He is also a leader in the locker room. I heard that he got up this week and gave a speech that fired everyone up. That's the type of thing that Kapaernick never did, for example. He would sit in the corner with headphones on speaking to no one. Taylor has the team willing to follow him. It's a great quality.

Brian Moorman is "leading the charge" vs Miami
SF Bills Fan replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Moorman was our most valuable player for a stretch. A very dismal dark stretch of time. -
What song best describes the Bills at Mid-Season?

Raiders are definitely a team on the rise. I feel Carr will be franchise QB for them. Niners fans would gladly trade out Kap for Carr

Phantom call on Robey =Royally Screwed in England
SF Bills Fan replied to Bocephuz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bad call but I'm not going to point to that as an excuse for the loss. The loss was in a myriad of other bad plays, mistake,s poor tackles etc. -
If rather see the Rams go back and pretty sure that will still happen. I would not be surprised if Raiders quickly do the same. Crazy to think that we had that Sword of Damocles hanging over our heads for so long, though I think the fear of the Bills moving was worse than the reality of the situation as the odds were slim. If not Pegula, some other group would have come together or Golisano would have bought them.

No drinks before Noon on Sunday...
SF Bills Fan replied to ricojes's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
6:30 am out here and the Northstar Bills bar will be open and streaming game. No laws against selling alcohol early on Sunday here so it will be a bleary, blurry drunken early morning I'm sure -
We will win by at least 10

ok, time to make your prediction!!!

I hate to say it- not feeling it tomorrow. I think it'll be 27-17 Bengals. I'll be extremely happy if proven incorrect. -
LAMP - Just Met Fred Smerlas
SF Bills Fan replied to devldog131's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Fred's book is one of the funnier memoirs I recall reading. Lots of hilarious stories from the 80s Bills leading up to when they got great with Kelly etc. I met Fred at camp in Fredonia when I was a young kid. He sticks in my memory as a nice guy. -
Turnover on the Opening Kick Return
SF Bills Fan replied to ganesh's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree with those that said he was iffy on offside. It was extremely close. Lots of special teams calls go uncalled unless they are glaring. And they rarely get called. We are getting called for a lot of them this year. -
Bengals fans reaction to QB situation in Bflo
SF Bills Fan replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Pretty much saying the kind of stuff we'd say if it were reversed. -
I thought the combo of the extra week and Dick LeBeau's manning would be trouble and it was. Throw in the injuries and it's a surprise won. What is annoying is we have our bye week and play Miami- who has a Thursday night game, so will have 10 days off before they play us, so it negates a good chunk of the bye advantage. It really seems like schedule is designed to screw us.

The first TD that Tyrod ran in sounded like a home crowd. I thought I was hearing things. I watched the highlights a bit ago and it was indeed a massive cheer. How many Bills fans were in that stadium?

It is incredible how great things worked out for us Bills fans 1 year ago. Bills fans are the most unlucky fans lately in terms of win-loss and how we lose (wide right, etc.). But the Pegula family taking over was the greatest miracle we could have given to us. I feel that someone would have stepped up- Golisano, perhaps. But, we got the best case scenario possible. And then to have Ralph's estate announce that 500 million of the sale price will be put back into WNY? Wow. I'd welcome a team in Toronto to give us a great rival up there. It would be best for an NFC team as the Toronto Bills fans could still root for us as their AFC team. I hope the Rams go back to LA, though. Ideally, the Chargers stay put and the Raiders make the move. I feel that the Jags will one day be in London as Khan seems to claim that territory as his. I think they could move a team there, but Pegula would probably get a significant paycheck. I would not be surprised if it was in the 500 million range.

We should see the true character of this team soon
SF Bills Fan replied to Rubes's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
There is always a head scratching loss. I don't think this week but Tennessee could be that one as they look ahead to Cinci. If (and it's a big if) they stay focused, beat Cinci at home, I think we will be 8-1 for the big rematch with Pats. If we thought the hype was big week 2 wait til that one. -
OK, Bills have 59% chance of making the playoffs!

I'll be convinced they are playoff team when they run on the field for that playoff game -
Maybe Roman wasn't the problem in SF - musings from Bay Area

Jed York is terrible. As Niners fans say now "Who has it better than us!? EVERYBODY!" -
Maybe Roman wasn't the problem in SF - musings from Bay Area
SF Bills Fan replied to GG's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bingo- I have discussed this with Niners fans (who know football) and Roman gets a lot of credit for his work here. He did a ton with Kap, Davis, Gore and no receivers. He knew how to use Kap and he knows how to use Taylor. These guys are very similar though everyone has been saying Kap is a much better QB than Taylor- time will tell there. We got the best possible OC to come in and use the weapons the Bills have. Savvy head coaches like Ryan know it- they can turn the play calling and responsibility over to Roman and not worry. Roman has to absolutely love the the situation and weapons he has in Buffalo. -
Hammer's Lot Mentioned On MSN Travel!
SF Bills Fan replied to HereComesTheReignAgain's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Buffalo should be higher than Oakland for sure and arguably higher than Cincy and Indy. Ive been to Cincy on a game day and it is not exactly rockin. The Niners new stadium draws mainly complaints too. Also, RWS stadium was upgraded so this guy is behind the times.
