  1. Oh it is on. There is no way I lose this one!
  2. My 11 month old son just got up from a nap and my wife (who is from Dallas) points at the TV and say "is that you team?". The war has begun.
  3. There are so many that you could put in here. Top 5 is tough- I'd expand to 10. Many good games were before my time, So i would miss many. But I would put the Houston comeback at # 1. Even the NFL recognizes that as one of the greatest games in it's history. The 51-3 destruction of the Raiders is top 5 too.
  4. I see nothing earthshaking or really different.
  5. The Rams will be heading back- I firmly believe that. The Raiders might not be far behind. The Bills always get thrown on the potential movers list, but that is by people with no real grasp of the situation in Buffalo.
  6. Absolutely stupid planning by Atlanta on the Georgia Dome. Same thing with St. Louis and their dome. These things are not old and they are already deemed to be obsolete? Find a way to upgrade the Georgia dome cheaply and live with it.
  7. What do the the PC police want? The Pattycake Bowl? Talk like this reinforces that this country is going down the tubes rapidly.
  8. I am curious as to the terms. I know that the Bills don't officially release those as a matter of policy. It will get out though.
  9. McGahee was solid player for the Bills and Broncos. Too ad he shot his mouth off about Buffalo. Now he is free to go to move to soem big time, happening city and spend all his cash and go broke.
  10. Damn. I had that first game at home with them pegged as a win. Now I am certain we will be clobbered.
  11. Yeah huge red flag. Take PEDs and beats women- how did we think he'd be good for us? I'll admit I bought in for a bit.
  12. He also dated Tila Tequila. Terrible.
  13. I saw the stadium for the first time a few weeks ago. It certainly is impressive even in it's unfinished state. Too bad they left San Francisco, but the San Jose fans will be much happier.
  14. Het Nitro- when was the last time you were out this way and in the Presidio? I think you would find it to be vastly different. When I first moved here, it was transitioning from the military to a park. They have transformed it completely. Lots of companies moved in to the old military barracks and office buildings. Lucas has his studio there now. The waterfront has been completely redone. I go there all the time with the kids. Presidio Bowl still remains! My favorite place in the park. You should check it out some day.
  15. I think the Bills are definitely leaving money on the table. If I am correct, Rich Stadium as one of the first stadiums to sell naming rights. Now we are woefully behind the times. Levis certainly makes sense for San Francisco. I've been out here for 20 years now and I'm surprised they didn't try to name it Indigenous Peoples and Gay and Lesbian Friendly Park and have some white guy in a suit come out and apologize for something before every game.
  16. I'd say this is accurate given we are in year 1 of a rebuild with unknowns at QB, coach and lots of fresh faces.
  17. No surprise at all after the Marlins debacle. What are the taxpayers of Miami-Dade on the hook for with the new stadium? 1.2 billion if not more? It will be a fun 20 years in that white elephant of a stadium with crowds of 500 people. Loria ruined it for all the other fat cats.
  18. Crud- instead of playing a tough team like that outside in December to our advantage, we play them in a venue that is similar to their home- indoors and quiet.
  19. I've always worn a Bills hat to games away. I've Ben to San Francisco, Seattle, Oakland and San Diego and never had a problem. I got more comments at a home game on Monday night against Dallas. That was a brutal night- lots of Dallas fans in Buffalo and fights all over.
  20. I love it. People that can't take it need to lighten up. This has brought on plenty of Buffalo bashing on the boards. Who cares? When you give it, you gotta be able to take it too.
  21. Sabres- I thought we were turning the corner 2 years ago when Pegula came on board. We had some good young talent in place, great goaltending and we made what seemed like some good free agent picks ups for some top money- the like of which the Sabres don't typically spend. Pegula has the deep pockets to make it happen. Yet, now we are starting over with a new coach, management (geez- this sounds like the Bills) and on the verge of a firesale. I had high hopes for Sabres. The big difference is the much more stable ownership with Pegula. On the plus side, the Sabres can make a quicker turnaround, I believe.
  22. If it were one of our players, I could just see the headline- "NFL Player Comes Out of the Closet and Tearfully Admits He Is A Buffalo Bill".
  23. That Dolphins stadium looks good! Hate to admit I like anything related to that team.
