I take some satisfaction in seeing the extremely biased liberal media out here in the Bay Area get taken down a notch. Republicans (conservative and moderate) take so much abuse out here that it is fun to see the liberal dems scratching their heads while trying to figure out what went wrong. I think you would be wise to make a move in that area. XM is in the low 30's and Sirius is just below 4 (that appears to be a nice buy). There is always a downside. Be careful. Do some research. Look at price to earnings ratios and market caps. Don't put all your money in one or the other. Take a look around and see who else is out there. Personally, I see this as a growth industry. Also, if Bush wins, you'll see a continued crackdown by the FCC on obscenity and perhaps, more people and talent willing to move to that medium. Also, try to see if this is going to be something that is offered as a standard in new cars in the future. My most important piece of advice is to only invest the money you are willing to possibly lose and do not margin. Good luck. ------------------- Go Bills

Agreed. I think Mularkey's system is starting to come together. They seem to have eliminated some (but not all) of the mental errors that were leading to things like consecutive false start penalties in our own stadium. McGahee can continue to improve and I like what I have seen from Evans. I heard some words out of Moulds mouth last week that makes me believe the vets are committed to get things turned around. I was angry early in the season, then I started to realize we weren't going to win the Super Bowl this year anyway and that we are building toward a future that is at least 1-2 years away. If viewed in that light, then I think things are much much better off than the record shows. It will take some patience and I'm willing to wait and see. ------------ Go Bills

Watched the game at the North Star yesterday. I liked what I saw. I think we'll put together a nice string of wins and finish strong this season. I think we'll beat the Jets this weekend. McGahee looks like he will be a future star. Interesting to see the D-line guys play O-line. The defense gets better every week. It was a fun Halloween out here yesterday. ------------ Go Bills

We have a post like this at least once a month. I'm sick of posting all my reasons why they might stay or leave etc. I'm sure that there are several others here that agree. Maybe the regulars could all come up with a collective board post that we could put up everytime this issue arises? Let's dig up our old ones and cut and paste- something covering regionalism, the Jacobs and the alternative cities/markets and so forth. I saw that earlier. Sure Houston played poorly in the second half, but the Bills did a hell of a job with their persistence. I don't want their achievement dimmed by the perception that Houston handed the game to us in the second half. ----------- Go Bills
