  1. Giving that speech that was well received and then going out and putting in a solid outing with a win will be huge for his confidence.
  2. I am sure tgey have rules on commenting publicly before the approval is done. There is little to say at this point. My guess is lots of call and meetings are happening. I'm sure Pegula abd Jerry have talked.
  3. He needs to do anything to maximize the return on investment. They will figure out a way to honor Ralph
  4. Here is my list of big events: The team being established. This is so obvious, I won't count it. Also, I am sure some people were probably not sure what the AFL was. #1 Beating the Raiders and going to that first Super Bowl- man we were all on cloud 9 that week. #2 This week #3 Jim Kelly signing #4 New stadium in OP
  5. I was going to say no until I saw #3. That sealed it as yes.
  6. It will be 100%. He can build his own stadium and likely will at some point. That is what the owners want long term. Think about it- he could have Gary Bettman vouch for him if he wants. This is a slam dunk.
  7. I think Woody Johnson was in favor of the Bills staying. He knows they are part of the AFL legacy. Kraft also was quoted as saying something similar. I think Kraft will easily vote yes for Pegula, but I think he would have just as quickly voted yes to Bon Jovi.
  8. Would have been nice to know before and save my hair falling out and turning grey!
  9. Nope- I may need a celebratory drink myself.
  10. It is astounding how he came seemingly from nowhere at the perfect time to get the team. It is such an un-Buffalo type awesome resolution. Normally things would be tragic.
  11. I would not be surprised if some kind of shenanigans are pulled. Because Buffalo.
  12. I'll spot you $10
  13. No matter what, the group that wins must be able to demonstrate a commitment to keeping the team in the area. I just don't want to even hear about anyone from LA trying no matter what they say.
  14. Solid outing. I was watching with a group of fans and I noted to another fan that EJ was getting plenty of time. Next play was a sack. Outside of that, it seemed like they played well. It didn't seem like they run blocked well, yet the stats say otherwise with almost 200 yds rushing. I'll take it.
  15. All this talk of Fred being old at 33 is making me feel ancient. Go Bills!
  16. Solid- we still have lingering questions- but stumblebums dont win games- we earned that.
  17. It's a hundred and six miles to Chicago, we've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark, and we're wearing sunglasses. Hit it
  18. Northstar in San Francisco- no food there. But they have Molson and Labatts.
  19. I think the game is not going to be the easy win for Chicago like prevailing wisdom believes. The Bills have a good D and Chicago was last against the run last year- our big strength. The Bills are a huge question mark right now, but if we lose, it will be close. Good bet IMO.
  20. Awesome! Way to enter the season with everyone unified and on the same page.
  21. Agreed- Ralph entered in to the lease with just enough time for everyone to get the ducks in order for a long term solution. It was very generous and stopped a bidding war with LA and TO groups that I cannot see Pegula winning.
  22. I'm in Niners and Raiders country. Don't care for either and ignore both.
  23. I know what it was...Marrone likes Duffs wings and Whaley is partial to the Anchor Bar.
  24. We already had him once
