Yes- that strategy worked well. We'll do it this year too. We snuck in a lot of beer. The only guy that gave me crap last year apologized to me at the half in the concourse. As it turned out, he was a Raider fan that was from Niagara Falls. Total turncoat.

Anybody who will be going to the Bills-Raiders game this weekend and wants to get on board the North Star bus, please contact Mark Jennings at 415-397-0577 or email Mark at northstar-kellys@sbcglobal.net The bus will leave the North Star at 11 am. It is $20 and includes lot of booze. You will need your own ticket. Last year people had extras and this one will not be sold out, so you have a decent chance of getting them before we leave or scalping. The Raiders never sell out because they suck. The bus is also nice because it ensures some safety in numbers as the fans there are a little crazy. Let Mark know right away. For all of you out of towners- the North Star is at Powell and Green in North Beach.

I'm going to go with Willis McGahee. Lindell has completely exceeded my expectations. I was down on him last year, but he has made a great comeback.

I was at a wedding in Sonoma. I got there just after the game ended in time for some celebratory beers. I'll be there this week. I'll be there tonight too.

I just fall down and lay there like a slug...it's my only defense.

He's on his own. I have enough trouble watching myself at these things.

We'll have a big group going from the North Star on a bus. Linking up with other fans there too. The North Star is at Powell and Green in the city. There is also some sort of UB Alumni meeting going on there too. The ticket forthe bus is $20 and includes beer. They also BBQ as well. Let me know if you are interested.

We must rely on McGahee. Mularkey screwed up today, could have run Mularkey more. And our defense will not be top 5 this year. Maybe not even top 10.

Tampa looked good. We were beat by a good club. That is small consolation. Losman is very lucky he doesn't have a pick. He could have about 6 were it not for dropped balls by defenders.

I'll give Lindell credit. He took a lot of heat last year. He is doing very well this year. McGahee is a slow starter. He doesn't seem to hit his stride until later in the game. That is a problem wehn we are behind and go to the pass to catch up. His blocking is a problem at times as well. That said, yesterday was not a typical game for him, so I will not pile it on. I think he'll bounce back. Losman scares me because we do'n know if week 1 is the norm or yesterday is the norm.

Was McGahee hurt? He sure looked tentative. Losman didn't appear to be throwing to anyone at times. Our defense looked horrible. I can't find one bright spot from yesterday, other than we didn't commit many penalties. Losman's game scares me. I'm not pushing the panic button yet. It is clear his development will be a long process.

Cris Carter does not like the Bills, never has.

Odd- I watched it and couldn't figure out how I missed the Bills. That sucks. I boycott. The shows is not nearly as good as it was.

I'm surprised on not on that. There is a girl from last night that would put me on that.

It's true, he just looks scary. He has no neck it seems like. His head appears to be made of rock. Its a miracle that he chose the Bills when he left Cincy. He's a Bruce Smith type impact player without all the whining and prima donna bull. And he has one of the coolest names I've ever heard in sports or anywhere.

Very reasonable on the part of this guy. Some guys would get greedy and demand $$. I'm sure this will be an easy exchange.

Yes it was. I will never forget it. We were dominating them and then boom, that guy hits Sam on the side of the leg and low. It was so deliberate. F*%k him. We lost that one and it wasn't the same. Revenge is on my mind.

What a great time. Glad to have you back in the Bay Area! Man, I was loaded after the game. If the Bills keep it up this year, I will have many very happy boozy Sundays at the North Star. Of course, I will be back Sunday morning. This one will be tougher. Mark is starting to plan for the Bills-Raiders game- we had a blast last year. I'm getting my San Diego airline ticket today. I don't have game ticket yet, we should coordinate that.

I wish I were going to this one. I heard there are lots of good looking women in Tampa. Would have been a good weekend. I talked to a guy yesterday at the Bills bar in San Francisco and he is going. This game will be a tough one- a good test for the Bills early.

Check out the shot of all of us in front of the bus. I'm wearing that "Super Bills" tie-dye. I went into the Raiders stadium with that. It's a mircale I lived. I did sneak in a six pack of tall boys which I passed out to the Raider fans around us (I'm still not sure how I go those in). That helped me make it through unscathed.
