  1. I think that Seattle, Philly and the Pats are the top 3 right now. The AFC is weaker than in past years. Surprise teams could end up being the Texans and the Jags. -------------- Go Bills
  2. Soem upocoming episodes are titled "White Rabbit" (read Alice in Wonderland) and "the Moth" --------------- Go Bills
  3. I read this yesterday and it made my blood boil. Sorry, but they have no right to be driving here to begin with. My buddy got hit by and illegal immigrant a few years ago. Totally the other guys fault. My friend was lucky he wasn't killed. His car was totaled. Of course the other driver had no insurance, no money to pay for a new car. It's great that these roadblocks pick up on these people as an added bonus. But, that's California politics for you to rather Bay Area politics. I'd like to see how Mr. de la Fuente feels when some illegal immigrant from El Salvador with no license, no insurance etc. rams his Mercedes and seriously hurts a passenger in his car. ------------------------------ Go Bills
  4. I agree that this plane definitely has more than it's fair share of good looking women. I'm never on flights with women like that. I knew about the polar bear last week, I read a spoiler site. There is something going on with the comic book. That little kid was reading it and it had a polar bear on one of the pages. This is definitely going to turn into a sci-fi show. For those wondering about the longevity of the show- if the ratings hold, they want this to go on indefinitely. It reminds me of the kinds of shows that ABC put on Saturday nights when I was little. Fantasy Island etc. One question- if the show goes on for a while, isn't the fat kid going to have to start to slim down? How will they pull that off? -------------------------- Go Bills
  5. They have a good system in place. They plug in back-ups and you can hardly tell the difference. ---------------- Go Bills
  6. Regardless, MLB sucks. 49847[/snapback] So true. The way the league is now, we are likely to see 30 years (maybe more) of World Series consisting of the Yankees vs. whichever wealthy N.L. team gets hot that year. And the Yankees winning 75% of the meetings. So ridiculous and certainly not fun. -------------- Go Bills
  7. It would have been nice to have the team initially, but, something tells me that we would have ended up in the same boat that Montreal is in now. I think the Bisons and Triple AAA ball are a better fit for us right now. We get the best franchise in that league rather than one of the worst in the majors. And the Bisons are the champs. Not a bad year for Buffalo baseball. ---------- Go Bills
  8. Many people here might not know that this team was originally all set to be an expansion team in Buffalo. It was a last second deal (literally a few days before announcement) that the decision was made that they would go to Montreal instead. ---------------- Go Bills
  9. I was there with my dad and my friend and his dad. We left and heard the roar of the crowd from the lot. And I remember my dad and my friends dad looking at each other and saying "you don't think...". Then we turned on the car radio and heard of the outcome. It was a great day and now, I never leave games. --------------- Go Bills
  10. The fans in Montreal got shafted by MLB. The league has wanted to get this team out of there for a while. They ran it into the ground. Could baseball compete there anyway? Not in that have vs. have not league. It'll be a tough winter up there- no hockey and the Expos gone. My sympathies. --------- Go Bills
  11. Agreed, any gratuitous nudity will make for a better movie. Go Bills
  12. Starring Halle Berry based ona play written by a guy fro mthere. Anyone hear of this? Can't imagine this will be flattering to the area. --------------- Go Bills
  13. I was at ther Bills-Raiders game and there were at least 10,000 empty seats. And the Oakland Coliseum is smaller than Ralph Wilson. The Raiders have some of the highest tickets prices, but this is in a very wealthy and populated area. If anyone should move to LA, it should be the Raiders (again). -------------- Go Bills
  14. What happened to him? --------------- Go Bills
  15. Thank you very much. --------- Go Bills
  16. The pilot episode was supposed to be 2 hours, but it got split in half. I saw a plot summary for the second part that said that 6 survivors are attacked by a polar bear while hiking. Whatever was hitting those trees and killed the pilot was bigger than a polar bear. Obviously, there is something very weird on the island, if it is an island. You don't really know where they are. Also, someone is a prisoner as you could see by the handcuffs in the next episode and I think the guy from Lord of the Rings had drugs in the bathroom. This looks like it has potential. ------------------------ Go Bills
  17. Was Ed Parsons with you? I sat with him at the game. Yeah, the Raiders fans were all pretty cool. If we had won, it would have been much different. I talked with many fans on the way out and they all gave Buffalo props. I was with the bus that came, we were in lot B and had about 40 fans with us, so we had the numbers on our side. No fights or problems anywhere that I saw. The Niners game a few years ago was way way worse with lots of fights. Stop up at the Northstar for the Bills-Pats game in a few weeks. I need the bye week. -------------- Go Bills
  18. I was there too. It was about as nice of a day as you can get except for the loss. The Raider fans were way more mellow than I expected. The frustrating thing for me was focusing on the receivers, seeing them open and then having Drew sacked. Painful. --------- Go Bills
  19. Hey man, how'd things go for the gang yesterday? --------------- Go Bills
  20. I had no harassment at all. One guy wearing a Gannon jersey gave me the finger at one point and then, later, when I was having a beer at the half, he came over and said he was from Lewiston. What was up with that? Anyway, we had a large group so we didn't have too much of problem at all, but were way up at the top of the stadium in nowhereville It was also interesting to note that there were lots of empty seats. It was not good walking out, but we lost so they left us alone. People actually came up and shook hands a few times. They respect the Bills, but I think if we had won, it would have been a different story. There were many frightening fans there, you could see trouble simmering. You get these fans that wear the outlandish outfits. Everyone's see them on TV, I'm sure. Faces paited, skull masks and all that. Also, this was the only sporting event that I've been to where whites are by far and away the minority. It was a very Hispanic crowd, lot's of Mexican flags in the lot. Not a bad thing at all, it's just interesting to see. I had way more trouble at the Bills-Niners game a few years back. --------------------- Go Bills
  21. Let's see... true true and true. It is painful to watch Bledsoe out there. It's like watching your buddy get sucker punched and you can't get there in time to help. ------------- Go Bills
  22. We are a 6-10 team at best. We were looking at 8-8 and that went out the door yesterday. And I'm a pretty optimistic person. ------- Go Bills

  24. It is painful to admit, but the numbers don't lie. Losman is the answer. I am 100'% certain that the Bills would have won with Losman over center. ----------------- Go Bills
  25. Good point. Drew is not the only villain. The O-line shares the blame. Bad call on 4th and goal too. But it was clear that the guy doesn't have a good vision of what is going on downfield. I saw it. I just feel that we are squandering our opportunities with a good roster and the Achilles heel is at the helm and there is no real solution because all of the backups are hurt. ------------ Go Bills
