over the Rockies and can probably claim TV and radio rights in Salt Lake, Wyoming etc etc. Clevelend is not a big market team. Buffalo with it's regional appeal has to be on par with Cleveland. That one makes no sense. If Cleveland is, then Pittsburgh, Tampa and Kansas City are. So no, it's not. -

I have a bad feeling that Snyder, Jones and McNair as well as a few others could sink the league as we know it. -
I took some friends from Australia and Sweden to the Albright Knox a few years back, and they really liked it and they were very impressed. Take a downtown architecture tour and definitely hit the Darwin-Martin House. Do some research and pick a few buildings downtown and show him those. City Hall, the parkways around the city and Delaware. You need to be able to explain that the Guarantee building was one of the first skyscrapers in the world and that Kleinhans is acoustically perfect and is studied by people from all over. Know your architects. Drive by the new Bioinformatics and Hauptman center to show that new acclaimed buildingss are going up even today. For restaurants, go to Park Lane, Hutch's and those types (stick with the proven winners). Hit the Falls and maybe go up to Niagara on the Lake and check out some of the old vineyards for a day of wine tasting. If you want some adventure, hit the whirlpool rapids in one of those jet boats. I had no idea that existed and I went a few years ago and it was a blast. I'd also hit a baseball game. The Japanese love baseball, thats a can't miss. If he's younger and not a nerd, that opens up many more possibilities. Then you have the ballet, Chippewa and gambling that alone can make any man happy. Good luck.

First Review -- "Revenge of the Sith"

Agreed, the bad ass characters are Darth Maul, Darth Vader, Greivous etc. They build the Death Star. The leader of the Jedi is a small green midget that retreats to a swamp when the going gets tough. -

From a review, not a spoiler really, but I put it in yellow: "By avoiding excessive reverence, Lucas makes the first appearance of the black mask and costume a moment of profound sadness....while there's an admitted thrill to hearing the voice of James Earl Jones, the content of some of Jones' lines is unlike anything we have previously heard from the voice-box of Vader. Not all eyes will be dry by the end of Revenge of the Sith. " -

When I see the commercial with Darth Vader being raised up with his uniform on, I get the chills. I can't wait for this! -
Hell yeah!
