I saw that the Microsoft machine that has been predicting games this year has the Bills winning. It got the Chicago game wrong but correctly picked Miami and San Diego games.
I think he may still have a home in Hamburg. Or he did for a while after he coached. I liked Wade. He was a winner and he got a raw deal from Bills management after the Tennessee game, I believe.
He is from Jamestown before moving to DC. So he has roots in the area and has said he knows how important the Bills are to the area. But yes- I think he is more of a Giants fan.
No- this Bills sale is one of the few positives happening recently. It's a feel good story- small fan base rescued by local billionaire, team staying and so forth. They won't be able to approve it fast enough. The only difference is that it won't be the biggest news out of the meeting. All the Goodell talk will be.

Without Pegula, our owner would have been Trump or Jon Bon Jovi. I guess Golisano was ready to step up, but seriously.. WTF? It would have been a shambles.
I had this one as a loss, but now I see it as a winnable game. If the crowd is even 80% of what they were yesterday, that can help carry the team to a win. Rivers and Gates are going to be tough duo to stop.
I forgot who it was, but someone hit a Dolphin and his helmet popped off. That looked like it was tough for both players. I bet you could hear that one.
I feel they are playoff caliber- they need to put up more points. The several trips to the redzone that produced only field goals was troubling. Beat New England in a month at home, then I will believe we are playoff material.
I am pretty balanced and even keeled when when it come to predicting Bills victories, but I think we will beat Miami this week and it won't even be close. I rarely bet on sports and NEVER on the Bills and I am putting money on this.
I think the concussion issue was/is more significant. The NFL seems to be getting past that. I think Goodell will survive this issue, though it will have permanent ramifications for penalties and tolerance of things beyond the usual PED type suspension.
Baseball survived the steroid scandal and came out fine and the NFL will make it through this with no real damage. The institution of the NFL is too big for one player to damage.
