  1. The first game I went to there, Flutie came in and almost won the game for us when Johnson went down. The second game, he won for the Chargers when he ran it in at the end. San Diego is a great place to catch a game even if you lose.
  2. I'm headed down. This will be my 3rd Bills-Chargers game in San Diego. There is usually a huge Bills gang there. I know the Bills-Backers groups in SoCal represent well from LA and San Diego and Orange county and lots of people will come down from SF Bay area. One big upperdeck section is usually filled with Bills fans.
  3. Get rid of it. Just show highlights.
  4. I've wanted him to play all along. Yesterday made me very happy. I'll be in SD next week and I can't wait to see him play in person. He better play.
  5. The Saints will likely be the team.
  6. Mothers, Colter Bay and Fahertys are all good as alternatives to Chippewa. Try the wings at Gabriel's Gate. Don't drink too much at the game-you will ruin your night. Pace yourself. Have a good visit
  7. I'm still going down. I'm not sure if we'll be allowed near there though. I live right there too and I can already see this being a zoo.
  8. He is going attend a play on Sunday called Beach Blanket Babylon which is right across the street from the North Star. Too bad we won't all be in the bar on Sunday when he goes. They probably scheduled his trip around the bye week to avoid some kind of thing from happening. This was my big chance to make international news. "Bills Fan Attacks Prince".
  9. I didn't get the pm until yesterday- sorry. I went to the North Star after a party, as you would imagine things are blurry. Thank you for the invite, though. Let's go to the North Star this sunday and watch the Comeback game and pretend that things are A-OK.
  10. Kelly Holcomb has been playigng well, but this season is not happening. We need to develop Losman. Troy Aikman was talkign abotu this and was mentioning that he was 0-11 until they won their first game and went 1-15 his first year. He said things didn't gel until just into his second season as a starter. So where will this leave us with JP? If he is indeed the future, when is that future- 3 years from now? look at Eli Manning- he went through his growing pains. Kelly played in the USFL for two years before we got him. This is merely pushing back JPs development.
  11. Mom's gone. Now I can act like a drunken idiot again.
  12. You are right, the one drawback in Seattle is the tailgating there. It's pretty much zero. It's in the middle of downtown. The stadium itself is great. The more I think about this guys article- it sucks. Some writers are just wrong and this is one of those writers.
  13. Are you on the North Star bus?
  14. I was told that it was a hotel in Burlingame. Maybe the Hilton?
  15. Candlestick is the worst, The Cardinal's stadium is horrible, but they are getting a new one. He places it in the top third? Good location, but you don't watch the game from on theose buttes. Qwest in Seattle is great- I recall it from going there last year for the Bills game there. Awesome stadium- great location- it's the best hands down. I've always liked Ralph Wilson Stadium. It's a great palce to see a game- great tailgating. I think our rating is a low. Arrowhead and the Ralph are very similar stadiums and I heard that Alltell in Jacksonvilel is the twin of the Ralph. So..whatever.
  16. Lets look to meet when the bus arrives at the lot. Should be about noon.
  17. Yes- that strategy worked well. We'll do it this year too. We snuck in a lot of beer. The only guy that gave me crap last year apologized to me at the half in the concourse. As it turned out, he was a Raider fan that was from Niagara Falls. Total turncoat.
  18. Sounds like an accurate report. It could have been worse.
  19. Anybody who will be going to the Bills-Raiders game this weekend and wants to get on board the North Star bus, please contact Mark Jennings at 415-397-0577 or email Mark at northstar-kellys@sbcglobal.net The bus will leave the North Star at 11 am. It is $20 and includes lot of booze. You will need your own ticket. Last year people had extras and this one will not be sold out, so you have a decent chance of getting them before we leave or scalping. The Raiders never sell out because they suck. The bus is also nice because it ensures some safety in numbers as the fans there are a little crazy. Let Mark know right away. For all of you out of towners- the North Star is at Powell and Green in North Beach.
  20. I'm going to go with Willis McGahee. Lindell has completely exceeded my expectations. I was down on him last year, but he has made a great comeback.
  21. I was at a wedding in Sonoma. I got there just after the game ended in time for some celebratory beers. I'll be there this week. I'll be there tonight too.
  22. I just fall down and lay there like a slug...it's my only defense.
