  1. Yep- our loss can't be to the Texans or Jets. If we win out other avenues open up, but most realistically, if we get in its 9-7 with wins over Texans and Jets and with Steelers losing 2. I think the Bengals and Broncos can help us. But don't count out their trip to Baltimore. All games in their division will be tough for them.
  2. From what I understand (and the replay was unclear), he grabbed his jersey. I think the announcers said at first it looked like a bad call and then said he did grab it. It was probably a legit call. London was not. The Maclin call withstanding, the Bills D was reeling at that time. Sloppy tackling, missed assignments. Things snowball when it goes bad like that.
  3. after the Texans this weekend, the Redskins are the one team I am most wary of. If the Bills face a win and in scenario at home last game against the Jets, there is no way Rex allows a loss.
  4. The easiest route into playoffs (and it isn't easy) with the best odds of happening is for the Bills to win Texans, Jets (those are must wins) and 2 of the 3 NFC games. They don't need to win out. The Steelers, facing all AFC teams from here on, can't lose more than one of their remaining games and they face Colts in Indy this weekend, Bengals in Cinci, Broncos at home and then Baltimore and Cleveland both away. That is not easy for Pitt either. I believe big Ben may be out this weekend which could be a big break. I know there is a lot of doom and gloom here and I'm not saying it will happen, I'm just presenting the facts.
  5. ^ That would also explain Detroit's misery. But they have the Red Wings, so they are not quite as low.
  6. No matter how far we sink into the gutter, there is Cleveland at a lower position looking up in envy.
  7. I though we had a shiny new Porsche, but it was really a KIA that got crashed, anyway.
  8. If we had won, coupled with the Steelers and Pats losses and this would have been a glorious day.
  9. Oh this is beautiful. Sadly though, they are doing what we should have done but could not.
  10. Agreed- they need a central review that reviews all plays and can just say if the Maclin catch didn't happen or Hogan made a catch. You could quickly and seamlessly adjust the call. It could be a bit tricky in hurry up time, though. That's what you would need to figure out.
  11. Nitro is right- there is slim chance. But given the loss today- even if we got in, we are not playoff material. Playoff teams can lose to pats in Foxboro, but letting a QB known for check down throws with 3rd stringers in front of him kill u deep is awful, not challenging Maclin catch on first TD, then challenging Woods incomplete then the last 3 plays a stupid coaching mess. Rex was out coached. D has regressed big time. When you start strong like that up 10, you don't let them out of a hole. We let them out of several bad situations.
  12. We deserved to lose with poor play on D, but I'm tired of being on receiving end of bad calls like that. Something was seriously wrong on our communication with the challenges. How did that happen? That was on us.
  13. I think we win this. We stepped up and beat a Jets team that is arguably better than the Chiefs in their building. We almost did it again last Monday. The D is coming together. I think 24-13 Bills
  14. Can't see Steelers winning all 6 remaining
  15. I think it gives a very clear picture of what needs to happen. Obviously, we want 6 wins, but this is pretty accurate to show what the likeliest outcomes will be. I think we will get in. Unless we really screw up. We are in drivers seat.
  16. They lose to Seattle and Cinci, we lose to KC but beat Houston we can still lose one and we are gold.
  17. If we lose Sunday, I don't think we lose to Houston. I am just looking at what are the most likely scenarios. It is more likely that we beat Houston at home. So a loss to KC and to any other team other than Houston to go 9-7 and we are still extremely likely to get in. Given the probable scenario that Pitt will lose at least two of the three likely losses they have.ahead.
  18. If you look at all the most likely scenarios, it's all going to come down to us and Pitt. We win out or lose tomorrow and win the next 5- we are in unless Pitt wins all remaining games. However, we can lose tomorrow and lose another and as long as Pitt loses two, we are in. Luckily, they play Seattle in Seattle Sunday, They also go to Cinci and have Broncos come to town. So they have it fairly tough. If we lose to KC Sunday it is crucial we get a Pitt loss too. My money is on them losing Sunday and to Cinci. We can lose to KC and Washington and still go in.
  19. We win this week and we will be a playoff team. We lose and it's possible, but very tough. I can't see a team that we should lose to after Chiefs.
  20. I'm putting Dallas in the expected win column now. I expected a win before but I really expect it now.
  21. Just beat KC and keep winning is the best shot. This game coming up is the biggest barrier to getting in. We win here and it will start to fall in place.
  22. Kraft, Belichick and the refs are probably sitting in a room smoking cigars and negotiating right now. Kraft: "We'll need at least 11 penalties. Mix it up a bit. 2 personal fouls, 3 interference and maybe 4 holding and an illegal block or two. Jerry Hughes is a good target" Belichick: "I agree" Refs: "We can do only 8 penalties on them and we have to flag you for 3." Kraft: "OK- that is fine. But their penalties need to be on crucial downs, hopefully 3rd and long, especially if the game is slipping away from us. You can call us for some illegal picks, but only on 2nd downs when it doesn't matter" Belichick: "I agree" Refs: "Done" Everyone chuckles in a cloud of smoke.
  23. Some player we have not heard of before will kill us tonight. When we panic and compensate for him, then they will go to Gronk and Amendola and the landslide will start.
